Kudesa Homestay

Had a wonderful time here. The staff were so very accommodating for my needs, and such kind people. On my last day, the manager heard I was walking back from a waterfall (because there’s 3 in walking distance) picked me up without request or expectations.

The whole homestay is jam packed full of beautiful woodwork, and pool is perfectly temperature! Good for a hot day.

Didn’t worth the money compare to other hotels with same price, we booked one of the room facing the pool.
The room, especially the bathroom smells moldy. You will see the mold on the side wall of the bathroom.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
It wasn’t a pleasant stay.

Great stay in Kudesa. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is always available and smiling. The swimming pool is very pleasant. As for the location, it's a little far from Ubud center (about 30 minutes by scooter) and there aren't many restaurants around.but the neighborhood is very cute and local.

Beautiful hotel / village / temple, if you want to live a unique Indonesian experience I highly recommend it,
the staff is super friendly
the breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared,
the pool is lovely!
The only negative note is the roosters who start crowing from 5.00 in the morning but otherwise everything was perfect

Lokasi di pedesaan yang ramai, kamar besar, kolam renang cukup panjang, komplek taman indah dan halaman terawat.

We loved it! Best banana pancakes so far (3 weeks bali/lombok now), fresh fruits and orange juice for breakfast. This homestay is like an oasis in/near ubud!
Nice staff, nice family! Definitely one of our best stays in Bali. Pickup and drop off driver, scooter (good condition!) to rent at the homestay.

Great hotel, in a quiet and authentic place in Ubud but close to center and tourist places with scooter that they rent. The common areas are spectacular for the price with a lot of vegetation and nice swimmingpool. The garden is sourrounded by traditional balinese houses and temples. Our room was clean and big, it had an exterior bathroom and views to the swimmingpool. Food was simple but had a great price and was good, cooked and served by a kind staff. The driver we rented through the hotel was also very kind and polite. Honestly it was the hotel in all our trip with the best quality/price, quiet and authentic, therfore I recommend it to you!

Kamarnya bersih, pelayanan ramah, suasana hotel asri menyenangkan, kolam renang bersih, kamar mandinya unik ada bebatuannya dan atapnya terbuka, membuat suasana alamnya makin dapet.
Buat yang bawa anak2, ada mobil2an dan sepada juga buat ngajak main anak puter2an di sekitar homestay.
Buat sarapan kita bisa bayar 30rb sudah dapet kopi, teh, buah2an dan makanan beratnya tinggal pilih mau yang mana.
Overall sih oke banget.

Kudesa Homestay made my Bali trip a happy ending. From infrastructure to service, ambiance to cleanliness, the quality of the homestay exceeded my expectations! Uncle Munku has set up his homestay very beautifully, including the traditional Balinese buildings, tiled roofs, swimming pool, well-manicured lawns, lots of trees and friendly staff. Although I had booked my room for 2 nights, I could not help but extend my stay at Kudesa for another night! Let me list the best features of the homestay.

1. Room, bathroom, bed, linen - all were super clean. They also have a daily cleaning service.
2. The cool environment in the hotel/homestay complex due to many trees and plants make one homely.
3. Well spoken and friendly staff. The boys can speak basic English and help you out in most matters.
4. The homestay kitchen is a must try for guests. You can choose the food items that you want to have as breakfast.
5. Drinking water dispensers are stationed at three spots within the homestay complex. So you won't need to keep buying water bottles through your stay.
6. They provide airport pickup and drop services at rates comparable to GRab/Gojek taxis.
7. Uncle Munku and his nephew Dewan are the ones that you need to contact for any expert advice on topics like Balinese culture, tourist places and local routes. Learn about the rich Balinese culture from these two generous gentlemen.
8. The homestay provides motorbikes for rent, 100 cc/110 cc/125 cc automatic scooters at 50000 IDR per day. You will need those for traveling around Bali.
9. The homestay is located near Sukawati region, but close enough to Ubud market and major attractions in Ubud. 20 minutes scooter ride to Ubud market, Monkey forest and Campuhan Ridge Walk, and Sukawati art market.
10. Some homely restaurants are steps away from the homestay if you in a mood for dining out. Notable ones are Warung Bu Mangku and My G Warung.

I am looking forward to staying at Kudesa Homestay in the future.

Very nice homestay. Big room, big pool, very clean, nice staff, quiet and natural place.
Feels like your sleeping in a temple far from everythinf but just 8 minutes scooter ride from center (but many good and cheap warungs 2 min walk away).
The staff was friendly and helpful, scooter was cheap and reliable.
I would give 6 stars if i could

Cosy home stay with friendly staff, swimming pool and wonderful breakfast! You will feel at home here. You can rent a scooter and explore the neighborhood or let them organize trips for you. Dewan, the manager speaks English, Spanish, French. He is a well traveled experienced guy with a great heart who will help you to make your stay unforgettable
