La Lucciola

The view is fantastic, the service is good. Had the tuna prawn pasta and felt immediately sick. The food isn’t at the right level for the restaurant’s prices and decor.

Horrible place, don’t let it fool you. They were very happy to NOT have a family group. The kids were not allowed to make any noise or walk on the grass. Refused to sit a group together, incredibly pretentious place. You are better off anywhere else.

Probably one of the tastiest places I’ve eaten in Bali. Food, service and atmosphere were all immaculate!

Food is always outstanding, location on the beach is lovely and the service is faultless. This is the place to go for a romantic dinner.

I'm a pizza freak and pretty good at making it myself so I know a good pizza when I eat one and this my friends is amazing pizza!

La Lucciola has always been in the list of places to eat and enjoy in Bali.

This was my second trip to this restaurant and I must say the vibe of eating here at sunset is simply divine.

The service is of course, amazing. Staff are friendly and knowledgable. Reservations are usually necessary to obtain a good view for the sunset.

The menu is simple and concise. High quality produce is used and the concoctions l, however simple, are delicious.

Overall, great experience! The coconut panna ccota is amazing.

I could feel the fresh taste and the unique sauce made me even more palatable. The scenery is wonderful enough to take a wedding shot. However, there is no air conditioner. So, if you visit in the middle of the day, you can sweat.

The ambience of this restaurant is awesome. Amazing staff. They are very polite. The food is also very good. This place lacks wifi. The staff will help you to order good dishes. Ice creams were ok. Good for non vegetarians. Vegetarian options are comparatively less.
A definite visit for couples.

The view is gorgeous. It's absolutely a must to visit if you're a romantic for a beach sunset. Even after the sunset you can watch and listen to the waves (which look huge) and it's really lovely: 3

We came on a Monday evening without a booking and had to wait for about 30 minutes for a table - which was fine 'cos we just settled at the bar and enjoyed the view.

Food was average for the price - you kind of get what you pay for. I had the coral trout (one of the Monday specials) which I was quite satisfied with. It was like IDR 240,000 before additional taxes though. Also had the chocolate fondant which was good but I felt like they could've been more generous with the gelato. It was a tiny scoop: (

While the atmosphere was great, it was a little too dark for our liking. Partner couldn't see her wagyu pappardelle properly so she wasn't too happy. And she got quite a few mosquito bites from the restaurant.

But other than that, I am totally coming back.

The restaurant staff were very welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. The view from the restaurant was amazing especially the sunset and you really get a relaxed atmosphere overall.

We never set out to eat Italian on our authentic trip to Bali but were so glad we did. La Lucciola delivers a lovely meal in a fantastic setting.

Housed in a beautiful building over two levels made all the better at night by the twinkling of fairy lights around the building and trees.

We hadn’t booked but they allowed us to wait for a table to become free, which allowed us to have cocktails in the funky bar (Mojitos & Apple Martinis to be precise).

It was roughly 15 minutes before we were seated and handed the menu (this is my only negative) The tables were so ‘romantic’ that people used their phones to be able to read the menu, so be prepared for a few lights appearing sporadically, maybe they could invest in the menu torches other restaurants have.

Everything we ate was delicious, starters we went with Gnocchi and for mains we ventured for Lamb Ragu & Beef Fillet with a nice side of spinach to share. (Sorry for the non descriptions but I’m writing this review several weeks later and can’t find a menu online anywhere to jog my memory).

We were far too full for desserts so paid the bill and wondered onto the beach for a romantic stroll under the stars.

Highly recommend, good food, good service, beautiful setting.

The best thing in this restaurant was the ocean view. The food was average and the staff needed more training. Very slow service.

From the perfect Margherita on, it was a stunning evening.

Service was impecible.
We waited for nothing.

A turn of the head brought wait staff.
Decor is delightful. Colonial plantation with an open centre, so everyone has a view.

Presentation was exceptional.

The food was stellar.

I strongly recommend a visit.
Please be warned, it isn't cheap, but it is cheaper than Australia, where the owners come from.

Beautiful unobstructed view of the sea, and so peaceful at lunch you will hear the waves crashing onto the shore. Quiet doesn’t seem to be easy to find any more in these parts so this is refreshing and restful. It was hard to choose from the menu but we enjoyed everything that was ordered including the juice cocktails.
