What a fantastic place with exquisite food and drinks. The margaritas are great. We had bbq corn, fajitas, beef brisket which were all really good. The Tres Leches dessert was the best I have had. Very friendly staff, really efficient service, reasonably priced.must do place if you are in the area.

I'm always reluctant to try Mexican food too far from Mexico, but I am glad I did -this was fantastic! The pork shoulder tacos were heavenly, the quesadillas mouth watering, nachos were different, but delicious and we really enjoyed the complimentary lime-chili black bean amuse-bouche. We will return!

Carne asada tacos and the quesadillas were excellent. Good beer selection with Kura2 and other local brews. Classic margarita needs work as did the burrito that was too heavy on rice but really love the ambience and the music. Muy rico y la promixa vez que vuelva a Canggu volvere!

Very nice place on the main street of Canggu. Everything was very good, a little above the price in the area but well worth it. Lots of variety of dishes and spicy sauces, we loved it. The michelada for 25k to add to the beer you choose was great

Staff is amazing, well trained and friendly.

The food is great, we tried every taco they have on the menu. My favourite was the chicken adobo… wow. My gf preferred the beef one. Fish taco was lovely as well. Quesadilla with beef also tasty.
The desserts are amazing… best tres leches ever tried in a restaurant.

Great for gluten free. Had awareness about coeliac disease and even made sure everything was cooked in a seperate fryer for me. The corn tacos were some of the best I’ve had and they had gluten free tortilla chips too. Great price for the quality of food.

Good gluten free options, cocktails were delicious and so were most of the tacos. I knocked a star off because the fish taco was nice, but the fish itself was not particularly great. One or two pieces of fish tasted quite off. Apart from that, we enjoyed the vibe, service and rest of the food. Loved how thin and tasty their homemade tacos were too!

Customer service was very good. They were very proactive. Gave us complimentary drinks and cake for our anniversary.

Love good Mexican spots and this one was spot on! As the restaurant was busy we sat at the bar. The margaritas are really good, so does the food. We had fish tacos, quesadillas and fajita. Delicious! The service was a bit slow, but hey its Bali.

Love their Chipotle Chicken Quessadilla and Chicken Adobo Tacos. If you're up for snacks, try the BBQ Corn or Mochomos Nachos, absolutely mouthwatering, my kids really enjoyed them.

Love this atmosphere of Restaurant. Very stylish interior, the foods was really great especially BBQ CORN RIBS Highly recommended all staff was helpful and really friendly. Definitely come back

Beef quesadilla is a 10/10. If course, they absolutely destroy you with the cost of drinks. Paid 35k for still water. But that's most places in bali. Apparently you are supposed to know to ask for free water so you dont pay 10x the value of the bottle. Would be 5 stars if not for that.

Satisfying meal

Best dish of the night was the Fundido. Cheese fondue, chorizo, tomatoes and jalapeño with tortilla chips.

Had the LacaLaca cocktail which was a jalapeño infused tequila with lime and starfruit. Exciting drink with a good heat with every sip.

Fish tacos and chicken quesadilla was alright.

Dmg was ~300k Rp per pax with food and a cocktail each.

I didn't expect I'd be eating Mexican food in Bali, Indonesia. Hunger ruled and La Calita lured me in with its bright, very clean, open and airy atmosphere. My steak tacos were tender, well seasoned and quite authentic tasting. My chicken quesadilla had very fresh veggies on it along with delicious chicken and cheese. The customer service was perfectly warm and welcoming. La Calita was an excellent find as I strolled from the beach!

Lovely place for a decent set of cocktails and Mexican style food. Service was the great Bali service you expect.

Came here for drinks after dinner. Quite empty and quiet, maybe because it was Sunday night. Tried the mangorita, its really good! Literally taste like mango shaken margarita.

No shortage of Mexican food in Bali, but, this is the pick of the crop. Great vibes and alway great fun.

An evening well spend with great tacos and food. So far my best tacos (the pork and the chicken are a must-try). Service was also excellent, we were welcomed with a great cocktail shots (was really good!)

Incredible experience! We went for a tequila tasting! The bar staff told us all about the history of the tequila super interesting! We then had the tastiest dinner the Chef ordered for the table and it was well incredible so fresh and bursting with incredible favours, I will not only be coming back a lot but also gojek to my Villa! Such a great vibe bar and restaurant, amazing 5 stars for me. Outstanding

Hands down my favourite Mexican restaurant in Canggu! The new interiors are stunning and the food is delicious – I highly recommend trying the Lacalaca it's their take on a spicy margarita (be warned they are addictive!) paired with the wood smoked brisket and baja fish tacos, I can't wait for my next visit. Thanks lacalita team, I hope to see you soon!

Overpriced food and drinks. The guacamole was about 2 tablespoons. No specials even though most restaurants during covid-19 offers something. This place is tourist focused only

Definitely the best mexican food so far in Bali. I got the fish tacos and they're fresh and tasty! The spicy margarita is surprisingly good lol. Every Tuesday they have 50% promo. What not to like? ;)

I’ve been in this restaurant many times and decided to rate it because this place has really solid Mexican concept with true Mexican style food (that also was always delicious and well cooked) also it has proper vibe and atmosphere.

Nice place, good service, but not real mexican food at all. Whoever puts great reviews has never tried real mexican food. Queso fundido is not the real queso fundido, carnita tacos are cold and tasteless with frozen salsa. We left really disappointed.

Was having a dinner today and we tried some of the menu. Really like the appetizer fundito (melted cheese, meaty pork or beef I forgot), also ordered this month promotion of taco that consist of sweet potatoes and other stuff (CDMX the name of the menu) it's great with strong flavour. Also order something with pork on it as recommendation (carnitas). It was alright but the problem only the meat is a bit dry or overcooked. Don't forget to squeeze bit of lime and put a bit more chilli to better taste. Love the dessert my choice is the churos

Fine place, buy one of those places where they calculate a service fee and give themselves a tip. A big one. So the receipt was a surprise. If we would have had a better look at the menu, we could have been prepared, but it is just a nasty way of pricing, in my opinion. A regular beer in the Netherlands is cheeper. And that says something.

Chill place in Canggu offering great Mexican food. Service was good and the food was excellent. Ingredients were fresh. Only thing about the place is the very poor ventilation. If you do visit, take your time to pick a table. There is a single air-con unit and fans are few, so be prepared to sweat a lot in this outlet.

Came here twice in one week. Vegan tacos were amazing and the ambiance is great. Currently the best Mexican food in bali.

Casual, friendly staff, some good happy hour specials and good Mexican inspired cuisine, step off Batu Bolong and step into a treat.

Awesome Mexican food! If you’re looking for a place to chill and have some drinks alongside delicious tacos, this is the place to be. Great place for date night too.
