Legend Diving Lembongan

I had the most fantastic time here getting my Open Water certification! Sarah was the most patient, kind, and knowledgeable teacher we could have asked for. We always felt safe and comfortable, and soon caught the diving bug! Loved all the girl power at this dive shop and can’t wait to visit again:)

A few days ago I finished the Open Water Course in this Diveshop without much previous diving experience. My Instructor, Charles, could not have been more relaxed and supportive in leading the course. Charles guided me through everything in a friendly, easy going manner and made me feel at ease both under and above the water. There was plenty of time for everything, no rush and I really enjoyed the course and gained confidence underwater as a result. I can highly recommend Diveshop and if you ask for Charles when you get the chance to choose your instructor you won’t go wrong.

Competent people and what they do, the diving equipment is in good condition, the diving sites are very interesting and full of marine life, I personally had Ivana as an instructor and it was a blast to have her I advise finishing before starting to dive in Lembongan the theoretical part so that you can enjoy the island after diving, which for me is the best place in Indonesia

We were organizing our trip to Indonesia, and after seeing the photos of the manta rays, and the videos of people diving near them, we knew we had to go diving.

We decided to get certified since we had dived before and we loved it. We chose to do it in Nusa Lembongan, which was one of the destinations we were passing through and because it is close to several manta spots, and we chose Legend Diving Lembongan as the instructor center because of its ratings, the PADI certification, and because we wanted the course to be in Spanish, since we considered that there would be too important lessons to lose detail.

We did the course with Fernanda, who was very patient with us, and knew how to convey to us at all times the importance of each of the exercises and we gained the security that we expected of knowing what we were doing and what we should do at sea according to the circumstances. She was super friendly and attentive, and in fact she also gave us many other recommendations about the island so that we could complete the day if we didn't know what to do.

On our first dive, we were already able to see 5 manta rays swimming among the members of the group, and just for that moment it had already been worth it, and on the other 3 we were able to see bamboo sharks, a couple of small rays, and a lot of different fish. We were looking forward to seeing Mola-Mola, but we left a second visit pending.

In case it is not clear, we have already recommended to our acquaintances with the intention of taking a trip to Indonesia, that if they pass through Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida (they also have a center there), that they take the opportunity to have a more complete experience than a massage, and do it with them, they are great.

In general everything was great. We dove with many different instructors, all of them except Fernanda were great and trully professional. She ruined the impression of this place, the process of diving with her was hostile and not-welcoming. Btw, I want to clarify, there is an instructor, Fernando, who is an amazing instructor. So don't be confused with the name, FernandO is highly recommended while FernandA is not. You can ask for to dive with a specific instructor on the front desk.

I took the advanced course here with my friend. Our diver Ivanna was super nice and helped me when I had difficulties, for example. Everything was explained and helped very well when stopping during the ascent, equalizing the pressure or hitting the fin correctly. We also drove to various spots and were able to see a lot. E.g. Manta rays, turtles, various fish, corals and at the end we were lucky enough to see a Mola Mola. Thank you for the great experiences and the super competent further training, which made me much more confident:)

We did our Advanced Open Water course at Legend Diving. Everything was well organized from start to finish despite difficult conditions (low tide/high tide). The diving spots were challenging (currents, cold), but you always felt extremely safe. Ivana was a great instructor. Patient, attentive and all theory and briefings were easy to understand. I recently had the pleasure of taking the Advanced Open Water Course at Legend Diving Lembongan. As someone with limited diving experience, having only obtained my Open Water Certificate a couple of weeks ago, I was eager to further develop my skills. My instructors, Fernando and Alfonso, made the entire experience enjoyable and safe.

Fernando and Alfonso were incredibly friendly and patient throughout the course. They provided excellent care and ensured I felt secure, even during challenging dives with currents and dives up to 30 meters deep. Their constructive feedback greatly contributed to my improvement over the two-day training. Moreover, their fun and personable nature, including playing music on the boat, added to the fantastic overall experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to enhance their diving skills.

Legend Diving Lembongan excelled in organizing and preparing all the necessary equipment, allowing for a hassle-free experience. All I had to do was show up on time with my swimsuit. The underwater scenery was simply magnificent. I was astounded by the abundance of beautiful sea creatures I encountered. The crystal-clear water showcased stunning coral, fish, starfish, and even sea turtles. And, of course, the sight of the majestic Manta rays left me breathless. It was an unforgettable and truly awe-inspiring experience.

The staff at Legend Diving Lembongan were exceptional in their customer service. They genuinely cared for all divers, both during and after the dives. A particular incident highlighted their dedication. After completing my course and realizing I had left my clothes at the diving center, I reached out to the front desk, asking if they could send my belongings to the mainland via delivery, with me covering the costs. Despite the time constraints (only 20 minutes before boarding), they promptly brought my clothes to the beach, located around 10 minutes away. I left with all my belongings, grateful for the incredible assistance provided by the Legend Diving Lembongan staff. They truly live up to their name!

My experience with Legend Diving Lembongan was nothing short of outstanding. I can't wait to return, perhaps for a free diving course next time. My family of four dove with Legend Diving today. The staff were all lovely and very professional. They were able to find gear to fit my petite 12 year old and had all our gear prepped and ready to go when it was time to head to the boat. We found this shop by chance and could not have been happier!

Excellent multinational staff. DMs and Instructors are well trained and have ample experience in the dive sites around Nusa Lembongan and Penida. The dive boat, captain and crew are well organized and run a safe diving experience. Equipment, Dive Center and pool are clean, comfortable and well maintained. 2 tank dives include water, hot coffee/tea, fruit and lunch. I was very impressed with the balance of female to male staff. As a female diver it felt very comfortable.

The perfect experience. A well managed place with a fun and dedicated team of dive masters! My daughter and I have Open Water and went signed up for a fun dive with an upgrade to Manta Point. We got Tanya as our guide, who started with a great refresher a day before and 2 dives next day. Her level of experience was clear from start to finish. She was amazingly patient and attentive to our needs and “ issues” made the dives relaxing and fun. My youngest daughter also came for an introduction dive with Fernando. What an amazing guy! Attentive, great with kids, detailed and dedicated. Don’t skip on the Manta Point - amazing!
If your going diving in the area - invest with these guys. Worth it!

Amazing experience! We did our PADI open water and loved it! We had an awesome instructor Asif and loved the team vibe. Very patient, very friendly and a lot of fun! Would highly recommend, we felt completely comfortable and it was our first underwater experience. We saw turtles, mantas, a bamboo shark…you name it but swimming with mantas was definitely the best part!

Legend Diving Lembongan is a fantastic Centre, I completed my Open Water PADI here and I couldn’t have chosen a better spot! The team are big on safety, ensuring I felt comfortable and at ease in their hands throughout the whole experience, which is so important when learning to dive! The food was amazing (especially for a vegan!), the boat rides were well equipped and comfortable, however the thing that struck me most was how genuine, fun and kind all the team members are here, you immediately feel like part of the community and get to meet so many cool people from all over the world! My diving instructor was Julio, and he was assisted by Bonnie who is training to attain her divemaster certification! We had great fun with them alongside the rest of the team! I have already recommended the centre to many friends visiting the island and will definitely be back to dive with the team again! Thank you!

I had my second dive trip with Legend. I only have good experience and only good words for Legend. They’re really surpass all expectations. Everyone were so friendly and helpful. Julio was such an experience diver. He was calm and professional (because we were noob divers lol). He also shared and imparted knowledge to us without judgement. Super organised company with the best service and people we came across on the entire island (we visited 3 dive centres). They charge a bit more than the others but you get what you pay for, and we wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to do our PADI open water certificate with. It was my first ever time diving. Our training was comprehensive and our instructors were friendly / reassuring. We got to see mantas, jellyfish, sea turtles and lots of different fish. We also got to do a drift dive which was sooo much fun, felt like you were in a video game. Highly recommend you check this place out before you commit anywhere else!

I took my son for a week end in Bali. He's an ocean lover and always wanted me to give it a try. I'm not a good swimmer and not confident in a water where I can't stand up or see the bottom.
This decision was very delicate for me to take but I wanted very much to challenge myself and share my son's passion.
So we decide to book with Legend Diving in Lembongan as we had very good feedbacks of them from relatives. I can't say I would dive on every holidays with my son, but I did manage to face my fears thanks to their very professional team and the limitless patience of Jesie. Such lovely lady! She listened and understood my hesitations, find the words to help me building slowly slowly my confidence. And yes! I received a 2 h beginner pool training here, which I am very happy that they did for me. I felt the instructor was very professional and knowledgeable. I did not go ahead with an open water as I did feel I was not ready for that and didn't manage my neutral position yet. Very friendly staff.

Very professional and clean. Instructors are PADI certified and talk through all the doubts you might have in relation to Scuba. They have a pool as well where you can take a diving instruction session to understand if you are confortable with going into an actual sea location. Amazing people!

6 STAR DIVE CENTRE!

We went with Legend Diving and it was truly magical!

Prior to the Trip:
I would like to start by commenting that I am very meticulous when I plan for a trip and I would like everyone to know how easy and enjoyable it was to communicate with their Dive Manager Jesie Tan, via WhatsApp/e-mail prior to the trip. She was extremely patient and understanding, friendly, and very very very sincere during the whole correspondence. She also sent me reminders and courteous msgs 1-2 days before the trip & it really shows the high standard of customer service.

The Centre:
The dive center/shop was impeccable, probably the cleanest and most well organized dive centre I’ve been to! Everything is so well organized and thoughtful, from the briefing area, admin area to the equipment and briefing area. Another plus point is that they are environmentally friendly!

Equipment:
All their equipment is very well maintained and clean. No funky smell in their BCDs, regulators etc. I can see why this is so, as all their staff (instructors/DMs etc) all work together with great team work to get things done. Due to good organization, you can see their level of upkeep on equipment is very good.

The Experience:
The boat was clean, with adequate refreshments (coffee/tea/fresh water and fresh fruits) provided during our trips. The crew were all fun loving and friendly, but professional in handling of all the equipments, and making sure all the guests had a great time and were well taken care of. Great Team work and team spirit among them too!

Manta Point was magic! And that was due to our Dive instructor/guide, Luana! She was really experienced and knowledgeable, and knew exactly where to find the Mantas (we saw more than 10!) She was also very kind and professional. My wife had issues with her sinus and she calmed her down, and was all eyes on her during the whole dive. She’s humble, yet when needed she was firm. I would stronglyX1000 recommend diving or taking up courses with her if you have the opportunity! Thank you so much Luana!

The other dive sites were really great too, such as:
- Crystal Bay, (as the name suggest, really really great visibility and very pretty Dive site! Unfortunately not Mola season so no sightings)
- Mangrove (Drift Dive, great visibility and I really enjoyed this site)
- Sental and SD point (surprisingly great visibility too, we were accompanied by turtles during our safety stop & it shows the rich biodiversity these sites have)

This is the reason why they are a 5 star PADI Dive Centre (6 stars to me) hope to dive w them
really soon again!

What an amazing time spent underwater! I did a Discover Scuba Dive experience with Legend and had a wonderful time from the moment I walked into the shop, the training and the pool, and the moment I met the amazing marine life that the island had to offer. I saw some turtles, angel fish, clown fish, puffer fish, starfish, scorpion fish, trumpet fish and many many more. It was very challenging for me at the beginning but thanks to my very professional and patient instructor Cass, all of my fears faded away. He reassured me a lot and made sure that I enjoyed as much as possible. The Legend staff was very friendly and welcoming, and I highly recommend choosing Legend Diving when visiting Nusa Lembongan!

Highly recommend! Everyone we dealt with at Legend Diving was so friendly, helpful and professional. We booked snorkelling (hoping to see manta rays) and saw lots of beautiful fish, coral and pretty coves. Sadly the manta rays were elsewhere today, but I just see this as a sign to come back for another holiday! Ben was excellent and we all felt well looked after throughout the trip. I've never dived, but after discussing it today, I'm tempted to try and conquer my fears. Thank you!

Very professional! We did a Discovery Scuba Dive at Legend Dive, which means it was the first time we ever tried diving. Everything was well organized, and the staff had everything under control. Special thanks to our instructor Gas (sorry if spelling is off) who was one of the best instructors we have had in any sports. He made it feel easy and we felt 100% safe all the time. Also the dive spots at Nusa Lembongan are quite exceptional so this is a great choice for the location as well. A big recommendation on Legend Dive from us!

Despite having dive in the past year they require you to do a refresher course stating PADI regulations. When asked to see the documentation they gave us the run around until pulling out the open water certification book. They opened to a page that says it's RECOMMENDED that you get a refresher if you haven't been on a dive in 6-12 months. The refresher is an extra 350k IDR. If you need a refresher then do it but if you're like me with 40+ dives in an OW cert then don't go here. They don't care how many dives you have if you're only OW. Smart move would be to tell them you been diving within the past 6 months.

We did 4 dives with this company and everything was great. We went to SD point, Toya Pakeh, PED and Manta point. They have very good instructors and equipment in good conditions. We decided this company because you feel safe. Be always safe when diving, as sometimes other diving companies can take you on a diving spot were there is not good weather conditions or big waves. They also have a pool and you can chill there after the dive.

Just as the name implies, Riccardo, Jesie, Toff, Imam, and the rest of the crew (we are forgetting our incredible German guide's name) were true legends. The perfect balance of the best professional service, passion for diving and protecting Bali's acquatic heritage, and focus on ensuring all guests have a comfortable, safe, and mesmerizing diving experience. Oh and getting to see a massive Manta mating ritual was fairly more than mind blowing. See you for our next dip in Nusa, and let us know when you're coming through HK!

My husband, a certified dive instructor and I, along with our two kids (20 years old and 17 years old) just got back from our trip. After a lot of research both by my husband and I, we chose Legend Diving. Our research paid off!
My kids and I took a refresher course in the pool with Imi since it's been a couple of years since we last dove and we also had never done drift dives. After reading articles about the types of dives available in the Nusa Lembongan area I was concerned about the difficulty of the dive and safety due to the tendency for strong currents. Imi was our dive instructor for the refresher course and we were very happy to have him as our divemaster during all 4 of our dives. Imi did a great job going over everything and making sure we were confident with our abilities. We were impressed with Imi's knowledge, thoroughness regarding potential conditions of the local waters and attention to safety. I truly had nothing to worry about with regards to the drift dives.although I understand the potential for it to be dangerous for divers who aren't paying attention and don't follow the guidelines that are set forth. We absolutely LOVED the dives. Our first day and first dive was to SD Point. This was our first drift dive and the kids and I first felt like we prefer not going on a drift dive because you are moving with the current and not able to stop and inspect reefs like we are used to. However, during our second time out we went on two drift dives, first to PED and then to Mangrove. We really LOVED these two drift dives. We saw so much variety in marine life/fish and beautiful reefs. During our second dive on the first day out we went to Manta Point. Imi explained that the visibility wouldn't be ideal because it's a cleaning station for the Mantas and that there is a surge at this location, he prepared us on how to dive at this site for maximal enjoyment and safety. I'm glad he set our expectations. He was very good at pointing out Manta Rays and we loved seeing these huge creatures. All the crew that accompanied us were friendly, knowledgable and just incredible to be around. These divemasters put safety and service first. We didn't have to do anything: they took care of all the equipment, helping us get equipment on/off, and made sure we were fed and hydrated. The boxed lunch they provided was vegetarian fried rice, w/ vegetables, & watermelon. It was delicious & satisfying.seriously. I wasn't expecting to want to eat what they provided.
