Legian Beach Hotel

Nice and clean hotel.
Services is good, except a security personnel or satpam on duty on Januari 9,2023 at 7.30PM in beach front resto is arrogant.

Cannot wait to return to this hotel and fully recommend this location to others wishing to travel to Legian. The staff and facilities were excellent. The staff at all levels have good English-speaking skills. Great location directly opposite the beach. Plenty of room around the pools and shade. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. Plenty of choices for breakfast, only issue was that some of the food could have been warmer. As we stayed for Christmas and New Years the hotel included evening meals in the package and provided free entertainment, couldn't ask for anything more.

As always a fantastic stay. Our 9th week since the end of Covid. Sunsets on the beach and the 3 metre walk back to the resort for dinner is just heavenly, food excellent as always. So clean and well maintained plus great entertainment. But what keeps us coming back is the staff, in all departments! They are amazing. Miss you all, see you in May. Xx

Hotel was quite dated, it needs renovation, friendly staff, breakfast was very spacious and various fruits and cerals were well organised.

Situated in a great spot across from the beach and close to lots of eateries.

Neat hotel with beautiful bungalows and 2 nice swimming pools (1 of which is adults only with a bar in the pool, very chill). The rooms are neat, have good air conditioning and a nice shower. Although the name suggests that the hotel is located on the beach, there is a busy road in between, which was a shame. The breakfast is good and extensive, but you really don't have to be here for dinner. Just like lunch, it is far too expensive for Balinese standards and not special in terms of taste. The front desk staff is not cooperative or helpful at all. Overall a great stay.

The hotel is an absolute nightmare. I have never experienced so much noise in my life. It is unbearably loud due to a disco in the immediate vicinity. In any case, it is not advisable to make a booking. Bad that TUI offers something like that. When asked at reception it was said that it would be quiet around 11pm. But that was also a lie, since the nightclub could be heard until 1 am. No trace of relaxation. Luckily, after asking again the next day, we got a room on the other side, so that it was a bit quieter.

I took my wife here to propose to her back in 2016. Everything was perfect. I have never been to a nicer place. It has a private beach and beautiful views everywhere. It was pretty pricey, but I feel you get what you pay for at this place. Great staff, great atmosphere, great location. I was treated like royalty haha.

I recommend going here or anywhere in Bali. There are many nice places to check out in Bali, even the less expensive hotels are amazing.

We stayed here from 8th-12th February 2023 in deluxe pool villa.
Very clean resort and all staff presented well and always asking us if everything is ok?
All meals were well presented and looked like they was made with love.
While staying here I booked a cooking class within the hotel with Wayan Wastika and what pleasure it was him to explain about the spices but also cook 4 meals and then eat at lunchtime if you can afford it go for the market visit aswell.
We could not find a fault at this hotel.

Layout.
Legian “beach” hotel consists of a road between the beach and the 2x swimming pools one of which if adults only, so for us we could only use 50% of the swimming amenities which was disappointing to learn on arrival. Next comes a series of individual, duplex and triplex bungalows, followed by the reception building then carpark and at the rear a large hotel room complex.

Rooms
We booked the family room with bunk Beds for family of 4 at a rate of 300AUD/night. Upon arrival we checked in and were escorted to our room at the very rear of the property. The room was nicely renovated, however it had a frosted window the size of 2xa4 pages and no balcony, and NO natural light. The location and design was heavily mis represented upon booking. This room is worthy of an airport hotel. NOT a “beach” hotel, especially at this rate and especially in Bali. No more than $100Aud/night.

I felt the complaint was a common one and the reception was kind enough (with some eye rolling and condescending comments) to move us to a garden villa in between the reception and pool. It was a triplex and was tastefully renovated. We could clearly hear the neighbours after 8pm but no prob as they were also a family.
To be clear. I would still see good value at 300aud for the garden villa.

Over all.
The hotel is directly in the hustle and bustle. It is very close to its overdue date. The grounds within the villas are appalling. Weedy and over grown. The pool areas are dated but fine. The food and beverage are Australian prices $8 bintangs and $15-$25aud lunches. No glass served in the outdoor areas is a shame and realistically this hotel should now sit in the Indonesian style hotel with local prices. Staff are wonderful and the breakfast is fantastic.

I certainly would not be staying here again. The value was extremely poor and there are much better options. Value at $80-100 for a hotel room and $150 for a villa (AUD)

Not recommended! The hotel pictures are misleading, hotel needs refurbishment and proper clean up, not just a few rooms that have been upgraded. Bathroom with old fashioned dirty shower curtains and looks old and dirty. Definitely not a 4star hotel experience. Staff is friendly. Location is good, next to beach. Breakfast included but hotel focuses on quantity over quality. Juices not fresh, pay extra for a proper coffee… happy hour with rules of where to sit … not being able to enjoy the beachside when it rains, lobby and main building bar + restaurants look old and dirty. Staff looks bored, hotel quite empty, lot of promotions which is usually a sign that things are not going so well.will not return.

Plus point, langsung berbatasan dengan pantai sendiri, seolah olah memiliki private beach yg jarang di jumpai di sekitar Jalan Pantai Kuta (hampir semua garis pantai adalah public beach di seberang jalan)

It’s was renovated last year.
I’ve stayed at the padma and this is on par.
The rooms are stunning, the gardens and grounds are Lush. The pools and swim up bar are exceptional. There is a kids pool with a playground and an adults pool with swim up bar, the lounge bar overlooking the beach is new and beautiful! The cocktails are fantastic and the breakfast is the same as the Padma! Exceptional

Fabulous hotel on the beach. Beautiful gardens and 2 great pools. Delicious breakfasts and dinners here are great. Staff excellent and nothing is too much trouble. This is our 15th stay at this hotel and it never dissapoints! They renovating another 30 odd rooms. We are in one of the ground floor renovated rooms at the moment and are just lovely. There are plenty of restaurants around and massage spa places and shops. Make sure you book a stay at this hotel for your next Bali trop. I am sure you will not be dissapointed.

Almost every october we stay here for 3 or 4 days. The rooms near the entrance are looks less maintenance than other part of the resort. Cottage much better. Breakfast always wonderful. Friendly staff. And the one we love is, the beach, Yayyyy. Clean and friendly street vendor.

A wonderful holiday made better by staying at a beautiful hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again and again. The facilities are great, the two pools, adult with swim up bar and the bigger pool with a kid safe pool attached was perfect temp everyday. The food was also the best we had, the in room dinning or the restaurant was great. No complaints about this place at all, lovely staff and so secluded we always had a peaceful sleep.

An oasis of calm from the time you arrive at reception. We arrived a little earlier than anticipated but only had to wait about 20 minutes until our bungalow was ready. Room location was great - next to the main pool which closed at 7.00pm and a short walk to the on site restaurants/bars. The resort is right across from the beach. Location-wise it was ideal for our 7 day stay.

Just outside the resort was everything we needed - restaurants, bars, spas. The hotel itself had plenty of food options, and we dined there a number of times - the quality of food was excellent.

Having two pools was great and we divided our time between both. There were plenty of sun lounges available, and the service for food and drinks was quick and easy.

We will definitely be back to this hotel and would choose to stay in similar accommodation to the Deluxe Garden Bungalow we had on this visit.

For a family or anyone who wants a more peaceful setting but also be close (very, very close) to Kuta beach and walking distance of Legian nightlife, I would strongly recommend this hotel. It is very close to cheap and good food so you don't have to walk far to get a quick bite to it. I love the garden theme outdoor setting of the place.

A lovely 5 star hotel with a very helpful and happy staff. We went there for our honeymoon and we got a welcome kit consisting of a cake, and drink coupons. We enjoyed the adult only swimming pool where and the great connectivity to the beach. The breakfast was also awesome! We stayed in a bungalow and we loved everything about it. The path was filled with greenery and it had all the facilities inside. We enjoyed sitting outside the room and lazing out in the evening.
Try to go for a bungalow to get a good experience of the hotel room. And if you run out of drinking water, you can refill it from the refilling station near the reception. The checkout process took a bit longer as the bungalow is somewhat far from the reception so keep some buffer time for checkout.
