If you are there, ask for Peri to be your „guide”. Guy speaks very good english, he knows a lot about coffee and he is very interesyed in different other topics. We spent very nice time here and learned a lot about coffee but also about libing in Bali from the perspective of local guy. If there, you jave chance to try a lot of different tastes of coffee but also tea and different other drinks.
AVOID. It is only a tourist trap. No coffee farm, 1 luwak in a cage, and in the shop at the end, you can pay 2x the price for coffee then what you get at any larger market. (100g luwak 444.000 IDR, at the market it is 200.000 IDR) The lady will rush you through a garden with 1 vanillanplant, 2 coffee bushes and thats all, she will ask you if you want to taste (for 50.000 IDR), and then lead you to the shop. Nothing but a Trap
Nice and very scenic location to experience Bali coffee. There you can learn the difference between male and female coffee bean and how the Balinese choose the male bean in the Bali coffee to have a stronger and more intense flavour. You can try different type of coffee with beautiful scenery.
Incredible experience tasting various coffees and teas after seeing the luwak brewing process. The luwak coffee is mildly sweet and quite tasty. There wasn’t any flavor we did not like. The ginger coffee and turmeric teas were our favorite. We’d love to come back soon.
Friendly and informative staff in a nice little setting. Tried the luwak coffee and it was tasty. Tried the complete line of coffees and teas. So much caffeine I won’t sleep for two days:)
My favorite experience in Ubud. If you like coffee or teas it’s a must. You get to try all of them with a beautiful view. Great service - Dayat our guide was exceptional!
Ok, one of the tourist traps but still a good place to see various plants such as cinnamon tree, coffee tree, banana trees, etc You can also order a cup of coffee luwak and admire caged civet cats from whose feces coffee gets collected and sold as coffee luwak. They have shopping area with overpriced coffees and teas, but our “guide” was not pushy and actually was quite informative. The only complaint is that they add a surcharge on credit card purchases.
If you like the overrated Luwak coffee, then this is your place to visit. It has a nice ambiance located next to a rice field. The cost of a tiny cup of coffee is outrageous.
This place is great! It's not over-crowded like some of the other places. This means you get attentive service with lots of information, and great coffee and tea tastings!
Good place for coffee and tea tasting. The tasting itself is free, but it doesn't include luwak coffee, which is 50k a cup. Still, good price-value in the whole. The staff is nice and they'll explain the whole process. Only thing, they have the animals in cages, but apparently their actual farm in the north has free ranging animals.
Was brought here by my driver, and felt that it would be a tourist trap. I was wrong. Not once did the staff forced us to buy anything, and they were really really friendly.
Coffee and tea tasting was great, and the tour given by the waiter assigned to me, Ojick, was outstanding! He had a deep understanding of the plants that they were growing in their garden. Would have given it 5 stars had the products they were selling been priced lower. (It's really expensive)
