Made Bagus Cafe Jimbaran

We spent a few days on the beach and always used this cafe. Food is excellent and the staff are great. Thank you Katak, Janine and the rest of the team for looking after us so well. Hopefully see you again sometime. Colin & Barbara (UK)

Great value, no tourist trap.
For around 300-400k IDR (~22€) everyone gets a full portion of nicely cooked and fried seafood including lobster and more.

View and ambiente was awesome and not too full of people, even at sunset.

If you are looking for a fish dinner with the most beautiful sunset in Bali, this is the right place. The view is truly breathtaking, the service is quick and the staff is courteous and friendly like everyone here in Bali. The only precaution always remember to ask to put the sauces aside. Embarrassing price.

My husband was ill after eating the seafood which is quite surprising given the good reviews but which is not surprising for us given that on arriving we noticed that the restaurant did not look hygienic at all. Very disappointing

Friendly waitress, not pushy when asking order. Treat domestic and foreign tourists the same (this is the most important thing). Food came out fast, at our requested time. A bit on the pricey side, but this is to be expected when dining along Jimbaran. Food tastes good. Cocktails needed a bit more liquor, not too syrupi. All in all a wonderful experience.

Superb warung on the beach for the sunset.
Their tasting menu of fresh fish and seafood grilled over a wood fire is of excellent quality.
The prices are very reasonable and the service with a smile.

My first meal was served fresh and BBQ-ed to perfection. I enjoyed it so much that I returned today!
We managed to get a table at 5.45pm with a bit of time to order and watch the Sun setting (quite romantic).
The price of the food is very affordable but I would recommend anyone with serious asthma take your puffer as most restaurants in the area do a woodfire BBQ-ing and it can get Smokey even in the outdoor dining.

One of the best sea food we have ever had in Bali! The staff is super nice and approachable and also prices are moderate.

Delicious seafood and very friendly staff. Service was quick and the price is very good. Wish we had came here more than just once. If you are in the area, you have to make sure to come and get some grilled seafood.

Masakan enak, service bagus, istimewa. Tempat nyaman. Minusnya hanya karena ini berbagi pantai dengan cafe lain, jadi sometimes agak terganggu juga. Tapi begitulah Jimbaran, it's ok. Memuaskan

Great friendly service! Had the lobster which was amazing and the presentation was great. The fried noodle chicken is the best i’ve ever had. Will be coming back again!

Fantastic service! The staff were very friendly on both of the nights we ate here. I had the satay chicken, chicken fried rice and the chicken noodles, all extremely enjoyable and very well prepared. My company thoroughly enjoyed the seafood as well. Would definitely recommend!

You will enjoy any part of Jimaran Bay, but if your wanting a seafood experience Made Bagus is great for location, taste, service and price.

Stall are extremely friendly and polite and will do their best to serve you exactly what you ordered.

Atmosphere is close to perfect and can be romantic if you chose it too be.

We tried 3 different restaurants on the beach of Jimbaran and this one was my favorite! You definitely have to try their king prawns which were the best we ate!

Semua ikan enak + empuk kecuali squid kadang ada yg alot. Kalau untuk bule mungkin rasanya pas, tp kalo buat orang yg suka makan pake bumbu rempah banyak mungkin kurang soalnya bumbu ikannya gak meresap sampe dalem. Jd cuman bagian luar nya aja. Vibenya enak bgt + cozy + harga jg bersahabat. Tempat juga bersih. Satu lagi, ikan gak bau amis

Very expensive for what it is. We didn’t want everything from the set menu for 600k for 2 so decided to order by weight. Surprise the final price was double -1200k. When we asked why it’s so expensive compare to set menu where we didn’t order everything from it. Waiter was very offensive. Accused us being lairs. Apparently he let us know that it’s the price before we ordered. And the explanation: you don’t get the same quality when order one of their menus. So good to know, whoever plans to go, do not order their set menus as the freshness and quality won’t be as good as average food we had ordering by weight.

Not fancy in terms of decor by any means, however, we were startled at the quality of the food! The grilled fish in our "package" was absolutely delicious, and the side order of calamari/fries was likewise fantastic and arrived too hot to eat. An amazing value as well. Don't miss it.

Walk in and you'll be seated on the beach! Wonderful and very accomodating service. Food was presented beautifully and was extremely mouth-watering! Must try fish and prawn!

Good value seafood. Great location for sunset as like other competitors. Lots of flies come out around sunset, but do go once it becomes dark m.

Visited another restaurant on Jimbaran Beach years ago and was turned off by the whole experience as the food was terrible. I’m glad I gave Made Bagus a chance this time as the food was delicious. Ordered package D and liked every item. The snapper (fish) was especially good. Do try it!

Delicious seafood on the beach. It looks quiet from the car park but most of the cafes were busy. The king prawns with garlic were beautiful and so was the whole red snapper. Only about 750k rupiah for 3 people with beer. I’d definitely return.

Dinner was mediocre. Paid over 1000,000 rp for 3 people which was a bit more than what we expected. They also charged tax, service fees and extra tax if paid by card.

Nyaman sekali tempatnya, makan seafood ditepi pantai. Makanannya juga enak2 tapi harga lumayan lah.
