Food was great, view was outstanding, staff could use a lesson in how to make it an amazing experience

This hotel is located in the most magical place with a view of the holy Gunung Agung from the beautiful garden with swimming pool, open meditation/yoga room and statues. Probably busy during the day with day tourists in the restaurant, but in the evening in serene tranquility. Staff not too friendly unfortunately (the only place in Bali where we encountered this) but the vibe makes up for everything. Also a perfect base for several activities such as rafting in the area. The quality of the food is also not top-notch, but it's okay. Open bathroom with frog and spiders because you are in the middle of the jungle here. Still, I would like to relax here for a few days!

This view! Impregnable. I came for lunch: buffet at a fair price (125k) and good without being exceptional. I recommend lychee tea. Perfect for a lunch break:)

This warung is really only of interest for the magnificent view of the valley and the rice fields.

Indeed the cuisine is rather average. It’s an all-you-can-eat buffet with tea or coffee included. It fills the stomach but that's all. It's not bad but nothing exceptional compared to other warung on Bali

So stop for a drink and enjoy the magnificent view, you don't have to eat their buffet meal

The view is the best.to the river, rice fields and the vulcano.the "ala card" Restaurant looks a bit cheap than the "all you can eat" Restaurant. Food is ok, staff ok.

The view truly is epic, but cannot say the same about food and its prices (21% taxes on top). Just not good: (
Unfortunately very disappointing and it kind of ruined my whole experience of the place.

Mahagiri Panoramic Resort & Restaurant merupakan salah satu akomodasi wisata di area karangasem dengan keunikan view hamparan sawah yang luas PLUS view gunung agung yang begitu gagah.

I had such a good stay in this hotel! The territory is well maintained, garden is beautiful. You feel pure nature in there - birds are singing, you feel and bear the wind, smell fresh air. Rooms are in good condition, clean, beds are comfortable:)
The view is fantastic, they also have a place to make yoga or meditate with the view on Agung! And the staff is extremely friendly!

This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy good food.

Location is absolutely beautiful and we had dinner overlooking rice gardens and the mountain. Truly breath taking.

Food was very delicious with a great selection from a great priced buffet including tea and coffee.

I also tried the Vietnamese drip coffee which was so good!

Perfect wat to relax after visiting waterfalls and temples in the area.

Buffet is a tourist trap. We were taken there by our local driver. The buffet selection is very limited and taste not good, too. Need to buy water even it’s buffet so it’s more expensive than you think. The view is good, right in front of rice field. I guess you should at least go A-la- carte if really want to go. It’s on the right side. Buffet is on the left side.

Beautiful place to visit. I stayed in the restaurant during my lunch time, great view for rice fields.

Stunning view of rice terraces and mt.agu ng in distance can be enjoyed from the restaurant. The food is yummy, all in this restaurant will make your day very special. I've been to this place for many times and still love to come again.

Harga Makan disini cukup terjangkau dan bisa nampung ratusan orang, suasana makan nya sejuk dan kalo cuaca cerah pemandangan lembah sekaligus gunung Agung bisa kita lihat.

These are photos taken from the restaurant I cannot express enough the fact that this has the most beautiful restaurant views, the most amazing ambiance I've ever been to in my life.
The buffet is amazing. Although there's not much to choose from, but it's only IDR 140,000 each person ($14AUD). Our Private tourist guide took us in here and I'm grateful he did.

I didn't stay here. While driving back to Ubud from Besakhi, we stumbled on this resort for a cup of coffee. The view from this resort looked stunning. I would love to go back and stay there for couple of days just to have enough of the view of Mt Agung from there. Staff looked very friendly and answered all queries regarding the resort.

All staff here in the restaurant is unreliable, when we came here, they told me they only have buffet, but actually they have menu, and the buffet, it cost 15 dollars person, and the food here is cold, only few things can eat here, but the menu is very cheap, they just cheat us, and when we found, they told us need to book before one day, but I saw lots of foreign came into without booking, they give them menu, so don’t go! They charged this soup for 6 dollars!
If you don’t want to leave any bad memories, please don’t go this restaurant again!

Untuk tarif penginapan, termasuk lumayan mahal dibanding penginapan sekitarnya. Tapi view yang ditawarkan memang sungguh luar biasa.

Jika cuaca cerah, pengunjung bisa santai dari Resto untuk menikmati pemandangan gunung Agung kelihatan dengan begitu megahnya.

I'm giving this two stars for the view, which is brilliant. The food was unacceptable for the price.

Who eats this type of food!? It’s like everything gone wrong. Like another girl said it’s like a bad Chinese restaurant with a nice view. Everything was cold and tasteless.

The resort is on the way to Besakih Temple and has an excellent view of Mt Agung. A good spread of food is served in buffet, which is reasonably priced. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian options are available. The resort has clean washrooms.

Tourist trap! Nice views of the rice field but the food is bad. They only had buffet style and it was expensive compared to the food we have been eating in Bali (plus a 21 percent service charge). Not recommended.

Very nice view of the rice terraces but tourist trap in regards to food. Buffet for IDR 121k was actually expensive as the variety of food was really limited. We had mie goreng with tempe, the most expensive one we've eaten. Some people around us ordered from a menu, but we weren't given that choice.

FOOD IS TERRIBLE, writing in capital, Please avoid this. Tour operators insist on coming here, high price, low qualityn Avoid at any cost
