Delicious food! We had the Chicken Katsu Curry, which tasted delicious. The Western choices - Chicken strips - also tasted delicious! Please note that this is a very small dish, but you pay accordingly compared to the rest. The Crème Brûlée is also recommended.

I enjoyed everything from appetizers to desserts. The nasi goreng was delicious! The atmosphere was nice as we were able to dine with a live performance.

Everything perfect, waitresses always attentive and available. Live music. Dishes of the highest level, in particular the sensational barramundi.
The desserts are also excellent, all perfect.
I would go back tomorrow!

We dined early with our 4yr old, so it was quiet but the food was well presented and full of flavour.

Food was very good, accompanied by an acoustic musician, very nice. Service is on point, nice interior design.

I had ordered fish and it was way too salty. Beef randang was a bit on the salty side as well. Presentation, service and atmosphere is great.

Tasty food, we ordered starters: shrimps (we asked to make them grill), tuna tartare, and seared tuna, everything tastes good, service is nice, I would recommend to visit

Lovely meal. I had the tenderloin steak with pepper sauce and my Waite had the nasi goreng (beef randeng) steak cook to perfection and rice dish was big enough. Only have 4 stars because of the mosquitoes. Although when a lady saw me swatting away she did bring a spray. I did forget to spray myself before we went out as I do attract mosquitoes more than anyone I know. So just be aware.

We were greeted but service isn't great. We made a reservation for 2 adults and 1 child at the KAFE. When we arrived the person mending the counter at the first level showed us to the table that was not suitable for us as it was more of a one sided bench table. When my husband asked if there were any other tables, the staff asked us to look for our own table at the 2nd level. We found our own table in the end.

Food wise it was okay. The Jamaican chicken and Jack fruit Mushroom dumplings were nice. The aglio olio and cashew nut curry weren't desirable - aglio olio was bland and cashew curry had a more soup consistency than a curry. The green spinach didn't even soak the curry. Certainly not a curry by Asian standards.

Barely tasted the coffee in the Mocha.

Definitely not recommending this place to anyone. For a mid-range restaurant, you're better off spending your money elsewhere.

Wonderful food, lovely staff, great service BUT payment can be difficult if done by credit card. Their credit card machine “has a weak signal” so may not work.

Take cash out before going because there isn’t a back-up system if card machine fails and staff aren’t aware of different atms in the area which makes the whole experience more difficult than it should be.

(I’m sorry to them that I was difficult but it was just a very frustrating situation!)

This is a fantastic restaurant the best i have tried so far in Ubud.not too stuffy or fancy but the food is as good as or superior to 'fine dining' at 40,000 for a big starter, and maybe 90000 for a main.amazing desserts at 40000.price wise its cheaper than fancy restaurants but food is superior.bintang = 35000.maybe bintang price kind of informs you?

Average service and slow in bringing out something as simple as nasi goreng. Especially when I was the only one in the restaurant. I’m probably not going to return. Just ok experience

I got everything I paid for, but not more. Solid four stars, maybe 4.2? I had the tenderloin. It was a tad too salty, and had a fishy aroma (no literally it smells of fish). It was good, but not what I ordered a steak for. The sauce was inspired by rendang and it was better on the fries than the steak. (If I wanted my beef to taste like rendang I would've ordered rendang, from another place). I also ordered the long island ice tea and it was nice.

Tenderloin steak was 99k, long island ice tea was 80k. Price is about average.

Delish! I had the Mee Goreng with kiffer lime crackers, fish tempura, and chicken satay. And plenty of dipping sauces. So yummy! They had live music. Lovely ambiance and comfortable seating. Service was good.attentive wait staff.

Still one of the best restaurants in ubud if not the best (for food). Good singer but a bit loud if you want to talk.

Only thing wrong was my boiled potato was not cooked in the middle.

The food was good but the service was really slow (not only for me but also for other guests) and people kept asking for missing things. I ordered Thai Curry and it came without rice? Strange.

Highly recommended. There are so many restaurants in Ubud but this was our favourite. Excellent food, service and entertainment.

Teach your waiters to speak to the man AND woman at the table. Just because I am a southeast Asian woman in appearance does not mean I shouldn't be acknowledged all evening and ignored by waitstaff who reached over me and boxed me out regularly to only address and my give eye contact to my white male partner. Absurd.
