For me, the pricing of food is not worth the taste and menu variation. It’s very tasty and kicking with too much flavour, mostly are spicy too.
Adult will spend 200-300k.

Visited here before for the first time on 2015 and it was a busy restaurant. Went here again on Jan 2024 on lunchtime, it’s very quiet even tho they expand the store.

Service is good, place is clean.

This is a place you go to in Seminyak, when you are looking to treat yourself/your partner, or have a special occasion - and boy do they deliver. ️

Yes it’s on the fancy side, but doesn’t come with painful prices. A little higher than most places? Sure. But the experience and quality is well worth it.

The food explodes with flavour, and is presented immaculately. Service is warm, kind, as you’d probably come to expect from the beautiful Balinese people. The restaurant is beautiful, new, modern - refreshing. Even down to the Insta-worthy cutlery and table wear.

A really fantastic experience, very glad we went. And best of all, can’t wait to go back!

Couldn’t fault it! Fantastic food (soft shell crab was incredible), great service and an energetic atmosphere.

Had lunch here during my birthdaymy husband and I enjoyed the food. Good tasty food, good ambience and very good set up. It is worth to try this restaurant when you visit Bali.

Deliciously seasoned and fresh food, along with the beautiful atmosphere and great service make this restaurant one of my favourites in all of Asia. Try the Wild Mushroom Salad, which is an explosion of flavour.

Mama San re-opened after the renovation with stronger and better everything. So this place is guaranteed crowd pleaser when it comes to Asian cuisine (predominantly Thai, Chinese).

The ambiance is super. It is just nice to drink at the bars either at the dining room or upstair lounge. The dining room is much bigger now yet it still feels cozy.

The service is prompt and pleasant with many staff has been working there a long time.

Highly recommended.

We had the 6 course menu husband & self!
Great food, but dishes not divided in 2 so difficult to serve yourself! Also dishes served too quickly one after the other.food very different from 1 dish to the next.need some palate cleanser between dishes.
Wine is very expensive, bottle would be cheaper.
Overall lovely service & decor.

Everything was perfect. Loved the pork belly and red curry fried rice, pork chop and chicken dumplings. Drinks were good, service was excellent and ambiance is givinggg

Untuk makanan berkualitas ini dengan tempat yang sangat bagus dan berkelas, harganya terbilang murah. Interior bagus. Pelayanan menyenangkan. Hanya saja minuman memang terbilang mahal. Tempat yang layak bagi orang yang suka makanan Asian fusion.

Ummm.first of all, I'm from Hong Kong and Chinese food is what I eat everyday. Come dine in if you fancy for westernized Chinese food.

Unique design. Unique taste. The staff was super friendly. The food was super tasty! (crispy soft shelled crab is yummmm) The best Asian restaurant in Bali without a doubt! A must visit!

Great spot to get out of the hustle and bustle. Nice food would visit again, they need a little more lighting inside or candles on the tables it's to dark to read the menu/ see what you're eating. Otherwise great food

Very well cooked food. The highlighted one (also must try) is "Dendeng balado" (wagyu short ribs beef) - amazingly slow cooked soft ribs with great sauce. I didn't like the "Cha La Lot" (shredded pork meat covered with Lot Leaf) because somehow the meat was not well shredded and it was full of muscle and fat pieces (which made it taste super weird). However, I still give 5 stars because the restaurant manager handled it very well by explaining properly and took the dish out of the final bill.

Love this place. Always make time to go here when I visit Bali! Be sure to book ahead just in case. Service is wonderful!

Came here as a family of 7, second time visiting this restaurant as part of this trip - would recommend booking ahead of time to avoid disappointment. The beef ribs in particular were incredible and the grilled honey and black pepper chicken! Great service too.

Definitely on the expensive side but the dishes, fusions, flavors are sublime. Would recommend to visit if you are looking for a nice place to go for a date. Might be best to reserve in advance as well because it is quite popular, especially for larger parties

For Sydneysiders, this is Bali' s very own Mr Wongs in Seminak. About a half hour taxi ride from Kuta. What a perfect night, from the warm greeting, magnificent food to the somewhat funky but exclusive styled decor
This place can quite rightly brag as being one of the few restaurants that are a 'must go' in Bali. The experience is memorable and delicious. We were 3 covers and ordered 2 entrees and 2 mains. For entree we can highly recommend the soft shell crab the the prawn dumplings were also, good however probably the least favoured of all our dishes. The crispy fish and beef cheeks randang for mains were out of this world.wow! All washed down with a wonderful pinot gris. The mains were followed by a lemon creme brulee and deep fried ice-cream with nutella.
Whilst this place is not cheap, it is well worth every cent. Highly recommend that you book at least 2 to 3 days in advance to ensure you get a table at a resonable time. We will be back.

Nice high ceiling space, the restaurant is in 2 level with see thru steel stairs accessed from two sides and a dark tone ambiance with huge portrait mural to complement the whole composition.
Food was great including presentation, that invokes gastronomical senses to another level. The only reason for 4 stars is the price, which is on the expensive side.
The crispy chicken dumplings were amazing, roasted duck with noodles was so so and green curry vegetables was great. The extra spicy level was just enough to perceive all different spices.
All in all I would go again for dinner this time.

Great ambiance and food in seminyak, bali.
The ambiance is just like a chic restaurant in Paris 11eme.
We had Karaage of Octopus with smoke chili mayo, Prawn dumpling with peanuts green shallot & Sichuan dressing for entree and Crispy gourami fish with kaffir lime ginger holy basil sweet chili & tamarind sauce, Chili prawns with Singaporean style paste with fried egg & mantau for dinner.
The food is really good, and the service is nice and professional.
I really want to visit again.

We first visited 3 years ago and this restaurant is always on our 'must visit' list. It is amazing. The staff are so well trained and knowledgeable, take direction from them. Prior to this last visit, 5 stars would have been the norm, however, there are a number of little things that have added up. Of the 4 dishes we had, 2 were out of this world great, the other 2 were good (before, all 4 would have been mind blowing). My husband dropped his fork on the floor and had to ask for a replacement (wouldn't have had to ask before as staff would have been right onto it). I love that the staff let you know when you've ordered too much, they are always right so heed their counsel. We are going again in a couple of nights so let's see if we simply choose the wrong 2 dishes or if this beautiful restaurant is indeed going downhill. I hope, with every fibre of my being, we simply chose the wrong dishes. Prices - yep, still high and I've always said worth it, not convinced now. Oh, please pay them the courtesy of a booking
UPDATE.we revisited a couple of nights later and MamaSan is far from going downhill Yes! We were completely blown away by the food, depth of flavours and the expected 'wow'. Love this place! Consult with your floor staff, they know their stuff This is a restaurant you must go to

I was served by Sandi who was brilliant. She recommended items on the menu and being allergic to shellfish she triple checked with the chef ingredients used that might have been an issue. Food and service was impeccable

I had a really good experience here having some lunch on a holiday in Seminyak. The staff were very attentive but not over bearing at all. The decor was brilliant. I was there before 1pm and only a handful of tables were taken in this quite large restaurant. However it was very busy by the time I'd finished my meal and that came as no surprise.

The food here was delicious. To start I had some prawn and scallop dumplings which were so fresh and tasty. Following on I had Hainanese Duck with rice, which came with 3 beautiful condiments as well as the broth and presented wonderfully in a tower which the waiter disassembled at the table. I had a side of Szechuan eggplant which was absolutely amazing. All that was washed down with a juice cold pressed to order, consisting of carrot apple and ginger. I would highly recommend it and will definitely return in the future.
