Monsieur Spoon Petitenget

Thank you for ruining my 55th birthday, MS Petitenget! The worst experience ever from entering the front door until we went out of the place, even until we moved to the next place to eat decent and proper lunch after being repeatedly dissapointed from litterally almost all of the aspects of the restaurant, except for the decoration which are so so if we ignored the uncleanliness (at first I was planning to post some pictures but I see that that does not mean anything to you since we are not the only ones who have the same experiences judging from the star 1 + complains you have without any real changes after months of complaining). So thank you once again and good luck.

Really beautiful and cute place. I didn't expect so much space from the outside. But it's still a bit expensive.

Ordered a mango smoothie and it wasn’t even a smoothie, it didn’t have milk nor yogurt so it was basically a juice then?
Then tried their Indonesian menu (kambing fried rice) and it wasn’t great, it didn’t tasted like a fried rice at all and the meat was chewy

Not very tasty food, terrible service. We had to wait 15 minutes before we could order and then 15 more minutes before we could pay. Total waste of time

Great food, very nice view to the rice fields. Atmosphere wonderful as well as service. Also the coffee consistently good.

I saw this cafe many times on several travel magazine, and popular sites. I was like, i think this place would be that great especially there are some branches around Bali area. So yeah. But after i tried by my own. I get disappointed. First of all the waitress wasn't that friendly. I came there about 8.30, and she said i have to order food immediately because they are going to close soon. Then while my partner enjoy his coffee (which is not that good) and i drank my kombucha (way more expensive than in other places) the waitress keep cleaning, and sweeping like giving sign that they are about to close. We were feeling they asked us to be hurry.

I don't get the hype about this place. Croissant wise they're not better than Bali Bakery's. Service is worse than Bali Bakery, another place which differentiate service level between Caucassian (nicer) and Asian (less nice).

Croissant and pain au chocolat are amazing.if you ask for a juice, make sure you specify fresh juice!

Best place to have me time. Just having a cup of coffee or chit chat with your friends. Nice place to spend your day off

Reasonable price, great coffee and croissant. Unfortunately when I got there, the cake I was about to order was finished. The staff should smile more:)

Good croissants and better fruit salads.
Cheap, like everything in Bali.
You'll find it in Seminyak and Ubud.
It's not what you'd would call local.

Nice and cozy place to have a break with rice paddy fields. Moreover, they have really good pastries and bread. It's definitely my favorite place:)

The best croissant in the area! Love the vast variety of their pastries, breakfast/brunch food and drinks.

Well worth the price, not as expensive as other places around Seminyak/Petitenget area.

Can be packed in the morning but they have outdoor seating as well so don't worry.

I had their hot chocolate, french toast and chocolate tart, everything was delicious! Cute and cosy place and the outdoor sitting area had a great view of a rice field!

Beautifully decorated and ambient, with wonderful outdoor garden seating overlooking the rice fields. Unfortunately what let's Mr Spoon down is the food which always leaves me a little disappointed. The cappuccino is usually served in a soufflé dish which means that it cools too quickly. Plain croissants are very good, but almond croissants always seem to be burnt.

Love the place. Great view. Dont like the coffee, but home made jam, baguette and croissant are to die for.
