Mulia Resort - Nusa Dua, Bali

Great hotel, rooms are big and comfortable!
The breakfast and dinner were very delicious, with meals from 9 countries!
The pool is so relaxing!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights for my buddy's wedding. The Mulia is quite an expansive resort, and everything is top notch. Tons of pools, extremely nice rooms, a nice clean beach, seemingly endless bar and restaurants on property, an absolutely incredible gym, numerous unique little wedding venues, and delicious food.

Special shout out to Eva on staff at the breakfast buffet (which is an international smorgasbord of absolutely incredible food). He found out it was our anniversary while serving us our morning coffee and took it upon himself to prepare a special Balinese breakfast dessert for us to try. It was quite delicious, and we 100% would have missed it if not for him.

We'd absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much for a great start to our vacation and for giving my buddy an amazing wedding locale.

We stayed at 'The Mulia' and had access to Mulia Resort and the Mulia villa facilities - all of which were wonderful, but we especially loved the calmness of The Mulia.
We booked the Baron suite which had an outdoor jacuzzi and was spacious, very quite and perfect. Despite the luxury, what set the place apart was the service, which was both attentive and flawless! Having travelled a fair bit, this is easily our best 5 star resort stay - we were actually a bit hesitant about Bali, but this place changed our minds - everything was prestine! Can not wait to return next year

We had an amazing experience at Mulia. From the moment we were collected at the airport by the lovely staff, right through to the little personal touches along the way.
We accidentally left behind a hand luggage at the airport and we notified the Mulia staff. We came to the conclusion that the suitcase is gone.
Believe it or not, the management team at Mulia used their exceptional skills and tracked the suitcase down to exactly where we misplaced it and had it delivered to our villa as we came back from their entertaining afternoon tea!

We were absolutely blown away at the care, attention to detail, the personal touches and much much more that we experienced as a family during our stay.
It was our daughter's 1st visit to Bali & we were greeted by a personalised unicorn made from stones for her, as well as pink macarons and pink lollipops (for personal touches) inside the villa. She felt like a princess and loved it!

We wanted to take the the bed and pillows back home with us, it's honestly by far the best sleep we've had in a long time.

You can't go wrong by chosing Mulia, you're really getting everything you pay for and it is worth it!

You are treated like family when you stay at Mulia, all the way from the GM Adam right through to all their support staff.

Everything about the place is perfect, the landscape, the pools, the staff, the views and the list goes on.

We can't wait to visit Bali and stay at Mulia next year.

The lobby and swimming pool are spacious, comfortable, cool and luxurious. The lunch buffet is also reasonably priced, and if you dip the cheese man in condensed milk, you won't be able to eat other food.

We stayed in Zamria.
The rooms and grounds are well maintained and very clean. There are flowers everywhere and they look great for photos.
The staff are friendly and make your stay stress-free. There aren't many Japanese people here, but I highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel area, very friendly staff, super pleasant guests in the hotel. We will be back!

We stayed in a 1 bed Villa Oceanview for my sons 3rd Bday. The Mulia Villas has its own pool garden and outdoor setting with full privacy. It also had a spa. We had an amazing time relaxing and enjoying the Villa. Its peaceful private and had beautiful gardens. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The breakfast had everything and more the afternoon high tea came with endless alcohol drinks. But most importantly the butler service that looked after us during our 5 nights made us feel welcome comfortable and so at home. I would like to thank staff within the hotel also for giving us the best hospitality experience we have ever received. I highly recommend to anyone who loves Villas or wants to try Villa accomadation. The Mulia is the best of the best. We will never forget our amazing time at this hotel. One of the best resort to stay in Bali. Great resort, great food with friendly and helpful staff. We were made very welcome especially by Alfig, Mawan and Weli who patiently served us and be our friends. We will surely be back.

Fantastic service from the staff and good value for money. The pools, cabanas and private beach made for fantastic views and enjoyment. Would definitely go there again.

Beautiful, peaceful, private, and very luxurious villa/resort in Nusa Dua. We stayed in a villa with private pool, gazebo, and jacuzzi inside. You can see Nusa Dua beach from the main lobby villa or the restaurant lobby. Generally, the service was excellent. I'm having a good time here

While I didn't stay there. Just visited the beach bar/restaurant walking from the beach, the service was OK. Not excellent but ok. I appreciated that the security guarding from the beach area was friendly and welcomed me to the resto/café. Got different experience at the next door resort St. Regis. As I was only a visiting guest, they were not very welcoming and practically kicked me out. The uncle invited me in. While I could not use the lounging chairs or pool facilities, it was nice to enjoy a refreshing drink by the beach.

Service at the resto is ok, but can certainly improve. Other attendants and front staff however were friendly and helpful. The hotel is partially open only, not all rooms and facilities are avanoe during the pandemic.

Service is really inhumane.guests who dine without staying at mulia are discriminated and the service is very condescending.highly not recommend

This place is really great, the service pretty good, the best place to spend your holiday and relaxing.everything is magnificent.especially the food is really really great.

The hotel area is scenic & vast! Half of the 30 hectares of Mulia Bali is dedicated to Mulia Villa (the rest is for Mulia Resort & The Mulia Hotel). So for the transport going to & from the room we have to call for the electric buggy (golf cart). Fun ride for the adults, the more for kids!

They really pay attention to the privacy aspect. They won't make up the room if we don't ask for it. But their regular schedule is twice a day, supervised by the butler. They have 24 hours butler & buggy service at our beck & call. So it's perfectly suitable for the honeymooner or couple. Not to mention the in-room jacuzzi, private pool, patio. Very relaxing!

The drinking water supply is unlimited. Six medium bottles per room & they can freely send additional ones on demand. Also they change the used towel everyday without asking.

The free wifi is limited for 3 gadgets under the same username. But if you are not staying alone, you can have 3 more gadgets connection using his/her username.

The breakfast? You have 3 options: buffet at The Cafe (one of the best buffet in Bali!) @ Mulia Resort, and a la carte at The Living Room @ Mulia Villa or The Lounge @ The Mulia. Also you will get free afternoon tea with small buffet at The Living Room or The Lounge. Same menu set, you can choose between Indonesian or Classic, but different venue. The Living Room is more quiet with garden view. The Lounge is more crowded with ocean view. We don't need to buy additional foods there coz our stomachs are full all the time! Eat breakfast from 7 to 11 AM, then afternoon tea from 4 to 6 PM, and just skip lunch & dinner altogether.

The shortcoming, if any, is the room setup. We can't enjoy the room TV because it's not facing the bed. Also there's no electric plug outlet near the bed, making it rather cumbersome to charge our gadgets all night.

The best place that I've had so far. This is my first time going to Bali and Mulia Villas is my best recommendation to enjoy the serenity.

Love the hotel, the pool, the services and the decorations but I don't like the hotel's policies. This is a 5 stars hotel but you have to pay for parking from 12 noon till 12 night. Other than that is free. WTH. It's either you want to give it all for free or charge per hour. Dont't give half and half. Other nice hotels don't charge for parking at all. Rent small floaties for rp. 180.000? The big one is ok but for the small one.come on. I rented 2 small floaties, I could buy a new one. Had to rent them cause my kids wanted them. And tea time in the villas only for two? So the rest of the gang has to leave? Eating at Table8 can not wear rubber flip flop.ok that's fine cause we are in Bali right. Have to wear neat attire:) This is my first time here and one time coming and staying here is enough. My suggestion, if you want to have fun here, follow all the rules and don't complaint.

Probably the worse hotel experience we have ever endured! From day 1 things were not great, lethargic unfriendly staff greeted us with no warmth. Uninviting sterile environment, no Signage anywhere, so many rules, the security stared at you and watched your every move, the prices for everything were exorbitant no real care or respect shown to us the staff walk around like they don't want to be there, we feltso isolated here and uncomfortable the whole time, after we checked in we read reviews from other people and they had experienced similar things,
Advice to anyone thinking of staying here. DON'T! Stay at the Sofitel or St Regis as this place won't give you much except the same old response don't bother complaining as they don't care at all, never ever again! Bye Felicia.

Mulia resort is very clean, luxurious, beautiful and peaceful. However it is also inconvenient. Mulia has a very nice beach, multiple large pools with beds always available and a well equipped gym. There are 4 restaurant options which serves good quality but expensive food in rather small portions. The hotel is inconveniently located away from shops and other restaurants and the hotel lacks a convenience store. Also, remember to bring a proper credit card as the hotel prefers deposit in local currency. I would consider other options with more easy access to shops and alternative restaurants next time I am in Bali

My advise if you plan to go to Bali is to stay away from the Mulia. Yes, the grounds are beautiful and the staff is friendly, but this is true about most of the resorts on the island. We had nothing but headaches with the booking process. I was ready for issues at check-in so I came with all
of the correspondence I had with the hotel. They were very polite and offered me a free dinner. But what was promised and what was offered on their flyers were totally different. My advise is DON"T book the Mullia.

The famed resort lives up to its reputation. Stayed at the Mulia Villas and the service and room was IMPECCABLE. The various restaurants they had (tried Table8 and Soleil) were masters in their choice cuisines - Chinese and Mediterranean. Not to mention, the buffet I had at The Cafe was truly spectacular - boasting delectable delights from Japan, China, the West and Bali. More intriguing was the amount of choices they provided for each station - they had 6 types of honeys for your bread and cheese. This is a MUST VISIT for anyone who wishes to pamper themselves to no end.

That one star is for a spa, it took us an hour just to get the final price and the availability, first the pricing, I’ve never seen any spa charging an additional price for using facilities even when u have a treatment, more than that, the steam room, the ice room and the sauna each charged separately!

Once we figured who will go to the ice room and who to steam room and who will use both, I asked to sell me a scrab because I wanted to use it in the sauna, another 15 minutes and someone comes and says I’m not allowed to use scrab in the sauna, at wich point I reached the boiling point and stormed out of the place, horrendous experience instead of relaxing and enjoying myself.

5 star luxury at its best. Fantastic restaurants, rooms, pools and bars. Staff are so friendly snd have looked after our every need. Highly recommended.

Our family stay at the Mulia Villa, and I got seriously ill, so we bought it to the attention of Adam Bardetta, Resident Manager who was light on the truth and didn't want to accept any responsibility. The most unprofessional, uncaring manager from any resort. It is clear it is about the money and not the guests. Once you leave there is no love from the Mulia. I supplied medical evidence to Adam who decided his qualifications were higher than a doctor's and then he completely ignored it so don't expect any acknowledgment or honesty from this manager. He has no integrity. Frank
Adam - your dishonesty is still continuing. On our first letter we told you we never had lunches as we took bread rolls etc from the breakfast buffets so the facts you are looking at in your fabrications are a joke. People be aware. There is no integrity as we only ate at the Mulia and no where else but you keep ignoring the fact that you do have a hygiene problem. You would never be honest enough to admit that other people got sick either because this is not how you operate. Frank

Satu"nya Hotel bintang lima di bali yang parkirannya bayar. Entah manager atau owner hotelnya yg serakah. Udah harga hotel mahal, costumer masih harus bayar parkir.

Stayed 5 nights. Beautiful hotel, excellent room and food was good.
Let down was the slow service, and somewhat ridiculous 'rules', there was one experience where there was no staff nearby that I could see and I sat on a lounger while waiting for my partner, I was fully clothed and not swimming, we were on our way elsewhere, and was reprimanded immediately as there was no towel? This was not pleasant and I didn't appreciate the tone, as I could not see any staff, and there were no towels in my proximity. It was strange to say the least.
Having stayed in other 5 star resorts in Nusa Dua where the service has been impeccable and faultless, I would probably choose to return to those over the Mulia in the future.

This is the best 5 star hotel in nusa dua bali.the room is big & very clean.so many facilities in this room, the one that i never forget is "the smart closet", this closet can open automatically, spray water or gas on 3 different spot, and warm stand.the hotel facilities are very complete & enjoyable.swimming pool (there are so many pool in this hotel), gym, sauna, jacuzzi, spa, private beach, cafe/resto, wedding chapel, etc.the staff are friendly, and very safe.there are some security on each level/floor outside room.the lobby is very big, many receptionist & staff are stand by in lobby.for meals (expecially breakfast) are very delicious & have so many variant, from asian food until western food, they are available.absolutely very recommended hotel, & i promise to come back again!

We visited this hotel when we stayed in Bali, Nusa Dua. We did not stay but heard from our driver that it is one of best hotels in the world. We visited the hotel. The modern, Japanese boasty style wasn't up to my liking but the hotel was still good. There were many fountains and waterworks round resort. Eateries and make long story short resort was empty! Food was excellent and service was good. Electric lavatories which I was shocked at but still everything good. Definetely recommend to use facilities. Although you have to stay at hotel to use pool, we pretended we booked room and were allowed to use hotel facilities. Try.
