If I could give more than 5* I would. Twice now I’ve visited Nusa Lembongan and had intermediate surf lessons with NewBro. My favourite surf breaks in all of Bali with the best surf instructors around. They’re all pro surfers who love what they do, excellent teachers (I always learn so much), always make sure you get lots and lots of waves, and most importantly, they make it so fun! Thank you my friends

The snorkeling tour was a bit disappointing. In theory there were 3 stops (manta rays, coral and turtles). At the first one where we supposedly had to see the mantas, we arrived and without even letting us jump into the water, they told us that they had not seen mantas there for 3 weeks and that if we wanted to see them we had to go to another place a little further away and we had to pay 100,000 rupees more (the tour cost 250,000). This way of trying to charge more seemed like a scam to us, for that it is better that they charge you from the beginning. Oh and they decided to skip another stop because the water wasn't clear. Very unprofessional…

The best crew, guides are so knowledgeable of the surf break, all staff are very friendly and kind and the whole experience is just so worth it! Could not recommend These guys enough

BEST SURF CAMP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!

Having taken surf lessons in France, Portugal, Sri Lanka, etc this was by far the best experience I have ever had

The Student to teacher ratio was 1: 3 and and the small groups allowed to cater to all skill levels. The advice given was hands-on and super helpful, I have improved my surf as much as never before. Balon particularly was just the best teacher! Vibes in the water were super friendly and not too crowded. Surf forography was included in the prices as well, and the whole school is run by locals.

The reef break provides consistent high-quality waves for all skill levels jn crystal clear water - never had such nice waves!

The surf camp included 5 day surf lessons, a free scooter, an incredible snorkelling trip, accommodation, 1.assage and 3x yoga. Yoga was at yoga bliss, an lovely yoga school in walking distance.

10/10 would recommend! Best experience in Indonesia so far

We did a course today with newbro it was PERFECT! The crew super nice, all the equipement, board and shirt are new or in really good shape! If you want to surf go there you will not regret!

Best surf board rentals on the island. I was looking for a mid-size board and they have lots of options. When you find one you like, rent it for a few days otherwise the lessons will get priority on board picks if you’re going out on your own. Highly recommend getting reef botties as well.

Best surf camp I’ve ever been to. Best teachers, perfect surf spot for begginers and intermediates, also advanced will find their waves here. The camp was very well organised, we had a lot of acivities. The acomodation was very close to the beach.
Thanks to the very good teachers and video analysis we did every afternoon I could see my progess and I didn’t expect that it will be so huge! We had so much fun! Thanks guys!

We spend two great days with the guys from NewBro and leaned a lot about surfing. It was so much fun and we could see good improvements with the valuable tips from our teachers.

In my option NewBro was the most professional surf school I’ve ever been to and I would definitely recommend to attend a few (at least two ;) surf lesson here. No matter if beginner or advanced, they were able to improve everyone’s surf levels a step further.

Definitely NEWBRO surfing Nusa Lembongan is the place to go, either for rentals or surfing lessons.
These guys do know what they’re doing for sure. Very honest and the prices are reasonable.
I did myself rent a surfboard from them and they were very helpful, giving me the right information about the spots and all I needed to know before going out.

One of the best surf schools in Bali!

I've gone to various surf schools and no doubt I learnt the most from these guys!

Most surf schools will just give you a boost in the water and shout when to stand up with not much guidance on your technique.

These guys go into detail about how to improve your technique, they have various things to help you before the lesson (balance balls, one-to-one guidance, exercises etc.) and give you constant guidance in the water and explain how to handle different waves / scenarios in the water.

You also get photos of your lesson which is super helpful to understand what you're doing wrong or right!

The breaks are pretty consistent in this area and they'll drive you out to the best one that day.

They managed to get me from rarely standing up on a softboard to (almost) consistently standing up on a hardboard without any help (boosting) in 5 lessons.

They are also super friendly and fun.  Big thanks to my instructor Lowlek for being so patient with my slow / unbalanced self!

Loved learning how to surf here! I can definitely recommend coming to Newbro for surfing classes.

Spent the weekend with new bro and had an absolute blast.not only are the surfing instructors absolutely phenomenal. The activities arranged by Wayan are amazing! Can definitely recommend and I will come back for more classes <3

We send our boys (11yo&13yo&10yo cousins) with NewBro every time we come to Nusa. They are brilliant! Kids always love it, learn so much more about surfing AND we get great photos after for no extra cost. Can’t recommend them enough!

This surf school is awesome for beginners and intermediate surfers! They are super professional and welcoming from start to finish. Definitely recommended if you`re in Lembongan.

The Newbro guys are amazing! I've had a lot of surf coaches in Bali and they are up there with the very best. Very well organized, good quality boards, great teaching area, seamless communication. Flexible transport to and from our villa. Best part was the coaches, all were super fun and skilled. Bulan was hilarious:) Our big family group did 4 days with them and they were super at building confidence for the newbies, and also gave really targeted feedback to intermediates to help us progress. I actually had my best day surfing yet with them! Also, lacerations is such a fun wave. Highly recommend!

Wayan and his team are the best! We surfed with Loxy and it was so much fun - we got to learn a lot from him within just a couple of days! On our last day we also did the private snorkeling tour which was incredible as we got to swim with several turtles and even manta rays. So grateful for this 10/10 experience

Could not have asked for a better introduction to surfing Indo. Guides are top level with so much local knowledge. You are always in great hands and they will help you find so many great waves for whatever experience level you are at. We had the best week surfing everyday and already miss the great company in the surf and will be back for more

After a late and bumpy start, we were a bit nervous we signed up for a class that was not worth our money. Well, happily we were wrong!
Firstly, once we got to the platform our teacher apologised for all the late and messy beginning which meant the world to us. After that, the beginner class was not only a lot of fun but had amazing structure and information. This was so much fun, I would do it again in a heartbeat and would recommended to absolutely anyone that went to Lembongan!

Wow amazing experience with NewBros, complete beginners they took great care of us and our kids surfing. They also arranged scooters and snorkeling trips for us. We will go back again for sure!

Super surf with Newbro!

We went to Lembongan and stayed there for about 2 weeks.

We were recommend to try surfing with Newbro by our friend. And what a great suggestion it was!

I’m an experienced surfer and went to Lembongan to try to get some barrels. Lacerations is quite challenging spot, especially when you going for barrels.

Going with Wayan from Newbro was such a bless! He is certainly one of the best surfers and teachers out there. He knows the spot well, puts you in the right spot. And after a few tries I was actually able to get my first set of barrels! Every surfer dream!

Thanks to Wayan and Newbro, definitely recommend and happily will be back for more barrels!

Love newbros! Our family & friends spent 10 days on the surf with this team. The teachers had great range of energy & personalities. From the sage, wise, yogi Wayan, to Mellow and rad Made to Crazy energetic Belong. I cant wait to come back.

Great surf school, they took great care of us and even let us store our boards in their gudang to save us some hassle. Highly recommend.

Wayan and Made did a great job during our surfing lesson. We both learned a lot and got many chances to practice. We were complete beginners but Wayan broke the process down for us step by step, first at the Newbro shop and then again in the water before we started to try with waves. The result was great—we felt comfortable and confident when we did start trying to surf for real, even if we weren’t always successful. Wayan was encouraging and extremely helpful with practical tips and advice throughout.

They also set us up with a snorkeling trip and helped arrange the transportation to and from the ferry. It was a great experience all around! Thanks Newbro!

Can I give 6 out of 5? Newbro was fantastic! I did the 3 day beginner class and advanced each day thanks to the instructor's skills and knowledge. Very fun group of guys to learn from and had me catching my own waves! Ask for Balong & Loksi

Highly recommend Newbro Surfing for very responsive and professional staff. Picked up from the hotel, chose several boards to have different options, professional security and surfing tips. Would love to have more time to practice surfing at Lembongan spot with Newbro!:)

I never surfed before and tried my first surfing experience with Newbro. It was really good! The instructor was very helpful and friendly. Strongly recommend it.

I have just spent 5 weeks in Lembongan and went out with these guys about 12 times. They are such a friendly and happy bunch. Always laughing and super helpful. The lessons were great with a very small teacher to student ratio, and they sent pictures of us surfing after each session. The teachers are very knowledgeable and want everyone to enjoy themselves and to surf. Every trip we became a big family all cheering each other on. Highly recommended. Thanks Balon, Maday & Robot

These guys are legit! We did 4 days of surf lessons with the Newbro crew and had a lot of fun while learning - we got up first time! The team are really supportive, gave constructive feedback when necessary and encouraged every single person, no matter what level they were at. Definitely pat these guys in the back, they basically go out every single day doing the same thing but still show a lot of enthusiasm while making sure you have fun.

We went with Newbro for our snorkeling trip and had the BEST time.

We didn’t want to do a whole tour. We enjoy doing things in our own time and figuring out the best places to go to. After being pushed into doing a tour and after talking to another company who was trying to rip us off doing a private snorkeling trip, we stumbled upon Newbro last minute and met with Arizona (which is his last name).

He was AMAZING! We were actually late to the boat but he got us on anyway and made the trip extremely enjoyable. He also didn’t push us into purchasing anything extra. He just peacefully offered to us if we wanted to have lunch with them and do the mangrove boat ride to let him know. Either way it was ok.

The guys that he worked with were great too. They took us to all of the best snorkeling spots and it was just an incredible trip. We felt super appreciative and wanted to leave this review for them.

If you are looking for a snorkeling adventure, even if it’s a big tour package, we HIGHLY recommend Newbro!

The guys at Newbro are super nice and dedicate their time fully to the students (no surfing on their own). However, our intermediate surf lesson experience was not worth the money for two reasons:
a) we did not get a briefing for surfing at a reef or about the specifics of the spot we went to (I.e. Currents), even though we were told specifically that’s part of it. This made it very difficult to know where to go and how to behave to not get stuck in currents / get washed on the reef.b) we were 4 students per guide and not 3 as promised. After asking they said the fourth person was a friend not a guest, but they still gave her full attention and service, ergo less time to look after the other three less experienced ones that actually paid for the service.

2 stars because they were nice and they helped my gf to paddle back to the boat against the current.

We booked a private snorkeling tour with the family. Visited some fantastic reefs, swim with Manta Rays, had lunch at the Warung Mangrove in great surroundings and finished with a Mangrove Tour. Captain Jack and Arizona were great hosts, they have a great boat and good quality equipment. Arizona took my youngest daughter from scared to pro in one day. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing surf experience with NewBro! Did a two-day surf package, which contained 2x2,5 hours of instructing and surfing. Great staff, very helpful and made a lot of improvements on my surf skills thanks to them. They look at the weather forecasts, the level of the attendants and the waves of choose the best place and time to surf. This helped a lot and creates the possibility to make the most out of it! Their English is very good, which makes it easier to communicate. Would definitely recommend

We had an amazing snorkeling and mangroves tour visit here yesterday! The staff (Arizona especially!) was super friendly and helpful, the snorkeling was awesome, lunch was filling and the mangroves tour was so relaxing. It was also very affordable and you can take solace in the fact that this business is locally owned and operated! Worth every penny!

Great experience first time surfing the reef at Lacerations, coach was really helpful, best surf I’ve had yet

These guys are awesome. Very fun, yet very safety conscious. We had a beginners lesson to refresh our "skills". Starts on shore with the basics of technique and safety.

Then on to the boat to the reef break. Only ever surfed shore break before. Pretty exciting. The sun was out, the water was amazing. I think we were at the Lacerations break.

The surf was great, like so great. Our instructor, Loxy, was the best. Cool guy with easy teaching manner. Caught more waves than I can remember.

Be prepared to be tired, exhausted and sore. It is worth it. One of the best experiences had on the island.

These guys were fantastic! We had such a blast with private surf classes with Wayan, Robot and Loxy. They know the waves so well (surfing the waters since kids) and pick them so well for your ability. Highly recommend them for all skill levels (you can even just rent and go out on the boat with them). My girlfriend and I both really improved during our 5 lessons with them (going from soft board to hard board and using smaller boards). They’re also a really fun bunch, really chilled out and flexible. We also did a great snorkelling trip seeing manta rays with an afternoon in Nusa Penida!
