One of the worst indian restaurants outside india. Paneer tikka masala was a shame on itself while tomato soup was emiting pukeworthy smell and taste was awful. Garlic naan was so bad flat and no fluff and such small size. Rice was ok and so was dal. Pricing is also on the higher side.this is the restaurant in the core hotel.there is no way to reply to owners reply here so editing the review to make it clear.
One will love this place if he / she loves and craves for Indian delicacy. Even samosa is available here in Bali at this place. We were a group of 7 people and ordered almost all Indian varieties. Believe me, all tasted as good as we have those in India.
Quality and quantity of the food was really great. Don’t miss the dessert, it was free from preservatives and sugars. Worth it! We hope that this place can maintain the consistency and authenticity of the Indian food. Good luck
Seemed pretty run down, I'm not sure if it was because there was some construction going down or something else but I felt we were in middle of something. Excusing this atmosphere food looked fine but there were bugs in the food. They didn't bother to care for ingredients is little too far. Their listing also shows under vegetarian somehow but know that it's not. They have plenty of nonveg items too.
Loved the place! Beautiful ambience, superb and delicious food. We had adrak chai, samosa and chola bhatura. So satisfying. Beware of the copied restaurants.
The one thing which i like most about this restaurant is that they offered us water as I never seen this culture in other Indian restaurants in Bali.
Talking about the food which was very delicious.
1. Chilly paneer was very good in taste especially paneer was of good quality. 2. Makhani daal was ok, not like typical Indian taste. 3. Butter Roti and Aloo parantha was properly baked and crispy.
Overall had a great experience, must visit if you are visiting Bali.
The food is truly amazing, so delicious. We've been there 6 times during our stay in Bali, very friendly staff and great service. I highly recommend. I'll miss your butter chicken
Nice place, nice foods, nice service. We are very satisfied and happy to get meal here. The service from staffs are good and awesome. Extremely great reastaurant.
I really liked the taste of the food here. The service was really good. We tried paneer and roti which was accurately cooked. Overall a good experience
The food was amazing, staff are lovely and the owner is extremely helpful. The best part is the mainly vegan menu. I feel the ambiance is sadly lacking, especially in Bali where everything is so beautiful. Would Definately go again.
Decent food, nothing too great - we went here on the basis there were many reviews from actual Indian people and not made up bots like some restaurant reviews.
Upon arrival we were seated on a table which we had quickly noticed was quite unclean - there was curry on the floor and a few hairs on chairs!
We were further disappointed to be told that they don't do poppadoms with chutney's - probably the first Indian restaurant I've been to that doesn't offer this. We decided to order chilli paneer & papdi chaat for starters, followed by butter chicken, garlic naan and their ashoki mutton curry for mains.
The chilli paneer was decent although it had a slight hint of an almost tabasco sauce in it which was slightly unusual to say the least. The papdi chaat was really nice!
Onto the mains - the butter chicken wasn't so much of a butter chicken, regardless of this it was pretty nice - the gravy was more of a homemade curry rather than a thick creamy buttery gravy.
The naan bread was more of a roti - was very thin and had no garlic flavour to it. The mutton curry was returned as all 3 pieces I had put on my plate were full of fat which was off-putting to say the least. The waitress was courteous enough to offer to take this back and remove this from the bill without us even asking, which is always a nice thing!
Overall we left quite hungry, we hope this was just an off day as the reviews seem very genuine - unfortunately for us we couldn't say we had the same experience!
The food was great and the owner himself was very good and offered us tea. You can even get Jain food here. Kitchen is also separate for veg and non veg.
Great environment with perfect light tasty spiced food that one is after. It was a casual visit at first but now my go to BEST INDIAN JOINT in Nusa Dua. Keep up the great work Team (not to mention u do have great staff & chef present) - god bless you all
Best place to have authentic indian food in bali. Must visit if u want great Indian food. After searching for 2 days found this gem of place. It contains a pvt pool too. Great ambiance.
They literally bring the north indian taste to Bali. Food was really Good samosa was not good. But over all paratha and chole bhature was wonderful and feels like cooked at home. Must try swadisht khana.
Food taste. But they cheat us. In the menu for Kulfi ice cream they showing photo big ice cream in a cup. But they serve us very small ice palam, saying photo in the menu's one not available. Finally they charged same high price for small one. That ice cream not value for the money. Verry unreasonable. Not recommended to go there.
We dined 2 days ago and food was fabulous. So we returned for lunch today and it was below average this time. Food tasted stale n sour and there were some groups and the staff was busy and lost too. I wish they maintain the standards at all times otherwise so many indian restaurants options in the same row.
Worst food. Very expensive. Ordered butter chicken, dal tadka In butter chicken they have added chicken Tikka pieces. Pathetic Dal tadka is worst. Not recommended, Lot of other restaurants near by. Stay away with this
Excellent North Indian food. Everything we ordered was good- butter roti was soft, the chicken Tikka was flavorful, the chicken pulao was excellent & so was the sweet lassi.
One of the best restaurant in Nusa Dua, Bali for Indian food. Delicious food & the food quality was like home, Staff was amazing. The best thing the Owner was so kind and helpful. Please Must Visit!
The food is awesome. Very nice owner and staff members and the only restaurant we experienced in bali where we were offered water before having food as in India. Thank you sir for the bottle of pickle you packed for us along with our lunch. The taste of it and your caring nature will always be remembered by all of us in our team.
Don’t even have to think twice to visit this restaurant. I was very skeptical at the beginning because of couple of misleading reviews. This place in fact actually serves authentic Indian food in this area and if you’re staying at Benoa this place is perfect for your dinner plan.
Indian food in Nusa Dua. You have couple of options other than this. We went in as they were serving south indian food as well. Tried both south and north indian dishes. Food was tasty. Service was good with little waiting time. They claim to have a separate vegetarian kitchen as well. Good option for vegetarians. A bit pricey though
All foods are very nice specially chole bhature, you will feel like you are having in delhi! Overall very nice experience! And must visit place for vegan!
It was a Great and frendly Experience with the NU Delhi, Having a Lunch with chola Batra was amazing, , , It is a one of the Best Restautrant in Nusa dua.
Excellent food. For vegetarians this is a very good place to eat. Hindustani khana inko samajh aata Hai the owner is also Indian. I liked the authentic Indian flavours. Difficult to get Indian vegetarian food in Bali. This place you must go to for staple breakfast lunch or dinner.
Cosy place, delicious food and amazing staff. We had a birthday dinner there, and the friendly ladies found a spare candle to congratulate my best friend. Thank you!
Service and food is amazing. Great place for back home food they make Jain food from the menu! Mum is loving it! I heard they are trying and bring new things out can’t wait to see on the menu! Please try the fresh lime soda (sweet) brings back memories went I was in Mumbai!
Well, they call it indian, while the food names are Indian, the taste and the feel I got was different. Ordered gobi manchuri with gravy, well got something that looked like gobi in a soup.they used lots of oil. Taste was ok, costly.
Good indian food at nusa dua. I am vegetarian n finding veg food is difficult in bali but this restaurant offers veg indian food and also with great taste plus u hear hindi punjabi songs here
One of the best restaurant in Bali. Food was superb, delicious with good hygiene. I personally met to owner and he was very focused towards improvement and quality.
You can find Indian taste there but bit expensive and also quantity is low. Been to many Indian restaurant at Bali they have bit high prices as compared to other similar restaurants in all ways. Cheers!
