OK Divers Resort & SPA, Padangbai

The location is good if you have to take the boat to the Gilis Islands the rooms are ok the service too.
The hotel specializes in diving. For clients like me, I enjoyed the spa and the catering. But there is no other activity or town around. This is a preferred hotel for the port towards the islands

Came for the restaurant

+ Excellent fried bananas and jackfruit
+ Good barracuda steak

- Very slow service

We stayed one night with my husband before heading to the islands.
The hotel is very well placed for that (literally 3 minutes on foot with suitcases!).
The rooms are clean, contrary to other comments notifying them of being noisy, this was not the case for us, perhaps because we were on the top floor and in low season?
The staff is accommodating, providing us with towels and amenities in the event of a late departure after check out.
Breakfast is served as a buffet, the quantities are reasonable, it is useful but is not extraordinary.
The spa is good, the masseuse is pleasant, too bad (25 minutes of service out of the 30 paid twice)
We recommend this hotel if you are passing through Padang Bai with departure for the islands. In terms of value for money, it's the best.

Perfect hotel if you’re diving or waiting for the ferry to Gilly T like we were. 10 ft from loading dock.

Get a massage! My wife and I loved their Balinese massage. And their made to order breakfast included was very good.

Spent 9 days diving at this resort and had an amazing time. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to do their open water course, or just do some fun dives. The instructors and all the staff are all excellent and professional, was in very safe hands.

Súper close to the ferry I came in from Gili T. Room was perfect. Comfy bed. Two pools and places to store/dry wetsuit and gear when you walk in or in the room. I think restaurant is open later around 10pm. Walked to blue lagoon about 8 mins away. Tons of taxis if you need one to Ubud or anywhere!

It is located directly opposite the marina. The kitchen is very good. Stylish environment, friendly staff

What we like,
Conveniently located in a small fishing village with walking distance to every facility.
Eco friendly resort with clean bedrooms, toilet and bathrooms.
All in one resort-restaurant, pool, spa, diving and tours,
What we did not like,
Too commercialized and you will be just a number for the staff.
Money minded with zero flexibility.
Not recommending the restaurant at all, specifically when it's come to fruit juices which were prepared with frozen unripe fruits with almost 80 % water.
Too noisy have a peace of mind due traffic, people, and loudspeakers.
The dirtiest beach town we came across in whole Bali.
Finally, please keep your valuables inside the locker as we lost our android watch which left behind on the table of our room.

We were only here for a quick breakfast before taking the ferry to Gili Air. The coffee was good but expensive, the pancakes were a total failure. The dough was cold and still very runny on the inside. If so, I would just drink a coffee here but not eat anything. The service was friendly and quick, the toilets were clean.

I stayed only one night because I was passing through, but I found myself very well, the rooms were clean and spacious.
Although I checked in late in the evening and the restaurant was about to close, I still managed to have dinner thanks to their availability.
Strategic position for those who need a boat to reach the gili.

If you are interested in diving and you would like to learn how to, I just recommend you OK divers! They will take a really good care of you and teach you from A to
Z. I originally bought just OWD course but because of their approach I went also for AOWD and EANx. All of instructors are great to chat with and really nice. Mine instructor Filip (Czech native also English speaking) was great and thanks to him I felt that they actually care that I will know what to do and how to behave under water. He was very friendly but also strict so that you really remember he also provided lot of advices for future which was very helpful

Long story short if you book your stay or course in OK divers you won’t be disappointed

I came here for a beginners diving course so decided to stay here for a few days either side.

The dive instructors and team were incredible. They were helpful during the course and for the remaining days I was there. This made my experience even better especially as a solo traveler.

The room itself was 3 stars and needs soundproofing and the bathroom is dated. Everything was clean and the staff were excellent. They always were friendly and made efforts to help you and go out of their way.

Also had a massage here and again that was very good.

The only downside is getting here. The locals block gojek and grab so getting to the location is difficult or more expensive than it should be.

Great if you are into diving etc, we went snorkling and was pretty much ignored by our dive master simply because we were not scuba diving, though having a good ol chat to everyone else who was doing scuba this day, on return from our snorkling the dive master then proceeds to sit in the restaurant and we left him while he was smashing beers, come back a few ours later and he still there drinking beer, very unprofessional, food very average, the breakfast is an after thought at this hotel and the coffee terrible, rooms clean though, hotel staff friendly but value for money and ocean views? I can see a few boats from the balcony through the thick tree cover but ocean views it is not, not worth it for the cost.

Excellent service from the staff. Food was yummy too. Room was clean and tidy! Feel free to approach the reception for hair dryer. My travel adapter didn’t work, as the wall socket was for a very specific fitting, but luckily I could borrow from the resort. Would stay here again if I’m coming to Padang Bai! Very near the ferry terminal too.

I stay in this resort for 5nights, booking the 3day diving package and 1day east Bali tour, I also took 2 SPAs here. Everything is amazing especially the diving. Their equipment, the diving guide very professional. I would highly recommend here to my friends.

I really liked the resort, it's restaurant, the room and the staff. I heared from others that remarkable diving spots can be reached from there with the boat of the resort. A downside of Padangbai is that several times a day there are crowds from the big ships and many cars for them. I visited nicer places on Bali than Padangbai but that does not affect my review for the Resort.

We stayed at OK Divers for 2 weeks and had a great time. The staff is amazing, the food was great. This is a great spot for divers, you're right across the street from the pier.
The dive center was amazing - Arya and Made were the best dive guides!

Definitely recommend diving Manta Point, it was incredible!

Blitzsauber, schönes Hotel, Lage perfekt für die Überfahrt nach Lombok oder die Gillis. 2 Min.zu Fuß zum Speedboat. Hotel organisiert auch die Tickets.

Perfect- freundlich, sauber und gegenüber des Fähranlegers zur Fähre. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit war absolut top.

It has been a wonderful experience, front counter and restaurant staffs are very friendly and helpful. Although I don't dive with them, people at the dive shop are nice. Room is clean and bright. 9 days goes by so fast. Overall, it is an amazing stay!

Had a blast diving with OK divers. They were great and friendly. The view of the corals and fishes were amazing!

Had a blast trying diving for the first time. Instructors are friendly and professional. Definitely will visit again.

Note: you need to wait at least 18hours after you dive before flying or going up mountains so as to let your body acclimate.

I absolutely recommend staying in the ok divers resort. The rooms are super clean and smell awesome haha. Everything was perfect, well organized and the staff is so nice! Also it’s straight in front of the beach and the boats that go to gilis.

Nice hotel tepat di depan pelabuhan padang bai. Staf nya ramah2 dan service nya bagus. Kamarnya nyaman clean. Breakfast nya enak. Sangat recommended.

When me and my friend wanted to get Padi Diving Certification, we found OK Divers in Padangbai as diving course after many searches online. During reservation, Sri was very patient and kind to explain the diving courses and accommodation in OK Diver and the price was reasonable for us to join the class. During check-in one of the management team (Mbak Fipi) was very friendly, welcoming and patient to explain the stay in OK Diver Spa and Resort.

The Room:
- Me and my mother booked in a suite I believe with sea view. The room was clean, has two bathrooms and living room and it was pretty environmental friendly. The room could turn into family room as well.

The Colonial Restaurant:
- During breakfast as vegetarian, I was satisfied with the breakfast and the coconut latte. The fruit and juice were freshly-cut. The burger served during lunch were super good, and the cheese-steak served during dinner was a bombed! The whole food and beverage team were all friendly and very accommodate towards vegetarian customers.

The Diving Lesson:
- Me and my friend joined the classes for about 3 days and we both loving it! Kathy, our instructor was an amazing, friendly instructor and very patient with us who were very beginner (now not so anymore: D) and very experienced. We highly recommend her as an instructor. For you, an Indonesian who needs Indonesian instructor, she is the go-to-instructor for diving. After a long read from Padi online course, Kathy patiently explained to us the materials that we didn't understand. First pool lesson was a great experience for beginner diver as we could explore the technical side without being panic at the sea. The course was included with the lunch and afternoon tea (what a deal! ;) ). The second and third day, we went to nearest diving-side to dive at the sea. The weather was sunny and it was perfect to dive. It was an eye-opening experience to see all those beautiful creatures under the sea from the sea animals that never been seen before to the most familiar sea animals on Kids' television. Kathy was patient enough to brief and instruct us to dive at the open water. I have never dived before and saw all those beautiful animals under the sea opened up the new world to us.overall, all the divers instructor including the owner are very very experienced divemasters. I highly recommend OK Diver Spa and Resort for your diving course in Padangbai.

Didn't stay here, but got a chance to ate at the restaurant. If you enjoy burgers, then you should try their Beef Burger.
They also operates a dive centre.

I'd honestly say that this place is the best hotel in the area. I love their room and bathroom cleanliness and comfory, their staffs' warmth and friendliness, calm and serene atmosphere. They have spacious and nice restaurant and bar, a spa and a dive center. On top of it, this little beach front hotel has 2 swimming pool! How awesome is that! Great place for a weekend getaway, staycation or to dive for sure!

Excellent place. Am in love with the hospitality and the cleanliness. Staff is very polite. Food and it's presentation are extraordinary. Only issue is the wifi services but can't be helped.

Great hotel, lovely crew & very well run operation - 5* overall also for diving, but only because I saw a whale shark on my first dive

Came back for a few dives after 4 years and was happy to confirm that both the dive centre and dive sites were as good as I remembered. Plus lunch was included in the price! Totally recommend this place.

Styllish, chilled spot right on the bay with pool bar, good food and good prices. Perhaps the only negative is the strength of the air conditioning which wasn't sufficient.

One of the best places in Padangbai. Location is great being on the beach and right infront of the fast boats port.
The restaurant is cosy and simple with beautiful details, serving delicious food, traditional and international. Two pools; one inside the resort and the other in the front yard.
The room was sparkling clean with simple, yet beautiful design. You don't have to buy water here, room services refill whenever you request. We mentioned that we are on our honeymoon so they prepared us a room full of flowers and one increadibly aromatic candle.
