Plantation Restaurant

I wonder how this restaurant was in the past as several reviews put it in the same category with amazing restaurants like Nusantara. I stayed at Alila Ubud for a few days, so had breakfast every morning here (very good) and dinner one evening. The dinner was decent, but not worth going out of the way to get here if not staying at the hotel.

Having daily Breakfast here, they have daily different local Breakfast dish this really not bad, Dinner was nice too. Food is nice, Service is good.

The location is beautiful. I was expecting more from the food given the nice reviews and price point.

We ate here twice during our stay and found the entire experience to be thoroughly enjoyable and delicious. The first evening we had the Royal Rijsttafel, and the following night we partook in the Music Brews and BBQ event. The former gave us a very special dining experience with many small traditional dishes to taste paired with rice. At the end of the meal they even brought out two glasses of rose and two small chocolate cakes to celebrate our honeymoon! The BBQ event was a blast - they had live musicians performing guitar/saxophone covers all night long, and a set menu which included buffet-style BBQ options including lobster, squid, and ribs. Super delicious! Service was impeccable both evenings, with the staff even offering to take our photos for us when the food arrived.

Would highly recommend the fun events/meals that Alila Ubud organizes at Plantation. As we were checking out, we spotted a sign for a 4-course dinner menu accompanied by a traditional lion dance and live Balinese music. Reservations recommended as these can fill up quickly. With the location of the hotel being so remote, Alila does a great job of programming fun meals that don't make you feel like you're missing out by not being in town.

Friendliest and best service we had during our one week in Bali! The staff are super attentive remembering all guests names and preferences and take real pride in their work.
Chef Ayan and the team doing amazing food and even happy to do some off the menu requests too! Beautiful setting and food is also reasonably priced too

Restaurant ambience is super! Looking on tropical forest within nature surrounded the restaurant, and have a nice meals and great services.

2 nights in a row dining here while staying at the resort and highly recommend this place. Indonesian food staples like nasi goreng and sate is high standard. Services also excellent, atmosphere is so romantic with soft jazzy spanish playlist. This is epitome of romance.

Super clean, great food (and wine), friendly and caring staffs + interesting performance (barong, dance, Balinese gamelan)

Positive: 1) The breakfast menu changes everyday 2) nice fruit juices 3) good coffee 4) staff are friendly 5) fresh warm bread and jams

This restaurant offer delicious dishes. I like the way the restaurant presented the local food in western way. Look atractive and inviting.
