We did the cooking class with Kadek, she is great and explains very well. You can learn lots of different dishes including the famous peanut sauce or chicken curry. It was a great moment of sharing and you are contributing to a great cause far from the trendy places.

Amazing experience and I super love it! I’ve seen the Balinese dance and I fell in love with it. But it is my last day in Ubud and my boyfriend booked 1 hour dancing class for me. It’s quite difficult but the teacher is very professional she can made everything easier and I can learn within 1 hour. I hope I could come back to @Ubud and learn more. Thank you so much! Hidden gem di Ubud! Ini adalah perpustakaan, toko buku bekas, tempat kursus bahasa Indonesia/kebudayaan Bali, dan ada guesthouse-nya juga. Buku-bukunya bisa dipinjam bawa pulang atau baca di tempat. Tersedia bacaan ragam bahasa: Inggris, Jepang, Jerman, dll.

We visit every trip to Bali for classes - everything from silver class, dance, woodcarving, art, offering baskets and anything else you can think of. Usually one on one class, no big group, so very personal. Best price for classes compared to most other "tourist" places.

I learned about Balinese Offering (Rp200.000). The two instructors not only demonstrated how to make it, but also explained why they make offerings and the symbolic meanings behind each shape and each color. Had an amazing wood carving lesson with Nyoman today, so glad to see this place running after the pandemic. I visited many years ago for silver smithing as well. Great place to learn about Ubud culture! I couldn't find their WhatsApp number so I found and messaged on Facebook messenger to book.

This place is now open in May 2022. We took some wood carving lessons. The instructor was great! Lots of knowledge and useful techniques learnt, plus it was fun!
This venue hosts many activities/classes, like Indonesian language, dance, music, fruit decoration, painting, wood carving, painting, silver jewellery making, offering creation.

Did a wood working class here. Taught by a master woodworker from Mas.
We had the choice f making something specific (like a dolphin) or learning techniques and we chose techniques. The flower/leaves we tried are just like the filagree on the gamelans. We learnt how to plan a design, build layers, create sharp corners and smoothing surfaces. By the end of our 2.5 hrs, we were very enthused and happily creating designs and starting them.
Highly recommended as the class was cheaper than competitors, in the middle of Ubud, great workshop space.

Koleksi buku di perpusnya sendiri aku ga liat kemarin karena tujuannya beli buku secondnya. Kala buku second ada untuk anak2 dan dewasa. Yang anak2 ga banyak pilihan, tapi kalau telaten liatin satu2, i'm sure you'll find a gem. Kondisi buku secondnya ga semuanya bagus. Tapi masih bisa dibaca semua. Kalau buku second dewasa ada fiksi dan non fiksi, ga ada pembagian kategori lebih lanjut. Jadi harus telaten liatin buku2nya.
Tempatnya sendiri nyaman dan tenang.

The library is nice, I love how it smell. You can buy or lend books there. There is also books in any European lang.
