Loved my stay here - the family and their dogs are very welcoming, friendly, & humble. Comfortable + clean room overlooking the beautiful ricefields (watched the best sunrise)
You do have to go down a narrow alley to get to it but they were happy for me to leave my scooter in the yard. Reasonably priced and will definitely be back - thank you!

Amazing view, clean room, calm.
Downstairs it’s all messy, with cute, but barkling dogs.
They don’t accept transfers and cards, so if you’re out of cash be ready for a lot of drama.
Never will be back and leaving 2 stars because owner used too much capital letters in messaging and also threatened me, which is not appropriate in any communication. So energy that I received was tough and aggressive.
Other than that, good place to stay for a couple of nights

I would totally recommend Purta homestay, if you're new to Bali and ubud is your starting place I would highly recommend you to stay here. Martini and Kommen are such an amazing couple and host. I stayed here for 1 week and it felt like I was a member of family. Martini can also help you plan your adventures like Mt. Batu, ATV, rafting and transportation since she has such good connections and contract you will get everything at a cheaper price (when compared for an international). The whole family is welcoming. They also offer airport pickup please ask them to pick you up. You have complimentary breakfast available. Don't forget to try woodcarving it was an amazing experience. Kommen can help you pick the best durian, if you ever intend to try. The place is absolutely beautiful and the view of Mt Agung makes me feels like going back here, they have good food on the menu and they can make it in 5 minutes, if you love dogs they have 3 pomarian dogs (look in the picture) I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STAY HERE. WORTH EVERY PENNY

Ruhige Unterkunft mit 2 Doppelzimmern, südlich von Ubud mit tollem Blick auf die Reisfelder. Liegt etwas versteckt am Ende einer kleinen Gasse. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, Kommunikation vorab problemlos per WhatsApp, täglich wechselndes Frühstück, AC und Ventilator vorhanden, WiFi Empfang im Zimmer problemlos (aber recht langsam). ATM und kleinere Supermärkte in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Aber um etwas mehr zu sehen, ist ein Scooter erforderlich (wird direkt in der Unterkunft für 50k/Tag vermietet).

The best air bnb host I ever had in my entire air bnb experience. An amazing view, free complimentary breakfast of delicious simple breakfast, and lovely nice friendly local family that will help you out in making your day itinerary.

It was a really good place to stay. We enjoyed it a lot!
Awesome view and sunrise, clean room, good AC (with night mode), quiet place, helpful host, delicious coffee and breakfast. They provide scooter's rent and transfer from/to the airport (the car is good). It's difficult to find a better place to stay in this area and for this price.
But some things can be improved. There is a wide gap in the door, so some spiders or lizards might live with you. The sewer in the shower was a bit clogged. Breakfast is delicious, but for us it was slightly too small. There was no soap, so if you arrive late, better have your own.

Amazing and cheap place to stay a little bit away from Ubud center. There is really small amount of rooms so it's really quiet. The people running the place are lovely. I would definitely go back there for some time.
Just keep in mind that you need a scooter if you stay there, but like anywhere in Bali actually

The ambience and vibes is very very good.the view from the room makes it more relaxing. Truly a home in putra homestay. Very big big thanks to matini and family for making it a home and stress free adventure during the stay in bali. Big thanks also for ketut, our very patient and reliable driver, for taking us to the beautiful must go scenes.
Would like to recommend putra homestay to anyone who wished to visit bali.

Great home stay, the best host.
It felt like home. A lot of local help provided by the host.
The bikes are available at home for you all time.
The host even got us dressed like balinese and took for ceremony at temple. Explained us lot of things about culture. Arranged a night trek to batur and most important she and her husband woke up at 1.30 am just to ensure we are dropped safe to the pickup vehicle.
The first impression about the area when you enter is not really great. But as you stay there you feel like home.
It felt like home. A lot of local help provided by the host.

We stayed with Martini and her family for 45 days and to say it right away, they were the best hosts we ever met. Always kind and helpful at every time of the day. I will recommend them everytime.

Absolutely amazing stay. We stayed for 11 nights and how wonderful. The Host Martini and her family go out of their way to make you feel at home and welcome. The room is very nice with agood bathroom and nice big bed. The view of the rice paddy is amazing to wake up to as well as watch the sunset over Mount Batur. There are only 2 rooms so it is nice an quiet. You can have your laundry done (washed and ironed in one day if you give it in the morning), you can rent a scooter and you can get some meals here (if you give some notice) and it is all so reasonable. It is 20 min from Ubud town and very close to all the sights. Martini gives great advice and tips on where to go, and is so easy to talk to and discuss Bali and the wonderful culture. We will be back soon! And HIGHLY recommend this Homestay.
