Ramen Dining Kazumi

The worst ramen ever had and the worst is that they used off Tuna! The color of tuna was gray and it smelled so much I couldn’t eat it as I thought i might be sick after eating this. I wouldn’t recommend at all also so expensive! Totally not recommended! I went after reading your blog and the ramen tastes really strange and the worst is tuna carpaccio? Maybe they used spoiled tuna, but the color was strange and it had a fishy smell. I thought it would hurt to eat it, so I just threw it all away.

Best ramen i've had in years. Fresh noodles and tasty broth. Delicious takoyaki. Excellent service. I would definitely come back here.

Best ramen I've had in years, especially the Butter Miso Ramen. Stayed in Ubud 3 nights and went here twice.

We were warmly welcomed by the waitress upon arrival. The ramen and gyozas were delicious, and the added touch of free spices and toppings on the tables allowed us to customize our experience. Looking forward to coming back!

Looking for ramen? Look no further. We ordered the edamame, the chicken gyoza, the black tonkotsu and the miso butter ramen. Highly recommend the black tonkotsu. The gyoza having crispy ends was a new favorite of mine that I have not seen before. From the creative and fun expanding tissues in the beginning to the quick food, my partner and I very much enjoyed this spot. We sat outside and people watched on a quiet street. The service was fast and very nice. We both eat a lot and ordered two regular sized ramens in addition to the appetizers. If you are a large group I would call ahead. They have proper ceramic bowls. Room for growth: ceramic soup spoons to go with the beautiful bowls. Cheers and thank you

Hiden gem ramen in Ubud! Small restaurant but cozy. I recommend you to try all the yakitori. The noddle's perfect cook, may be you can try black tonkatsu.

Definitely the best Ramen in Ubud. Love their Miso Tonkotsu Spicy Ramen.

I’ve lived in Japan and NYC where ramen is everywhere. This ramen was delicious yet I find it strange that when you add “extras” into your ramen they serve it on the side and cold from the refrigerator.

Two words: the best ramen.
This is authentic Japanese ramen dining. Only three ramens available, but that's enough, since you can add/remove almost all ingredients. I had the tonkotsu ramen regular portion. What can I say — this is not really a 'regular', it's a fine meal to satisfy you for all day. Order a big portion only if you plan to share, and regular if you fill hungry. Ramen itself is just perfect: perfectly cooked pork, with soft fat on inside and spicy crisp on the outside, perfectly boiled noodles, fantastic broth. I had an extra shiitake and it could be a little bit more salty, but fine after a few minutes in ramen.
About the starters:
Gyoza were perfectly cooked, served with thib pancake, completely filled with chicken. Same goes for takoyaki (with octopus). Not to mention that you can add as much mayo, tuna shaving and other toppings as you like it.
I wish there was option to order large Sapporo, because in Bali there are only small bottle. It could definitely said the right mood.
So, the place is really small, but that only adds up to the atmosphere. Booking is advised. The service is fast and simple, people here are really kind. The prices are very reasonable, but for such quality it's even cheap.
Verdict: the most authentic ramen dining I've seen outside of Japan. Not a fancy place, but the best choice to eat ramen in Bali.

VEGAN OPTIONS! Amazing authentic ramen. There was a bit of a wait so my partner and I waited outside and struck up a conversation with the owner of the restaurant. He was so humble and authentic and made the experience just that much better. When we sat down to eat my partner and I both ordered large size vegan ramen along with an order of the gyoza. Let me tell you: the portion is HUGE, and this is coming from two people whose stomachs are bottomless-pits. Take my advice and order the medium or small. We tried to fuel up for our Mt. Batur trek that we would do the next morning and actually stayed full for the whole trek as well as many hours afterwards. Motorbike parking is just across the street. Also, they've 'adopted' the neighbor's dog and put them as part of the restaurant's logo - so cute!

The ramen taste so far so good, humble staf. Well, the restaurant si small but the service and the food is very good, cozy table inside.

Tempatnya agak kecil, tapi cozy, jadi sebaiknya reservasi kalau mau kesini di jam makan, untungnya pas kesini lagi sepi.

Untuk ramen ada 3 pilihan porsi small reguler dan large, tapi kalau yang makannya dikit porsi small pun sudah cukup kenyang dan gede.

Meatball pork nya juga enak banget.

Absolutely delicious! We had takoyaki, pork gyoza, chicken skin skewers and black tonkotsu ramen. I recommend every single thing. So rich in flavors and well made. Also the service was so nice and helpful. Would come back

I love it! My family and I ate there and we enjoyed it! It took a while for the food to come, but it was so worth it! My daughter loved it so much. Best ramen ever! The broth is super delicious and the noodles too!

The place is pretty small but it has big portion of ramen.would like to go back bcs of the meat and the broth of the ramen is soo good.

We had Black Tonkotsu Ramen and Miso Butter Ramen here. The pork char-siu on the ramen was very tender and juicy. The broth, especially Miso Butter, quite thick and very flavour. I think dinner time would be a better option to enjoy these hot ramens.

It was 5 star, now it's changed a bit.so i have to give 4.
The last 2 times we went, both ramen and gyoza were nice, but not as good as before, and we eat there many many times.
In particular the meat was a bit hard, normally it was very soft. I don't recommend for dinner, it's quite heavy to digest, better for lunch
The "Small" portion of ramen is already quite big, the first time I have been there I ordered the medium and it's really huge!
Try some appetizers instead.

Best place to go for a ramen.the thick tasteful broth with the melt-in-your-mouth meat makes the ramen to die for.it's a small restaurant, better to make a reservation first

I ordered the regular size of black tonkotsu. I like the texture of the noodles, right amount of chewiness, the meat was surprisingly big. However, I'm a bit disappointed from the broth. It's not as rich as I expected. Ordered some small sides as well, it's pretty good. Space a bit small so if you wanna come during busy hours better make reservation before.

We had the vegetarian ramen. Could be a little bit more flavorful, gyoza? Were nice! Staff also very lovely!

The ramen taste is amazing & the hospitality is delightful. If you go to bali, especially ubud area, you definitely should try this ramen

Don't get me wrong the service and staff was great but I would not come back for the food. If you are an avid ramen eater, i would not recommend trying kazumi.

We tried both the black tonkotsu and the miso ramen, for both I would say that their broth is not flavorful enough. Both broth tastes very bland. And although they give a generous pork serving, I wish they would cut it thinner and improve the flavor. The chicken skin could also be crispier. Gyoza and chicken karage was okay but not impressive.

Ramennya enak.gyoza enak, sate kulit ayam enak, dan sate pork meatball cheese enak meski agak asin dikit but its okeylah.

Excellent Ramen, even the small size is pretty large so be aware. My only complaint is the Christmas music and lack of Diet Coke. Other than that truly exceptional! A nice change for the vegan scene dominating Ubud.

There's a story in every bowl of Ramen, and this one is really amazing because it was super good! The taste really authentic and the owner is fro Japan and he is really nice guy and be so kind to us. This place not so spacious so you guys need to make an appointment or at least come earlier to have a seat and enjoy the fantastic bowl of ramen.

Tonight i finally decided to eat ramen (Japanese noodle) in Ubud. I think this is such a good idea as it is raining outside. This is the first time ever eating ramen after had many local and western food. Surprisingly it tastes beyond my expectation. The noodle, char siu (pork meat) and the gravy are absolutely perfect. Had a chance to meet with the owners both Japanese as well. They are super friendly. Definitely will come back to eat here again during my visit in Bali.

The best ramen I tasted in Indonesia. (It is hard to tell you most of “ramen” in Indonesia taste as “Soto”, but this one is similar like what I tasted in Japan)

I highly recommend Ramen Dining Kazumi for those who want to enjoy the authentic Japanese Ramen! The pork is so yummy and delicious!

We just ate here tonight and loved every dish. We had the sushi plate, the black tonkotsu ramen, the edamame and gyoza. The tastes were perfect and just like what we found in Japan. We really enjoyed the whole meal and can't wait to go back. My son who is quite picky ate everything and loved each dish.so kids will enjoy this place. The prices were great and not expensive at all. Portions were big and filling. Two adults shared the regular size ramen as it was a big bowl of perfection and there were still quite a few noodles left for our child to eat. The food was so good, I will keep dreaming of it tonight while I sleep. Thanks for great service and a great meal. We will be back soon.maybe even tomorrow.

Simple menu, very nice stuff and by far the best Ramen I had in a long time. Small place that just opened in November but its so well in place like they've been running Kazumi for years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Didn't expect a traditional bowl or ramen in Bali! Outstanding service, delicious ramen, couldn't ask for anything more! If you thought Bali was paradise, this takes it the next level!

Loved the ramen, although the choice is very limited (only 3 types) and especially juicy gyoza, but the egg was very disappointing. It was just a hard boiled egg, which does not belong in ramen and seriously upset me. Guys, please check and learn how to make ramen egg

Really enjoyed the Tonkotsu ramen here. Traditional tasting pork broth and soft braised pork chashu. An authentic experience and I'll be going back here to get my ramen fix whenever I need it. Recommended

Cozy little restaurant in the heart of Ubud. Literally the best and most authentic ramen I have had (here and in Australia). Definitely put this shop on your list to visit!

The best Red Tonkotsu Ramen in Ubud, Bali. The pork broth was full of depth and flavours. The Ramen came with thick slices of pork and a half hard boiled egg.

The Sushi Roll Plate was amazingly good and came in generous portions. Very fresh at relatively reasonable prices.

Despite the local feel, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Best ramen place in town. The staff and owner go above and beyond to make sure your needs are catered to. We've eaten here a few times now and each time the food has been delicious. Also, something that stands out every time - Ive never had ramen with such tender and juicy piece of char siu! Yum! Great prices in a warm atmosphere. This place will become one of our regular haunts for all the right reasons.

Pork overload in the best way. The ramens here are magical as are the staff. I haven't tried the sushi yet because it's so popular they sold out. Definitely coming back and bringing friends.

We landed with dumplings, sushi and ramen. Really friendly people, good taste (all of the food we had) and for those who know Japan. Some typical things like the little towels, the different kinds of oils and the typical bar in front of the kitchen. Good prices, good portions. We recommend this place!

First of all, best ramen in Bali. Also excellent gyoza and sushi. Chef Kenta and staff creates an intimate and welcoming environment reminiscent of a traditional Japanese ramen house. The char-siu is tender, delicious, and finished with a blowtorch tableside. The ramen has chewy, thick, but easily eaten noodles that hold the meaty goodness of the broth flavors. The black tonkotsu is a stellar example of its kind. If you like more heat, the red tonkotsu (spicy miso and pork broth) does the job without being overpowering. There are also a great selection of appetizers to share, and your table has all the condiments needed to adjust the spiciness or savoriness of your broth to your taste. Excellent service too. Looking forward to my next bowl already!
