Royal Kamuela Villas & Suites at Monkey Forest, Ubud

We spent 4 nights here, the breakfast was delicious, I don't wake up usually for breakfast but this place has me excited for it everyday.luxurious hotel room with top services from everyone here, totally gonna miss this place. We had Agus to take care of our bags and he was very helpful and friendly, super awesome guy.the forest and all the good restaurants are nearby, took 5-10 minutes to walk by.such an amazing place and city.

Totally disappointing hotel Very bad dealings. I booked a villa with a private pool. I was surprised that they did not accept the children with them, and they did not return our money to us. They offered us to change the dates, and we accepted their offer to change the date. Now their response cannot be changed, only deceiving management in the extreme. All its interest is to collect money, even if in a crooked way, but we will not deal with you.future

What an amazing place. Booked for a special birthday and from the minute we arrived the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Our Villa was something amazing and location great with plenty of bars and restaurants in the evening. Who needed to go to Monkey Forest with the monkeys around the resort although we did make the error of putting fruit out but it gave a great photo opportunity. Would highly recommend and wish we had stayed longer before moving to another part of Bali.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Royal Kamuela in Bali and I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel at home right away.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a traditional Balinese style, which creates a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with all the modern amenities you could want, including a comfortable bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a well-stocked minibar. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a rain shower and luxurious toiletries.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of my stay was having direct access to the hotel's private pool. This exclusive feature was an ideal spot to unwind and rejuvenate after a day of exploring Bali.

In terms of dining options, the hotel's restaurant served up some of the most delicious food I've ever had. The breakfast was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of both Western and Indonesian dishes on offer. I also had the pleasure of trying the restaurant's signature floating breakfast, which was an absolute delight.

The location of the hotel is also worth mentioning, as it's situated in a quiet area of Ubud, away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. This made for a peaceful and restful stay.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Royal Kamuela to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Bali. The attention to detail, impeccable service, and beautiful surroundings all contribute to a truly unforgettable experience.

Royal Kamuela is such a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I stayed here for 10 nights over the Christmas/New Year period and we adored every minute! Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff and the most beautiful ambience. It is also in the best location, close to Monkey Forest and central Ubud. The Aum Day Spa is exceptional. What can I say?
This place made us change our stay in Bali from 7 days to 9 days.
The service is personable, friendly and accommodating.
Food is always delicious and well curated.
The facilities are fantastic. Our room had direct entry to the pool.
We used the tour service which was reasonably priced two times
We used the spa three times! It is a little more expensive than the high street but it is very clean with rooms that have Air Conditioning.
Beautiful experience I’ll be bring my parents next year!

Best place to stay in ubud if you want to be close to everything from restaurants to attractions. It’s in a nice quiet area next to the monkey forest. Also everyone in the hotel has the best hospitality, they are all kind and helpful. They helped me arrange decorations for my girlfriends birthday and everything has exceeded my expectations. We will definitely stay here again next time.

This hotel only care about themselves. Becareful this hotel cannot accept anyone under 18. They will not put this important message for people to easy to read and aware.we made the booking with kids and they never want to give any kind of refund even at 50% of the cost.brutal.

We have stayed here for the last 5 nights with our final night being tonight. The location is fantastic, being a 5 minute walk to the Monkey Forest, a short walk to central Ubud, and is surrounded by many amazing cafes and restaurants.

All the staff are extremely kind and will go out of their way to accomodate any of your needs.

The villa that we stayed in was exceptional, with an amazing 12m pool and beautiful spa bath tub - with the staff cleaning and resetting your room daily.

The included breakfast is absolutely fantastic with many delicious options, seated on the third floor with a beautiful open outlook to the Monkey Forest and over Ubud.

Would highly recommend Royal Kamuela to anybody wanting to be close to central Ubud, but tucked away in a peaceful and tranquil setting.

The Professionalism and the Responsibility of staffs are beyond the expectation. The Royal Kamuela, Ubud is the most cozy and warmest 5 stars hotel. I won’t think twice to come back and stay again.

Excellent location, Villa with pool is awesome, monkeys galore. Mosquitos are annoying but that's not the hotels fault

Very good service, the swimming pool is also really clean and big they also have a gym there, the breakfast has a small selection but tastes good (i recommend the fried rice & noodles) sometimes the monkeys roam around at 10 am & 4pm so you can see them walk around and climb around the hotel. Very worth it!

Good villa, good breakfast, and good view. And they have wonderful staffs too.

You can buy nasi jinggo as breakfast at warung just across the street.

You can see monkeys roam around the villa at noon, just beware of your belonging especially food. The staffs there asks us not to feed them, because they’ll come again and again along with their packs.

Secluded hommy luxurious place just a few steps from the famous and (before pandemic) lively Monkey Forrest st. If you are looking for a staycation during pandemic time, this is the perfect place to do it. The room and bathroom are big, cozy and hommy. Plus very friendly and polite staffs ️

A very nice hotel, hidden from view on the road near monkey forest ubud. Prime location near the stalls along the road, but unfortunately very empty during covid pandemic. Room was spacious, with nice shower and bath tub. Easy access to the pool from my room, its just outside the balcony. Recommended.

4 hari bermalam di Royal kamuela. 12 -16 mei 2021.sejak datang pelayanannya sangat ramah.kenyamanan tamu diutamakan.sore sepulang dari tmpt wisata mau kekamar kami dikawal pelayan krn suka ada monyet pagi atau sore turun.meskipun pandemi semua fasilitasnya buka.sarapan variasinya lumayan meskipun ala carte.tp rasanya enakkkk, dan dianter kamar (*meskipun lbh suka makan d resto sihh)
kamar tidur dan kamar mandinya luasss bangetttt.bersihhhh tp sedikit krg lengkap krn sabun shampo dan conditioner sejak pertama dtg tidak diisi ulang.tp over all sdh bagusss.dan kami gak nyesel menghabiskan waktu selama hari puasa terakhir dan merayakan ber-idulfitri disini.kl ke ubud mau balik menginap dsini.thank you for your nice service Royal Kamuela

Absolutely outstanding place, we are pretty experienced upmarket travellers and the hospitality we received here has been second to none. We were initially booked for 3 nights and ended up extending our stay because we loved it here so much.

We had amazing massages, rented a scooter directly from them for £5 a day and they provided some great vegan options just for us.

It's a stone throw from the monkey forest, a 10 minute walk to Ubud Market and has a 24 hour shop next door.

We can't imagine staying anywhere else if we ever visit Ubud again.

Our stay at Royal Kamuela was a fantastic experience. The property is perfectly located in central Ubud, but off the main street in forest with lots of peace and quite.

All of the staff were exceptional, very attentive and kind. I cannot say enough great things about them! The general manager in particular went out of the way to make sure our stay was great, offering us a villa for Valentines day and later sending flowers and greeting when I was in the hospital. Truly miles ahead of other hotels I have stayed at. Would absolutely recommend the Royal Kamuela when in Ubud!

Loved my 4 night stay here. Took advantage of the Friday festivities - cocktail hour where the hotel staff taught us how to make the offerings and the friday bbq. Bbq was pretty good! Our room was on the 3rd floor which could be a bit of a trek up the stairs in the Bali climate but IMO worth it for the views!

Staff was truly outstanding. They treated us like family and remembered a lot of the little things. Great location - we walked almost everywhere in Ubud! Where we didn’t, we had the hotel shuttle take us.

Amazing place. Beautiful rooms. It's an oasis in the middle of Ubud. Breakfast is ample and tasty. Fresh juice and a lot of choices.
The gym was great, so happy with it. Same goes with the pool and all other facilities.
Definitely recommend!

Nice, confortable stay. Nice touches here and there. Staff are very friendly. Room for improvement in house keeping such as better turn down service, ensuring all amenities such as Bath gels, tissue paper are refilled. Overall, decent.:)

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay (4 nights) at Royal Kamuela. We had a “balcony room” on the 3rd floor with a view overlooking the town of America. Staff is sweet and charming and always wishing to assist and make our stay as best as they can. Highlights were two swimming pools (25 yard and 25 meter), delicious included breakfast every day, good location (access to both Monkey Forest Street on the East and the quieter street behind their restaurant in the west). We would love to come back!

It was perfect place for us. We hope to stay at this hotel very soon again!

1. Nice staff - they are always smile and trying to provide the best service as they can during our stay.
2. Wonderful dishes - various breakfast you can try and fancy afternoon dinner will be served everyday.
3. Clean room - During 4 nights, we cannot find even 1 ant or fly. Sure, we closed all the window and door every moment.
4. Convenience - You can easily access to many of attractive places in Ubud from this hotel. (Yoga barn, ubud market, royal palace, etc.)

However, you would have unfavorable service from SPA unless choosing professional staff; Nonetheless, we don’t think the price is not reasonable. Yoga class of Mon/Thu was very relax and great but, the mat for yoga would be dirty. I have rash after the class, actually.

Anyhow we highly recommend this hotel for staying Ubud, Bali. You should try to have any heartful services from them.

My wife and I had such an amazing time here for our wedding anniversary! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the villa we stayed in was great!

We had an incredible stay at the hotel, the rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly. We loved the room and the privacy the hotel offered.
The hotel is in a great location, lots of restaurants and close to the center.
