Sardine Restaurant

Very expensive for what it is. Some food was very tasty. Some was hit and miss. This place is trying to do too much, wasn’t sure if it was a fine dining restaurant/beach club/bar/night club. Good experience but wouldn’t go back.

Worst place I’ve been in very long time. Very rude staff. Ostentatious and show off venue. Tacky style with Russian flavour and esthetics. This is not the essence of Bali at all. At the door the girl was really rude and didn’t even speak Bahasa or English, but Russian. They check you out from head to toe and treat you like a peasant. They reject crowd if your not under their “ standards”. Once inside food mediocre and tacky crowd

Very disappointing. Been there many times learnt it has changed ownership about a year ago. Seems very different. The shop was a mess, the rice field wasn’t, my husband’s risotto was tasteless and my crab & prawn lasagne was hard and swimming in sauce.
We won’t be recommending it to our friends as we previously sung its praises.

Well we were a few friends 2 weekends ago that went to their event. 4 out of 7 got really sick next day. One of our friends fainted and was really sick for a week had to call ambulance for her. She made a review and what is more impressive is that whoever respond to the reviews is even accusing her of being on drugs. So far from apologize or acknowledge their errors, or at least give a professional answer, as soon as someone gives a negative review they immediately blame the customer. This is probably the worst customer service I Ve seen.

You might be right or not but the way you handle your reviews is rude and unprofessional.

For sure now you have 10 customers less.

We had greatly anticipated eating here as we had been a number of years ago. Unfortunately we were doomed to disappointment …. This restaurant is all about the superficial. The look is stunning with tables overlooking beautifully illuminated rice paddies. The wait staff are all quite funkily dressed in striped t-shirts with beige denim pants and sandshoes whilst the maître’d was too busy displaying her 2 best assets to actually provide any value-add to the service experience.

In line with the aesthetics the cocktails attempted to be theatrical but virtually rendered the look ludicrous as the glasses were off balance and required perfect positioning on their individual carved wooden plates. Again, all show no substance.

The service overall was superciliously perfunctory. The staff were only reciting information with no true understanding of either the menu or the individual dishes. Dishes were placed on the table with a very rehearsed and quick explanation - no real engagement.

Then the quality of the food was also quite poor especially considering how expensive it is compared to other excellent Bali restaurants. The lobster bisque, for example, was inedible. The lobster was over cooked and the bisque was so heavily salted as to render it unpalatable. When the wait-person took the uneaten dish away I told them why I hadn’t eaten it. Their response was to thank me for my feedback …. Another of our party ordered the grilled slipper lobster that was undercooked and gelatinous.
All in all it was a terribly sad experience and a very expensive mistake.

One of my favorite seafood restaurants Always fresh food and excellent cuisine) A huge plus is that the staff is very attentive and smiling 10 out of 10 if you want to go for lunch or dinner with friends

Makannya variatif.tempatnya nyantai banget.lokasi strategies, dekat dengan mana2 area seminyak.

A small selection of dishes, small portions, very expensive! If you don't order dishes anymore, they try to kick you out of the restaurant faster! Beautiful interior!

Great Venue, Great Wine, We ordered the seafood platter but sadly the staff said they could not get fresh seafood due to the rough sea's when we told them it tasted fishy. Avoid the seafood! But everything else was good

Attentive service and awesome food! If you're headed for lunch you'd see the paddy fields at the back.

Nice seafood restaurant at Bali. The taste of the foods is great and the staffs are really friendly. They have huge of meals at their menu card. You can enjoy your lunch with your fiends or family with beautiful paddy field as the background. Unfirtunately the price is a little bit too high forvthe portion of meals but for Bali tourists is still acceptable.

Iconic interiors and rice paddy view French restaurant. Lunch is possibly my favourite. Papuan crab tower and the Manis clams are divine. A must visit if you come to Bali.

I went their with my family and had an incredible time. The food was great, the service was unbelievable and the setting was great.

Sardine is in a beautiful bamboo pavilion, with open-air tables overlooking a private sunflower garden and a lovely koi pond. It offers fresh sea food and the menu changes according to what’s fresh.

The best restaurant I had throughout my trip in Bali. It all started with a big welcome by the receptionist. My friend and I were seated under the big hut which is nicely decorated both at the bar and dining area.

Waiters know the food well and are willing to discover and ask the chef if needed. No one can stop me but I had to give my compliments several times to my friend.

The little details they did can tell they are aiming to be the best in the city. I will definitely return to there for more delightful gourmet.

Great food in a beautiful setting. Facing the padi field, just makes the dining better. Highly recommended.

Went therr by walking from our Villa, food was great.my friend from the states have amazing experience. We order many fish menu. The rice pilaf also delicious.the service very very good. For sure will comeback for brunch

BEST RESTAURANT IN BALI to go on a date! Food is amazingzingzing (although the menu has remained the same for a little too long now) and the ambience is always on point.

I took my wife there for her birthday and wasn't disappointed. Excellent food and service, a really special night.

By far, our favourite restaurant in Bali. The dishes are very thoughtful and their treatment of seafood is unparalleled.starting with freshest ingredients, followed by complexity of supplementary ingredients that go in to compliment the main course. It brings out the best flavor, and freshness of each ingredient that really makes the food unique, not to mention the patty field and ambiance is amazing too. Definitely go for the clams, red snapper, jimbaran style grilled fish and scallop. Quite possibly my restaurant in southeast Asia. Make sure you reserve in advance for dinner, go for lunch if you are short of reservation.

Had an early dinner here a few days ago and everything was really nice and then last night I went back for just dessert and cocktails and they seemed bothered that I didn't want dinner. They even took our table away when I said I just wanted dessert and put us on the patio. I felt really unwanted at that point.:/

This place is constantly rated as one of the top restaurant in Bali. I've been here twice. One time when they first open and recently. I'm half hearted about it. The main course fish was good. Starter like smoke sardine and ravioli was so so. Again it could just be me, they are constantly full. Perhaps I ordered the wrong dish.

Food was certainly good however there are many more restaurants at high calibre in the proximity in which Sardine is claiming to have claimed the top spot. Didn't get value for money and the restaurant didn't have enough fans to keep the diners cool, given that it's in open near rice fields.
