Delicious Sumatran satay! I tried all three options (beef, beef tongue and chicken), and they were all great. 20000 for 8 sticks with rice (lontong).
The sauce was amazing; so earthy, rich and full of flavour. Don't come here expecting peanut sauce - this is a curry sauce.
We also tried all three types of 'crackers' available (5000 each). My favourite were the onion (I think that's what they were!), then the fried beef skin, then the cassava chips.
Will definitely coming back here!

Authentic taste, I am from Pariaman, West Sumatera where this kind of sate/satay is quite common and these guys know what they’re doing.
Keep coming back here everytime I am in Canggu. Cheap even compare to how much you will pay for this taste back at where it came from. Humble young guys running these, but sauce are made by their parents.

Sate padang khas Pariaman memiliki ciri bumbu yang kental dengan warna kemerahan. Warna merah ini berasal dari penggunaan cabai yang banyak. Tak heran kalau rasanya juga pedas.
Untuk membuat kuah sate padang Pariaman dibutuhkan 19 jenis bumbu dan rempah yang dimasak jadi satu. Inilah alasan kenapa bumbu sate padang Pariaman terasa sangat kuat aroma dan rasanya.
Daging sapi yang diitusukkan juga sudah dalam keadaan matang jadi saat dibakar hanya untuk menghadirkan sensasi aroma yang lebih sedap. Biasanya sate padang ini dimakan dengan pelengkap keripik kulit sapi dicocol ke sausnya.
Ukuran daging lebih kecil dibanding jenis sate padang lainnya.

Chicken or beef satay with spicy curry sauce and lontong rice (rice cooked in a leaf). Very tasty. Just little spicy. Good price. Friendly staff.

Located a bit of hidden in the corner but next to the street. But it is seriously great for the price. Highly recommend you guys if you're looking for delicious sate Padang in Canggu.

This is sate padang (west sumatran style skewer). It comes usually with beef and tongue.you don’t compare this with peanut sauce skewer, just don’t!
and yes this kind of sate usually more expensive than the peanut sauce one.it uses more complex spices.
But i kid you not, this one right here is the cheapest and the most vibrant-taste sate padang around!

Tried charging me 3k per sate when everywhere else in canggu is 2k. Taste was ok but prefer the peanut sauce sates elsewhere.
