Sawah Lovina Bungalows

An oasis of peace, far away from the noisy main road. Spacious, solid and well-maintained rooms, beautiful ornaments. Beautiful garden and swimming pool, very centrally located, many (cultural) attractions nearby such as swimming with dolphins, hot springs, waterfalls, temples, beautiful (scooter) mountain tours with beautiful views and beautiful coral reefs for snorkeling. You can tap coffee, tea and fresh water for free. Several good restaurants nearby. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The price-quality ratio is very good.

Spectacular place, what tranquility and relaxation, we ate the first day we arrived and it was all delicious and in good quantities, and at a good price, the staff is very attentive! And the pool area is beautiful! 100% recommendable!

A wonderful place to relax! The location is beautiful, you can enjoy the peace and quiet by the beautiful swimming pool. The beach and various restaurants are also within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. There are several options for breakfast, excellent breakfast. Staff are very friendly. There is a possibility to wash clothes. The massage you can take is highly recommended. All in all a nice and beautiful place, highly recommended!

After already two weeks in Bali, my wife and I spent 5 nights on the north coast at the Sawah Lovina. It was one of the best accommodations we had during our entire trip. Not only because the Sawah Lovina Bungalows are such a beautiful place, with a garden and a pool that was remarkable, but because of the best hospitality we had. All staff was utmost friendly and helpful – Thank you so much!
Every single one of them were extraordinary and did best to made us feel at home. You need help in organisation of activities, motor bike rental, snorkelling tours or further transport to your next destination – just ask them, they are there for you.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner – we had it all and it was prepared with love. Especially lunch or dinner from the menu was really good. The chef did a great job. In case you want to eat elsewhere, it is easy to get to many Warungs, restaurants or Cafés within minutes by foot.
There are six available bungalows, all with AC, shower and separate toilet, cosy bed and nice entrance – everything kept in Balinese architecture. At the time we were there (it was off season, begin of Nov. 2022) 4 of the bungalows had been under renovation. According to the owner, they want to give the rooms a more romantic touch as well – honeymooners, stay alert.
When we come back to Bali and the region Lovina, we definitely will come back and stay at the Sawah Lovina again.

The place has a very nice and well maintained garden the bungalows are great with lots of space and a giant shower.

Food was great as well.

This is a very good hotel to stay if you are in lovina! The owners are super friendly and will help you and can organize different things for you like for example a driver. I arrived at this lovely hotel around 16: 00 and asked the hotel staff/owners if it still possible to go see dolphins in the next morning. Before I knew it they organized a boat trip to see the dolphins the next day for an fair price! 5/5

The 6 bungalows are situated in a beautiful garden with a big swimming pool. There is a restaurant where you can eat the breakfast that is included within the room rate. We booked 2 bungalows next to eachother. The bed was nice, the matras was sturdy and perfect for my back. The pillows were a little too big. But the pillow on the single bed was good.
The food was mainly Indonesian kitchen. Which tasted wonderful. Breakfast was simple I would suggest choosing the Jaffle (tosti) because the bread, even when toasted is a little dry. But the tosti with tomato is good. We as vegetarians had enough to choose from. Wina does have a Warung closely with a bigger menu but we didn’t try it. Both my parents got a stomach bug. It’s the hot season and you can easily get it from fruit or vegetables. The doctor came and they were better the next day. The staff also took good care of us. We loved our stay, definitely a place we would book again if we go there. It’s a nice location. Close to the beach.you can make little walks. The Main Street is loud but we found a small path along the beach.

My sister and I stayed at Sawah Lovina for a few nights last week, and we absolutely adored our stay. It's not too far from the beach (~7 minute walk) and a bit away from the main strip so it's nice and quiet. The rooms are simple but clean and tidy, and the gardens are SO beautiful. We really loved the pool, was so nice to relax in the sun after a morning of diving. The staff are really kind and friendly, happy to sort out anything for you and give you recommendations. The breakfast is super yummy (loved the jaffles!) too. Honestly the place is paradise. I could not recommend it more!

We just arrived, and I've never seen a place like this before. The rooms are beautiful little houses with handcrafted wooden doors and windows. The garden is magnificent, so many types of plants and little corners to relax and enjoy the piece and quiet. The pool is just gorgeous. We were welcomed by the owner with a nice cold glass of lemon juice. She speaks English very well and is really kind. I'm pretty sure we will have a very enjoyable stay here.

Looks nice, but gave me food poisoning from the pork sate.

Stayed with a friend in this place, everything disappointed, spicy food, the kitchen where they are not cleaned, the staff rude and disrespectful, we wish that we chose this place to stay. We think it will be interesting to those who are looking for a place to stay!
