Seki Tei Sushi & Kushiyaki

Sumpah lama banget, saya harus menunggu 1 jam 30 menit apa sih ini.
Kok sampai selama ini.

Suki Tei is underrated. Been here several times and everything was good: the ramen, sushi, gyoza. It is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Canggu area.

Still the best japanese restaraunt in bali in my opinion. Ofcourse everyones taste is different but I can safely say I have never had a bad dish here. Fish is fresh, small but cosy environment, polite and kind service, very reasonable price. Can do requests within reason, absolutely no complaints

UPDATE 2023: a bit disappoiinting to see many of the prices go up. For the salmon dish, they should consider the dish accompanied with rice because rice alone is 20k per person, more than the price of the extra side salad we purchased.

Our go to Sushi restaurant for the past 5 years, have thoroughly enjoyed almost every experience seems to have a 'cold'.
Sushi rice was mushy, service lacked it normal efficiency, had to repeat things many times and then things were slow.
The centre of the rolls are getting smaller and smaller.
The tempura lacked it normal crunch, was not bad, but was not its normal high quality.

We like the food. The chicken teriyaki is really good and it's our favourite. We also like the sushi but I have no pic sadly. The place isn't that big so we like to sit in the outdoor / patio area overlooking the parking lot and the street. Inside feels about cramped especially when it's abit busy. The service is ok, sometimes the staff not as friendly as other places but yea it's ok. Parking not so big Infront. Prob only two cars and motorcycle can be on the side.

Ordered tuna tataki salad, had to ask the waiter as it already 30 minutes and my friend already finished his meal. Waited another 5 minutes and had to ask the waiter again, she said salad needs 10 minutes more. I cancelled my order and left. Restaurant was almost empty that night. Waiter didn’t say sorry. 2 stars for interior. Won’t come back.

Love love this restaurant! Though I don't see may customers every time I come there (mostly lunch time). But I really hope they will stay for a long while.

This is to the owner of the restaurant. A few minutes after entering, i’m not sure how many people were working but the staff and kitchen staff were speaking so loud i felt as if i was at the bar. It was that loud. Very loud i could not enjoy my meal. Soon after I was not sure but the staff were mixing our bottles around up and down, as a customer i did not know what they were doing? They put their fingers on the bottle and mixing it. I felt mistreated just because i came from overseas. I felt disgraceful. It was not the best experience. If you can improve on this that would be great.

We were the only guests but needed to get the attention of 4+ staff.constructive criticism this is, SAKE in Bali.they have it.

Excellent sushi, impeccable Japanese cuisine. The fish was good and the location delicious, I will come back over and over again! Low and acceptable prices.

Rasanya enak. Pelayannya ramah dan baik banget. Tempat juga cozy. Pertama kali kesini langsung sukaaaaa.

Cuman tadi curry chicken, si chicken nya kurang mateng lagi dikit.but the rest superrrrr

Delicious food, fast service, convenient location, you can seat out, a big parking space, fast Internet (up to 20 MB), menu with pictures, calm atmosphere, nice prices, plenty of space. A great place for negotiations or come to work on a laptop. Highly recommend

Very cute restaurant, lovely ambiance and nice enough staff.

However, the chu toro was likely expired and/or stored and thawed incorrectly (fish was still bleeding when served, and tasted awful). Spicy tuna roll was too heavily coated in sesame seeds to taste the flavor. Seaweed salad doused in soy sauce = wayy too salty and I usually enjoy saltiness. Chawan mushi very watery, was more like soup ‍️

Unfortunate experience because the place itself is very cute. I guess if you just stick to the california rolls or fried food you can't go wrong.

Tempat yg nyaman, apalagi klo malam suasananya enak buat dinner. Proses penyajian makanannya perlu ditingkatkan

The place is so good.like somewhere in Japan. The sushi, sashimi, kare and all food is so delicious! Recommended for sushi and sashimi lovers
