A typical Asian food hawker market. The satay man was doing a roaring trade slaving over the hot coals trying to keep up with demand. Locals are served 1st so be patient & polite. Other stalls were selling varied foods & there was that typical vibe that you get where you would love to try everything but the waistline demands that you dont. A nice place to mingle with the locals.

Experience the local night market here. Lots of local food! Try the dessert (fruits with shaved ice), Bakso, Soto Ayam, Sate and more

Foreigner has to understand, this night market serves different kind of local foods in one place.
Personally, I feel it's an awesome experience going there to eat.
Foods are inexpensive as compared to warungs.

We tried the gado-gado and tahu telor, hearty meal for the price. Peanut gravy and sambal chill is really fragrant and tasty, not overwhelming sweat.

It may be cold, but the hygiene is not so good. The tables are dirty.
It's noisy

Overcharging place…. Or I would say they have ‘foreigner price’ since i can speak Bahasa Indonesia very well…. I ate at 3 warongs there and i paid too much for very standard indonesian street food…. The worst is that Banyuwangi stall, you’re been warned …. Go somewhere proper with actual menu and price list, and for nasi campur find a better honest stall….

Great place to visit. Our girls 5 & 8 enjoyed their satay sticks nasi goreng and noodles (cooked piping hot in front of you) - wonderful juices for $1. Clean tables and area, well swept, and tables constantly cleared and wiped, so well organised. Mixture of locals and visitors, casual eating. Even a sink with soap, paper towel and mirror, to use before you start ordering! We were hooked, not a huge place, but everything we tried was better than the outside café/ warung's we ate in cab there and back & dinner for under $12 AUS. So cheap, we ate there about 5 nights. No tummy aches from us! Craving for our next holiday, we will be back.

Stopped in for meal and drinks. Managed to get two beers (small bintang) then tried to order meals. Managed to get a waiters attention and was told he would be back shortly. Waited another 20 minutes then paid 98,000r for the two beers and went somewhere else.

You’ll find a bustling street food vendor scene, with stalls opening after sundown. These night vendors occupy most of its front parking space. Before sunrise, Sindu Market is already very much alive. Plenty of stalls open within the main area sheltered under its large warehouse-like structure. Although it carries ‘traditional’ in its name, the market is clean and modernised. There are around 150 stands lining its ceramic-tiled lanes. Many offer fresh fruits, vegetables and spices, while others sell flowers and young coconut leaves for daily Hindu Balinese offerings.

Amazing streetfood that tastes even better than in expensive restaurants in the area. It is open until 10.00pm and there is a variety of authentic local dishes fresh preparred by the vendors. If you are staying in Samur and if you want to taste the real indonesian food and save a lot of money go definitely there. It's really worthy.

This is a place you will definitely have to check out if you are staying in Sanur! To be honest it is not the best street market I have been to, nevertheless it is still something worth checking out. It is very small relative some of the famous night markets across Asia but they have very traditional Balinese dishes being served by locals in a concentrated area so if you like to explore cultures and foods here is a place to go to!

Use to be very traditional night market, now there is some changes in food mostly, the taste is more for western than locals but they are still good, if you don't mind simple fast food then this is the place, they are cheap too

Tried to go to the night market tonight. I rode my bicycle along the busy road arriving with a sense of accomplishment. As I started to park my bike, a man came over to me demanding money to leave my bike in front of the market. It wasn't a lot but he was quite abrupt, I instead suggested I'd park elsewhere when he followed me telling me I should go somewhere else to eat as there was nothing for me here. Bali has changed.
