Sitara Indian Restaurant Denpasar

Food was scrumptious and well portioned. Owner was very polite and accommodating - the Indian tea was off the charts! Highly recommend it.

No taste, Bad service. We came here for an Indian lunch but veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy bad quality of taste. No tandoor working for naan and roti. Too spicy food.

Butter Chicken: very poor
Dal makhani: good
Gulab jamun: won't want to order again

They are an old restaurant looking at their furniture etc they can do much better with their taste. Food might be ok for foreigners but for Indian average taste. There are much better options in Bali

Order chiken bunna di menu warna dengan saus merah, yang karri ayam. Pas ditanya kok beda dengan gambar, katanya itu menu dari 10 tahun yg lalu, dan chefnya juga beda. Masak restarurant segede ini ganti foto menu 1 abad ganti sekali.

The foods here very delicious and good quality, mutton biryani is also have very soft meat and big portion masala tea also great, will definitely come back again!

Sitara is a place with comfort vibe, tasty food and carefully cooked, the owner also very nice.

Place is nice and parking is limited. The food is ok and we’ve ordered Biryani Mutton, Chicken & Veg. The cheese naan was dry. Overall is just ok

The food and service was excellent. It was fresh and tasted like home cooked food. We enjoyed our meal. We highly recommend it.

Pretty horrible food. Absolutely not Indian taste. Tandoori chicken was fried in oil. And tasted like the oil was possibly reused after cooking fish. Garlic naan was made on some pan and not tandoor. Chicken tikka masala was also below average. Did not enjoy a bit and had to throw away food. Would not recommend to anyone seeking Indian food.

My family love their food so much. So after we were back to Jakarta we ask our friend to bring our order, flying back from bali. We love them all.chicken tika masala, butter chicken, canai bread. Very authentic indian food.

Pertama kali nyobain makanan india rasanya memang berbeda dan dikarenakan "katanya" kokinya hanya 1 orang jadi luama bangettt 2 jam pun ada karena saking penasarannya kita bertahan disana. Makanan keluarnya nyicil satu2, minuman yang anget sampai dingin ga keluar2. Lalu ada grup travel orang india setlah kita pesan, lah kok mereka duluan makannya datang dan alasannya "mereka sudah reservasi" tapi reservasi hanya tempatnya doang, makanan pesan ditempat: (dan yang duluan pesan adalah saya. Dikarenakan makanan b aja dan waktu nungguin lama banget jadi saya kasih bintang 1 karena tidak se satisfying yang saya bayangkan dan diskriminasi antrian karena rombongan travel.

Pastikan menelfon sebelum memesan karena penjual kadang kala tidak ada di toko krn covid-19 efisensi mengueangi karyawan sehingga bekerja sendiri beejuang keras dalam situasi dan kondisi yg tidak pasti sperti saat ini

The butter chicken was creamy and delicious I highly recommend it but I hope next time they would add more chicken.

Goa fish curry was a knock-out, couldn't get enough even though a good size dish! Tandoori chicken was smokey and delicious, naan and rice cooked well, staff were helpful and service was fantastic. Big restaurant, great for family dinners.

Sitara' the 'Star' of India, the Indian Restaurant in Denpasar is very popular in Bali. The ambience is very good and the place is well maintained.

Hotel was good. But quantity was less. You must include some free papad in complementary like queen of india or ganesha or delhi restaurant.but food quality was good. But you don't have masala tea of ginger. That must be added.

I visited Sitara on a midweek evening having read several reviews online in advance. I had mentally noted comments about the warmth of the restaurant, the slow service, the beautiful decor and the tasty food. All of these comments were factual.

I arrived to find the restaurant totally deserted apart from a waitress and the owner (Sonia) who was very welcoming and friendly. I chose my table strategically near to the AC as advised by a previous reviewer. A rather nervous, uncommunicative waitress took my order after several minutes of studying the very extensive menu. She seemed very unsure of herself and I wondered if my order would arrive as requested.

Ten minutes passed and my order did arrive ok. I ordered Peas Pulao, Chicken Dupiaza and Kashmiri naan. Also had a couple of bottles of bintang to help wash it down. The food was delicious and for that fact alone I would recommend others to visit.

The problems with the temperature and nervous staff can be easily rectified and easily forgiven as the food was so good.

I give one star becouse We came and waitres saying they dont have garlic nan bread.how come indian restaurant dont dont have nan bread is well.overpriced

A great place with very calming ambience and smell, I love the smell of spices and the food are amazing I fell into a food coma shortly after. The staffs are nice and friendly. The ranges of menu are amazing, very adventurous for those who haven't tried Indian food, and very authentic for those who miss Indian food.

Nice restaurant for Indian food in Desnpsar, Bali. Food is nice ambience is good and service is also good but little slow. Food quality is good clean. Restaurant is big enough to accommodate 40 50 guests at a time. And it's located at the main road, visible from traffic, Overall good restaurant for indian food.
