The athmosphere of the restaurant is a bit mystical yet warm n cozy. They have a reservation policy if you want to dine on the upper floor. Since I did not know much about Indian cuisine I needed recomendation for the menu and the waiter, Ms. Parsini was very helpful with this. She knew the menu very well and also very patient with my questions. We had Chiken Tikka Masalla and plain Biryani Rice which are so rich and deep in taste. A harmony of spices blend and danced in our mouths. A complex palette of heat, freshness, savoury and sweet pampered our tastebuds. It was quite an experience. The drink we ordered was lime with black salt, it balanced the rich curry taste. The other staff we met were Ms. Meli who gave a spoonful of spice candy to tame the heat and also a very friendly security (sorry we forgot ur name, Sir. But we really enjoy talking to you)
This restaurant was one of the best Indian restaurants in Kuta. The service was perfect. Food was delicious. Everything was amazing about this restaurant. We are from Australia and it was better than the Indian cuisine restaurant we have there. 100% recommend.
Spice Mantraa was a nice experience. We had dinner here and enjoyed the taste and food. A lot of Indians were at the restaurant at the same time as us - seemed like a great indicator as good Indian food.
The flavour of the food was great and they had Bintang buckets we could enjoy while eating.
The location was next to a road, so there was a lot of noise making the atmosphere not ideal.
I did not expect of the restaurant, but the food blew me away. I’ve been a vegetarian for the last 20 years and the restaurant has plenty vegetarian choices. The paneer tikka masala is outstanding.
Placed right in front of the discovery mall, the restaurant has an amazing ambiance. The food is great and pretty authentic. I was travelling with two highly allergic people and the staff took care. The place was fairly vacant in the afternoon but still the service took a little time. It has a good vegetarian menu and ideal for Indian tourists.
One of the finest indian restaurant in Bali. We enjoyed the hospitality and taste. Best place for Indian non veg menu. Much recommend dish mutton biriyani & creamy chicken soup.
WORST dining out experience I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely flavorless and the vegetables were obviously FROZEN. I can’t believe this place has good ratings + so many reviews. Disgusting food. Expensive too. I’d pay TO NOT eat there, I have a stomach ache now.
Very tasty food.its like we eat in india.staff is very helful & polite.even mr.yashbir singh (the executive chef) book a taxi for me on my request.must try when you stay in kuta.thank you spice mantraa for a delicious food & good service.
Was asked 3 times by different waiters 'how is the food sir' while having a bite in my mouth. I had to ask 3rd waiter to please leave me alone and ask your other two staff members. We were with a toddler and when we tried to give water from her baby water bottle, immediate their rude waitress came and reminded us outside food and drinks are not allowed here. Cant believe they can do this with a family with young kids. Food was ordinary, expect to pay higher service charges and tax on top of the menu listed prices I would never recommend it to any friend or family member. AVOID IT!
Excellent quality food with some great taste. Seems the chef they hired is a real master. The authentic north Indian food in south Kuta. The ambience is quite good, very neat and clean environment and the super-fast service. The staff working there is super friendly and speaks very good English with a big smile on the face.
This restaurant is located just in front of the Discovery Mall in South Kuta. We fall in love with this restaurant so much that we didn’t even think about to go anywhere else during our stay in Bali and had all our dinners here and last day lunch as well. The quality and quantity of food is unbeatable.
We tried couple of dishes and taste was awesome. The price is also quite reasonable. Now it’s time for you to go and try if you’re reading my review.
The food isn’t so tasty. I’ve ordered my favourite chicken tikka masala and my friend chicken korma, both were made of chicken thighs meat not breast. The atmosphere and staff is nice tho but little bit overpriced as well.
Serves Indian food but not tastes much Indian though I visited it twice as its in city of kuta. Staff if good.prices are slightly more than normal hotels.but they would have been worth if taste would have been same.has parking facility next to hotel.serves alcohol.no arrangement to carry baby stroller to hotel.have to lift it for 8-10steps.so not sure if there is any wheel chair assist as well.
Amazing Indian food and they use good quality food ingredients. They also serve shisha here for 100,000 rupiah. Expect to spend in excess of 500,000 rupiah for dinner. In western currency this is a good price. They have indoor and outdoor/terrace seating.
Good food and neat ambiance.courteous service.overall a very pleasant experience.however the salt was bit more in Cauliflower Poriyal, medium spice that we ordered!
Awesome food, great service, the waiters are especialy friendly and helpful, food was great, it is my first time eating indian food so I cant compare the taste but I enjoyed it, it was spicy and tasty, will return next time I visit bali.
All those who have a palate for the Indian spices and curries, make sure u eat at this place and enjoy the flavors of India in Kuta, Bali. Exquisite culinary. The add on's are liquor and sheesha (hookah)
The ambiance was great! Service amazing! Food taste excellent but stale. It took the toll and spoiled the vacation. We had dosa and chola bhatura, it seems they r serving preserved food. Highly disappointed! Chef please don’t serve anything which is old, instead prepare fresh gravy!
Nice place for Indian food near the Dynasty mall. Good portions and a bar with a very cool highlight feature. Service was good and there is a lot of seating options.
Delicious food. Excellent customer service. They really care about customer and their needs. If you chance to talk to Manager Shouvik, do that, he is awesome. Thank you lovely people.
Loved it! The whole experience was amazing. Beautiful food very authentic and lovely service. More on the higher end price wise for Bali but definitely worth it.
Disini itu cafenya sgt amat menarik krn spot fotonya banyak bgt.instagramable parah! Dan pegawainya itu ramah2.buat yg non muslim gak banyak pilihan makanan dan minumannya.kalau mau aman ya pesen juice aja
Good food, nice ambience, a little expensive. Butter chicken was sweet was a let down, kadhai paneer was 3/5. Though this was one of the better Indian restaurants in Bali.
Terrible service.we asked to be seated inside where hostess seated us in a corner where aircon wasn’t working. When we asked to be moved she said all the vacant tables where reserved. She refused to assist and said that area where aircon was working had tables reserved for other patrons. We walked out.no one bartered an eyelid!
Went to have lunch with friends. Place is nice, but nothing to do with India decoration's. Food was tasty. Portion a bit small for the price which is quite high. What I didn't like is that on top of price they put 10% Service Charge and Tax on top of all. Why I need to pay for Service Charge if is Restaurant and call waiter many times to come and wait. If you run Restaurant with Staff pay them and don't charge customer 10%. Way to high. Probably First and Last Visit.
Bagi yg biasa makan masakan India mungkin agak beda rasanya, sama seperti bule saat disuruh makan nasi. Tapi, kalau lama2 dimakan, enak juga. Bagi yg Vegan, menu itu ada disini. Kalau soal rasa atau cita rasa masakannya, lumayanlah. Tempatnya enak, cuman kalau siang bolong jadi terasa panas karena terik matahari. Overall, baguslah.
