Symon's Art Zoo

An interesting place, if you are passing by, of course. There is something to see, but the works seemed a little strange.

Very interesting place to visit, you are likely to be greeted by one of the premise’s staff who will happily tell you more about Symon and his art. No entrance fee, it’s donation based.

Very beautiful and interesting. I'm not a fan of art at all, but this looks incredible.

It was a cute art museum on the way to Ahmed from lovina. Some very unique pieces. Good place to stop and stretch your legs

Diverse and immersive collection of interesting and thoughtful artwork, including sculptures and multiple paintings. The location presents itself, in whole and in parts, as further art pieces. It is an unusual, yet pleasant experience, where pieces can also be found on the floor, ceilings and the outdoors. However, the paintings on the floor are usually in a stack, so one doesn't get the opportunity to analyse the entire collection.

The hosts, including some local painters, are quite hospitable.
After the tour, enjoyed a [hot] beverage whilst relaxing on a hammock. From the hammock, had a view of treetops with a bit of the ocean in the horizon. All the while a cool breeze provided much needed relief from the heat.

Entrance was free. Amongst other possible purchases on site, one can also buy woodcuts printed on raincoat-like-fabric.

Tip: A few of the artists works were on display at a nearby restaurant, 'Warung Pesisi & Tourist Information'.

An interesting place to visit on your way to or back from lunch. Lots of paintings and sculpture to see. The place has been pit in a way that involves the viewers to move around and experience all the art forms. Great refreshing view from the bridge and tower and Symon is a nice person in general. Unfortunately for us we got there on a national holiday but Symon was still pleased to show us around a bit, didn’t get to see everything but the little i saw was interesting enough.

Spot foto-foto ataupun penikmat seni bagi yang suka lukisan dan patung". Menariknya masuknya juga gratis jadi orang-orang lokal banyak yg beknjung jg ke sana. Cuma ya seperti kurang dirawat

I love this place! I think Symon is a great artist, tho. And he also inspire and teach his private assistant to do some great art too!

Banyak lukisan dan masuknya masih gratis. Semoga sukses. Tempatnya luas tapi sepertinya kurang perawatan. Yang punya jg ramah.
