Taksu Spa & Restaurants

What can’t be seen off the road is that the facilities are like an exquisite temple! We got the massage, scrub and salt bath package and it was all excellent.

The reception looks modern and new, staff was all nice.i didnt expect it to have such a bigger garden at the back. We have to go through some steep wet stairs to arrive to the massage room. Feels like entering another world. I did the hair treatment, it was okay. And then u got a complimentary drink and 10% disc at the restaurant.

Amazing place! I sincerely had the best massage and facial treatment in my life! I can unconditionally recommend the Taksu Wellness Center. The staff is so friendly and professional and the location is very impressive, it looks like a palace in the jungle. 5 stars!

Beautiful oasis in the middle of Ubud. I had the Royal Ubud Treatment (massage, scrub and flower bath). Best Balinese massage! Relaxation at a high level. I can totally recommend it!

Visited the day spa on 3 occasions and all treatments were fantastic however the best therapist was Yuni. Ensure you ask for her when booking, you won’t be disappointed!

The reception is on the street corner, but the place where you get your massage is a jungle-like oasis deep in the forest behind it, with a very nice atmosphere. I had a massage while listening to the sounds of the nearby stream and the chirping of birds, and it was very soothing. After your massage, we recommend taking a break at the adjacent cafe.

I used this facility twice, once for foot massage and once for facial. Both treatments were amazing and better than other spas I used during my trip. The trip from reception, through the forest and across the river to the treatment rooms is magical. Cafe / lunch menu was also spectacular with a wide variety of options sorted by diet (vegan, vegetarian, keto, or no restrictions). Definitely worth the price and your time!

The space and all the people working there make the experience super magical. I will be back to have a massage with Desi! She did an amazing job:)

Amazing massage.
Staff are excellent and very attentive.
The place is really beautiful as the massage rooms are down a long path and in the garden. So it’s very quiet and peaceful.
There is a complimentary jamu after.

First of all my husband's masseues was sick and coughing all the time (the poor girl should've stayed at home) so my husband said to stop after a little time.
Second the bedsheets had stains.especially the part where i had to put my face on. The rooms are kind of outdoor so you can hear everything from the next room (someone was cleaning the room next to me) so there is no relaxing atmosphere and because it is outdoor there were a few bugs that i felt on my skin and the masseus kept taking them off.

Definitely not the cheapest of spas, but well worth the money. The massage was the best I had in Bali and the scrub made me feel squeaky clean after. The rooms look a little dated but were clean and grime free. Would recommend!

Terrible. We did the booking and when we arrived they had no availability.we stopped going elsewhere and wasted our time

I had foot massage and scrub, balinese boreh and floral bath. I can recommend everything! I loved the place and room where you have the treatment.

Dear lord, what an amazing massage and facial… My therapist Ayu gave me probably the best massage I’ve had! Was in some serious pain from a sciatic issue and she found every last pain and flayed it out of me! I’m floating on clouds about now

One of the best hot stone massages I've ever had (and I've been living in South East Asia for 7 years so had quite a few). My masseuse Rika was outstanding! Strong yet gentle and definitely knows her craft. To top it all the Taksu facilities are top notch. Serene, beautiful, clean and very welcoming.

Such a relaxing Balinese massage with Pupsa! After a long travel from France, this was just divine! And the environment could not be more peaceful. 100% recommend!

Great menu with lots of vegetarian options. Very low price with good service. Most important they have free parking difficult in Ubud now to park a car.

Had a lovely massage (but don’t forget to book your treatment beforehand because they always busy).

Although the site is quite impressive, it’s SO dirty, water from the river brown and smelly, and the the massage huts are outdated and not « healing » as they sell it.

It was noisy around the hut as workers were cleaning after the rain, the therapist had to prepare the bath while the session was occurring, the music was too loud most likely to cover up the noise.overall not relaxing at all.

The prices are 30% more expensive then the rest in Ubud. This was recommended in the latest Lonely Planet book. I highly suggest they reevaluate this venue. Was probably nice 10 years ago. Not so true now.

Great quiet garden retreat area. Yoga classes & Teacher training available over 200 hrs a month. Bahasa Indonesia classes also. Nice Restaurant with Vegan dishes & Make ur own juice options.

I had to write this review straight away as the massage I had was the best I've had in Bali. Puspa was amazing. She knew exactly how to completely relax me into heavenly bliss. The flow was smooth, the pressure perfect and it never was rushed. I highly recommend you book a massage with Puspa and I can't wait to go back again and again. The setting and treatment areas are serene with the gentle sounds of palms drifting in the breeze and water babbling softly down the river. A massage at Taksu spa is the most peaceful spa experience. It doesn't get any better than this. I actually have gone to Karsa for years but I will now only go to Taksu. Thank you Taksu for a dreamy experience.

Beautiful place in the heart of Ubud, it's so peaceful inside. I went twice for Balinese massage sessions, both therapists were just great. I also did a Hatha yoga class with Agung and loved it! Will definitely come back next time.

This hidden treasure can not be reach with a car, only can be found by the people using their feet to search the palace, warned us before. But the place is awesome.

This is a lovely spa and restaurant! I’ve stayed here for a month doing yoga teacher training with shades of yoga. The staff and owner are so welcoming and friendly. The salads and breakfast is very delicious and fresh. I got a 60 min massage with Sukasih and she was amazing. Also one of the staff (Iluh) was the sweetest, one day she saw me walking to Taksu and picked me up on her scooter to drive me there. What fantastic service by such great people.

This is a real hidden spot of Ubud. We just had the dinner at the garden restaurant and I felt that this was the best culinar experience in Bali by now. We are here the second time this year. The entire menu is a fine and original combination of international food and drinks. The chef is definitely a very well trained professional and I congratulate him for the passion and effort! The service is excelent. As an advice, be carrefoul when you order more than the main course, the portions are huge!

We went just to the Restaurant for a drink. (Coffe and Coconut) But we love it! This place is so relaxed and tranquil, nice atmosphere.

My girlfriend and i had the package deal here for bodyscrub, balinese massage, facial and flower bath and we highly recommend. This is the most professional spa we have been to. We also have dinner here a buddha bowl that was amazing. A must visit for all tourists in ubud

I was so much looking forward to this massage since Taksu made a great first impression online and had many good reviews.
Unfortunately I left the place very disappointed and annoyed. There are many things to improve, beginning with the ambience (f.e. The lights are full on, when they remove your eyemask after the treatment, it’s really uncomfortable). My massage was more like an average one you get in one of the little street SPAs, nothing what you expect in a high quality Wellness center. The masseuse has no real plan what she was doing and hurt me many times with scratching my skin with her nails.
After the treatment I filled in the Feedback Formular and let the front desk lady know that I’m not quite happy, but there was no reaction to it.
One day after I woke up with the worst neck pain. I couldn’t move my head to the left or right anymore.

The property indeed looks great, but it’s highly unlikely that i will come back - especially not for this amount of money spent for a post-massage-pain!
Super disappointed.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga with Indra was very impressive. Slow down is the path! If you follow Indra's instructions you will be surprised how big is the outcome after only one time practicing and especially just small slow movements. It is very different to other yoga classes I have joined so far. I defenitely could feel my spine became longer and my posture improved. I can't believe how much you can change with minimal input. It is absolutely awesome. Indra is a very patient teacher as well. I immediately booked another class the following day. He is also teaching Restorative Yoga in Radiantly Alive. Have a look! Don't miss his class. Thank you Indra - your class has been a highlight in Ubud for me.

We did a bali couple massage. The location is very nice, the massages were amazing. Only complain I have is that the water in the fish ponds was very murky and stinky.
