Amazing place, I highly recommend it, I was impressed by the beauty of this place, transmitting peace without mentioning a beautiful landscape of nature
Stunning place, natural beauty as well as a view that is breathtaking! If you like connection with everything in nature and a lot of learning, you're in the right place, you know that place where the photos deliver everything. That destination experience, where nature, learning and an unforgettable record come together.
In short, my visit to Ceking Rice Terrace was a truly rejuvenating experience. The natural beauty, serenity and commitment to conservation make this place an unmissable destination for nature lovers. I can't wait to return and explore more of this natural gem.
If you are new to Bali, Indonesia and you would like to explore how rice cultivation is happening, what the farmers are doing in the rice Terrace then this place is definitely recommended for you.
Pros: 1) Good feeling when you see the rice fields 2) You can donate farmers for taking pictures with the rice bunches along with your family 3) Swing is also available 4) Free restrooms
Cons: 1) Location is a bit far away from Kuta 2) Traffic so plan early

Exceptional view of the rice terraces. Very different from the SWING TERRASSE 5 minutes by car. The terraces are free to access after paying the entrance ticket 25krp / person. He then asks for 150krp per swing per person. You decline and can negotiate 50krp if you are interested. Then access and complete on the slope of the terraces. To pass on the other side, it's 10krp/person. You can take pictures of yourself in straw hearts.
This place is a trap, but if you spend long enough in bali I guess you gota stop of to take a pee in the bush at some point. Okay nothing bad about this place, but there's nothing worthwhile here, an OK view (standard view for bali) for 10x the price.
Recomended.
Beautiful photo spot in ubud. Cost $1 each for parking. Now has swings, birds nests, trampoline & restaurants. Steps are steep so careful especially in the wet!
A bit overrated in my opinion. The views were nice, but not the prettiest of rice terraces. It’s still unique to see how the rice is grown and there are other things nearby to see and do. You have to pay extra to participate and view other things, which wasn’t much, but we thought it seemed like a waste of time and money, unless you are that person who is trying to get that Instagram worthy photo (which is why I think this place got so famous in the first place).
Beautiful but they are asking for money to enter from some parts otherwise they don’t let you in. I have been there 4 times already and only the last time they were asking for money to enter
Beautiful place, but get dropped off on the street. Most drivers will take you to a carpark where you pay for a ticket to get in. You don't need this, Tegallalang is free, it's a street, spend your money at the local shops to help their businesses.
Don't forget to bring enough water.the walk would be an hour or two of high impact cardio in a very humid environment.beware of ants & mosquito too:) worth every drop of sweat though.
We paid the entrance fee 100,000 rupiah per person at the desk near the car park, and a guy collected it at the end of the road before joining the Main Street where the fields are located. He did not even tear it up or whatever just took the full paper: So basically I am not even sure if this was required since the entrance was further down the road (around another 100m) and anyone can just walk in. Now we arrive at the entrance and start walking and after 10 minutes the road is blocked by a little boy who wants donation. It started raining so we gave up and made our way back. My advice is to just go to one of the cafes along the side of the road, where you get an amazing view. Just get a drink and some snacks and enjoy the landscape rather than paying entry fees and donations.
Beautiful large rice terrace, SUPER busy and touristy however. So busy we didn’t bother to walk inside it, just take photos from the restaurants patio. Had a warm beer and terrible fruit plate at the restaurant. Yuck
Too crowded visitors when public holidays! But the scenery is always beautiful and you can enjoy food and beverages on the top of the hill. Don't forget trying to swing! Increase your adrenaline to maximum! If you want to trek along the terrace, bring enough water.
A major disappointment. The once beautiful rice terrace is now littered with small cafes offering giant slingshots and selfie spots that in some ways succeed in attracting more visitors, but abysmally obstruct the view. I came here for nothing.: (
These are beautiful and home to a huge rice paddy swing and a zip line. But you don’t really need them; the paddies are just beautiful in themselves and very green at the moment.
A very famous waterfall. Tons of water coming down. You can see how powerfull it is. The scenery is amazing from the top. But for my it doesn't get better when you go down. You're to far from the waterfall. Swiming under is forbidden. (Rocks falling). You will also find a small temple and a pool filled by natural water
Absolutely stunning! Even there was a lot of people you still can find your own spot. If you dont run onto group of chineese:) (why are they looking at the rice anyway?)
