The Champlung Bar & Restaurant

This is the first time for me and my friend to come to this place, I really like the atmosphere but there is something that makes me very annoyed when I want to order. I am waited in front of my eyes which is very bad and when explaining spent for the order with loud pronunciation, it is not recommended to come here if the service not changed, very bad service from a woman

Unbeatable view.plenty of bike parking close by, nothing for cars, or just walk up from the beach.good service.great coffee and juices.clean bathrooms.

I order shisha and they ask me to pay extra 30,000RP for charcoal witch I feel so weird, I never saw this in any place.
I ordered a cocktail they forget about it and they bring it to me after 30min.
The bathroom are disgusting, so dirty.
The only thing good was the location close to the beach and live music.

I was able to hang out at the beach bar. The beer was delicious, the desserts were delicious, and we were able to enjoy the sunset.

In line with other restaurants on the beach, with the bonus that there is no minimum expense like in the La Plancha right beside

We had ice cream and beers, ice cream was very basic.

Other than that the place is ok, live music after 5-530pm, good place to watch the sunset

Totally great atmosphere, food, and service. Amazing wings. Great staff gave me a discount at 14 Ink locally. Very, very happy and impressed.

Food was really lousy… ingredients not fresh.but having a stage by the beach back facing the waves is great.

Had dinner, got a mango mojito, greek salad and mushroom pasta! Pasta was a bit too salty for me, but otherwise the food was alright! Great sunset view and live music:)

I got charged double today. When ordering calculate your order to avoid this embarrassing surprise!

Bathroom disgusting. Never seen something so dirty.
Really slow service, despite there are several waiters. We took a fruit salad, really low quality. We left it there.

Great sunset spot for drinks! The fresh young coconuts are chilled and great to scoop out the flesh after. The nasi goreng is probably the best I had all holiday!

Beach bar with live music on every night (in summer at least) and there was two live traditional Indonesian performances on while we were there, on Saturday and Monday, which was fab.

Drinks are reasonably priced and the beds/bean bags outside on the beach are comfy.

Had a nice lunch here. The service was good, staff were friendly and the food was tasty. Great spot to relax and enjoy the views with a meal or some drinks.

We had the nasi goreng, French fries and chicken wings. Very affordable and good portion size
Everything was nice and we will be coming back again during our stay here in Seminyak.

First visit to the place. Good live music that starts around sunset time. F&B is so so for the price range on offer and they don't have happy hours on offer like other places (hence the 4-stars instead of 5). Ambience is good for a hang out time with friends and families.

Dined in for a late meal with a group of 6, food here was terrible. Ribs were served cold, steaks very undercooked, and staff not willing to accept feedback. After sending a meal back and 3 other meals barely touched, they ended up not charging for two meals. It cost us all the next day as the entire group was ill that night and the next morning. Do not recommend.

Atmosphere is good, but less crowded compared to the Le Plancha. Try their Pizzas, they are really best!

Great location, good food, watch the sunset. Nice that the prices were the prices, not adding tax and service charge afterwards.

Mahal, jir. Haha. Tapi wajar si di Double Six Beach. Nice spot for sunset seeing. Ini juga minuman dan cemilannya termasuk range sedikit masuk akal.dibanding yang lain. Bean bag di atas pasir nya juga cuco.

A beach bar/restaurant can’t only rely on the location. The service was slow, the food was mediocre and let’s not forget the restroom facilities. Hope they do not reflect the standard of the kitchen. The positive side I can say is the WiFi is good. My advice is to find another place for lunch.

Location is great, but there are a lot of MSG in the food they serve. I am MSG sensitive and I got a few hours of sickness after the meal. Food is average in quality.

Apabila suasana sedang ramai, mereka kadang menetapkan minimal charge yang harus kita bayar. Usahakan melakukan negosiasi. Bila mereka tetap ngotot, pilihan ada pada anda.tetap di resto ini atau pindah tempat.

Below average food (frozen vegetables, dirty salad, etc) but ok service and music. Choose another place if you want to have a good meal

Ideally positioned on the beach with excellent views and protection from the sun/wind. Good food and excellent service. Well worth a visit. Try the chilli chips - delicious.

While it's still light out, The Champlung's crowd level pales in comparison to it's neighbour on the right. However, its main draw is really the live band, which starts playing just slightly before sunset.

I loved their tunes - acoustic renditions of modern pop songs - & this was the reason why I decided to come here. Despite telling myself I need to cut down on drinking, & despite the sun having already set.

All I wanted to do was chill with beer in hand, listening to good tunes. & I got that with my Bintang Radler (40K IDR nett) slightly cheaper than their next door neighbour's. It is served in a beer koozy, which keeps your beer colder for longer. I like!

The band plays 3 sets per night - in between, the lounge remix music is pretty in line with their chillax vibes. I sat next to the speakers on the left & it wasn't blaringly loud.

If you had only one choice, come here. You'll have a good time

The good: sea view and live music - the singer/ guitarist sang non-stop for the two hours we were there. The bad: the food - there was a large group of us and we ordered across the Indonesian, Seafood and Western menu; the fish, seafood and grilled meats were all severely over-cooked, the pizza tasted frozen, and the only items passable (and not particularly tasty) were the nasi goreng and satay. The Balinese house red (Hatten label, but they told us there was no bottle to show us) was undrinkable - stick to Bintang beer if you visit.
