The Magani Hotel and Spa

Excellent in every way! We stay here every trip to Bali. The staff are amazing, the location is perfect, rooms are great, very secure, great food and entertainment. Can’t rate this place highly enough!

We arrived before check in which is 3 and were greeted with an arrival drink. We were able to leave our bags at reception so that we could have a look around and grab some late lunch. Once we got back to the hotel and were able to check in. Ensure you get a room that overlooks the pool with a balcony and not a room that overlooks other buildings these I must say would be very boring and there would be no atmosphere and would feel not part of the hotel. We had a room with an adjoining room. The doors between the rooms were both shut but could hear some sound between rooms. Loved staying here great location to everything and the room was decent. The breakfast was fantastic being buffet you could eat as much or as little as you like. The pool was great with a swim up pool bar. My only disappointing aspect from my stay was the loud drunk behaviour late in the afternoon early evenings of some of the people still in the pool drinking and smoking in the pool. They were very loud with inappropriate language. Considering there were other kids in the pool still I thought these few loud people could have toned it down a bit. However this they did calm down once it started turning into night. We did have a small issue that the balcony door wouldnt lock the first night we were there but maintence were soon on the case and sorted that thanks. Apart from this I would definitely come back again and stay here, the location is fantastic and so handy to everything.

Fabulous hotel. Light rooms, super comfy bed, good pool but the best is the staff who are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Oh and happy hour and cocktails are all day

Hotel has a such a good location close to shopping and the beach as well as the friendliest staff who are always willing to go the extra mile, specifically Sari who was our absolute favourite:). Buffet breakfast and facilities were amazing! Couldn’t recommend it more, we will definitely be back.

This hotel is a very comfortable place and with reasonable room rate to stay during your holiday in Bali.

We love The Magani. We have been staying with them for many many years.
We have stayed twice in the last 3 months and the service and still as good as was pre covid. Rooms are clean very central to everything in Legian. Breakfast is beautiful. But most of all the staff are amazing. Would like to specially mention Dwi and the amazing Mia who treat you like family. Can’t wait to return

Most friendly staff ever! We got to the Magani late at night and were welcome by the staff. They got our bags and gave us welcome drinks which were delicious! We got in our rooms which were huge. They had huge soft pillows which were the best in the world. The food there was super good and the breakfast was lovely. We had staff looking after us and always ask us if we needed anything. One night there was an earthquake but the beds were too nice that I did not get out.

Some nights they have a drag queen show which was super funny and had I lots of fun. Super happy that I went here and will come back. Very good!: D

We just got home from an 8 night stay at the magani. We just loved loved loved it! Everything about the hotel and its staff was just amazing. Great pool and swim up bar, gorgeous breakfast. Perfect location. Comfortable beds and pillows. It had everything we wanted and more. We found our Bali hotel ️. Thanks so much to all the staff for making our stay so lovely. And really great guests to chat to as well

From the minute I arrived i was welcomed with a smile and throughout the stay all the staff were friendly and always had a smile. I was upgraded to a suite for not sure what reason but it had an amazing Jacuzzi on the balcony. My room was big, very spacious and had all the amenities. Security were brilliant, always there to answer any questions and provide assistance. Very close walk to the beach and this hotel lies between Kuta and Seminyak so you can go either way to explore. I didn’t get a chance to use the Pool as it was always a bit crowded. Good selection for breakfast buffet and there is always entertainment in the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The Magani hotel is a modern hotel The rooms are fairly spacious and modern but there are a number of faults.

They have a 3 PM check in which is ridiculous and there's only 3 or 4 hotels in Bali that have that stupid policy.   They offer free Wi-Fi but only for 2 devices which is ridiculous in this day and age, and much cheaper hotels offer free Wi-Fi to all devices.   The wifi is mediocre and drops it up from time to time.

The hotel is made in the U shape surrounding the Courtyard where the pool is located with all the rooms looking at or over the pool.

The rooms have 2 sofas and a large desk and chair.   However, even though the sofas look quite presentable they re not very comfortable and sre covered in a cheap canvas feel horid material

The hotel provides these stupid useless glass front coolers which barely keep anything below room temperature and are absolutely useless in a hot climateso you couldnt keep any drinks cold.   Why a modern hotel would be providing such poor quality room fridges in a hot climate is beyond one's wildest imagination.

There is a reasonable sized balcony with 2 chairs where you can sit on the balcony and look over the pool area.

The housekeeping is fairly poor when they come in each day they don't pick up half of the things and they don't put away things like the hair dryer which sat beside the wash basin for the entire stay. The housekeeping staff don't do any wiping down a benches, never once cleaned the soap dish and yet they claim they do extra cleaning for protection against covid. Definitely not the case.

The shower It's OK with a reasonable water pressure.

The bed was reasonably comfortable with some large comfy pillows.

They do provide really good quality soft bathroom towels which is good to see because many hotels in Bali offer scratchy raggy towels.   The towels they provide are soft and good quality.

They don't provide umbrellas in the rooms for guests and again hotels at half the price in the area do that.

The room.service menu prices were reasonable but the food was not. I ordered mei Goering and In the description they claimbed to have shrimp Beef, chicken and vegetables and this was a very disappointing dish not only was there no shrimp anywhere in the dish, but the tiny places of beef and chicken were dry and horribly overcooked and I would have rated the food 1 out of 10.

Even though my stay here was reasonably pleasant I found it to be overpriced with so many things they did not cover or cater for.   There are plenty of hotels with much better TV's, bathrooms, and much better Wi-Fi and far more power outlets. Those features detract from the overall vquality and experience of the hotel.

They provide a very old dated LCD TV which by the look of the features must have been purchased over 10 years ago and they need to be replaced because they don't cater to further modern society and again being a modern hotel this fails dismally.   This very distinctive lack of powerpoints to charge your devices or laptop with only 1 free powerpoint in the entire room which means you have to unplug one of the lights to charge a second device.

I do not think it is worthy of 4 stars and I do not think it is worth the price they charge.

Extremely friendly staff, boutique hotel with swim up bar with 2 for 1 cocktails all day, great choice of food and drinks in Mozerella Restaurant. Clean resort and excellent buffet breakfast The pillow were the best pillows ever and very comfy beds Great location, with shops and restaurants nearby Our room Triple Deluxe Suite with Spa Bath was spacious and amazing

Service Staffs are friendly, Warm, Smily, attentive and approachable making us feel Welcome️The environment is clean. The ambience is comfortable and relaxing. The foods served are fresh and tasty Triple Thumbs up from us️

In Service industry, it’s all about service. It’s getting the right people to work things right.

Hotel yang bagus, pelayanan sangat memuaskan, kamar bersih dan breakfastnya enak ada menu lokal dan berbagai macam roti, buah segar, dan ada bacon juga, kamar terdia balkon dan ada tipe kamar tertinggi yg mendapat jacuzi, parkiran d basement luas, sangat dekat dengan pantai kuta, bisa berjalan kaki saja, cocok untuk menginap saat liburan bersama keluarga, pasangan dan juga berbisnis.

I can highly recommend The Magani hotel I have been here for 10 days and everyday has been absolutely awesome the staff are great the pool the service and the location.
I will be back.

Absolutely terrible, all promises but delivered nothing. Don’t stay there you will regret it. Disgusting.

Absolutely loved this place! My partner and i went in December last year for the first time and we loved it. Staff are all so welcoming and really lovely, Rooms are immaculate and love all the facilities, Breakfast was also lovely. Great value for money well be returning next time i visit Bali!

Nice staff and shade for swimming. Unfortunately, the hotel is smoking and the second hand smoke gets trapped in the complex. Too many smoking guests ruined it for the kids.

When I was traveling to Bali, Magani was one the best places I've been in my life the atmosphere was amazing everyone was kind and helpful. At the end of the stay I want to stay longer. The breakfast was absolutely extraordinary and the way it was surrounded by stores, it was really like the heart of Kuta and I loved the beach sunset and easy walk there and back. The pool and rooms were clean and ready for use. Anther thing was the free air conditioning was like walking into a way of relief if you are staying in Kuta, believe me Magani is a place of magic no- matter how big or small your travel group is you should stay at this beautiful hotel and spa. If you stay here I know you will have the same experience as me and my family. Travelers good luck with your travel.

Wonderful holiday destination.
This beautiful hotel is fantastically situated in a great location. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff will look after you from the moment you step foot into the hotel, for the duration of your stay. You wont want to go home. The rooms are a great size, air conditioning, room service, housekeeping is top notch. The pool and swim up bar is always a fun place to be with exceptional service from the pool staff. Everything you need is super close by, cant recommend this wonderful hotel enough.

The Magani is a great hotel, in the best location in Legian. The staff are gorgeous, the rooms immaculately clean and the buffet breakfast is really varied. Splurge a little and stay in their pool view suite, it's massive with a private spa on the balcony. Their Visala spa is really affordable too.

Very friendly staff. Lots options for breakfast and nice coffee. Loved having breakfast on the patio and people watching. Thank you for the great stay.

We got great deal online when we booked our room during the low season, then when we arrived they offered us an upgraded room with a spa, lounge room and pool view for a third of the normal rate. The room is excellent. Very clean & comfortable with not one but 2 tv's.
The staff are very friendly and eager to help in any way they can. Loving it here & cant wait to come back. A big shout out to Niko at the pool and Citra in the lobby for their excellent friendly service.

Spacious room, nice decoration, nice and tasty food- not that expansive like other place, service is good. Happy to be here for the second time in a month.

Good breakfast wirh a range of choices for everyone, great service, excellent cleanliness and prompt room service. The massage spa is absolutely excellent. Worth every cent! Beautiful hotel and excellent location. Only down side is the hotel room only got 1 power outlet to charge (where the table lamp is). Need to unplug the lamp if want to charge phone. Otherwise charge in the toilet sink.

We had a plunge pool room here for 2 weeks, cannot fault, excellent location, buffet breakfast, mozzarella restaurant, money exchange convienently located in the lobby, swimup pool bar. Friendly and helpful ataff. Awesome security, we left our scooter key in the ignition and they kept the key safe until we returned. The girls in the Spa do the best massages well done totally enjoyed our stay.

Great places to stay. Central to everything, close to the beach, shopping, and a lot of restaurants. Staff is excellent and great service. Will stay there again. Will recommend to others. Cheers to all

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The Magani experience starts when you walk in the lobby with all staff clearly working together to create a unified positive experience from check in until check out. The rooms are modern, well appointed and in our experience better quality than some international name brand chains we've been in. The buffet breakfast is plentiful in options. Well done to the team at Magani, we will recommend to all and will be returning on our next trip to Bali.

Large clean rooms, nice pool and friendly staff. Food is good value though small portions. Great buffet breakfast.
The only reasons I gave it 1 star is because the water in the shower and spa was only luke-warm our whole stay, and was never hot even after many promises to get it fixed. After 3 days we were told that because the room was so far from the hot water service that we had to keep it running for 15 minutes before it would get hot. It still didn't get hot and we were then told that that is as warm as it gets. Didn't appreciate being lied to. We only booked it to have hot spas. The second disapointment is the outside extraction fan runs all night and day and is extremely noisy. There is no way to turn it off so had to put up with the constant drone of it. Will not likely return.

Very disappointed after all the good comments this places has. As soon as we got here were left waiting 30mins to get to are room and come well after 2 o'clock so really shouldn't of been a problem and in all that time waiting no welcome drink! Then finally got are room on the 5th floor were we couldn't even get wifi to work in the room and the shower water was cold for more aless whole stay.are room all so backed on to a noisy ally and building site and also decorating the room next door very noise workers.ive stayed in lots of hotels in bali and most time payed a lot less and have all been a lot better would not stay here again very disappointed

My partner and I loved staying here. We stayed in a private pool room. The bed and pillows are super comfortable and big! The shower has a door that goes straight out into the pool area which is very handy. The pool was good temperature, clean and there is also a cover which was nice for when it was raining or when you don’t want too much sun. If you don’t go with a private pool room, the hotel pool was also beautiful, had a lot of seats and even a pool bar.
Some of the only downsides is that there are some ants and sometimes around the sink in the bathroom and that some parts of the room seemed a little outdated but still does the job.

The place itself is beautiful, close walking distance to everything, otherwise can get a bluebird taxi easily. The people are also lovely and always happy to help with a smile.

The breakfast buffet has quite a good selection of food. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant (Mozarella) and each dish we had was delicious.

I also recommend trying out their spa. It’s one of the best ones I’ve been to. I had a 60min foot massage, a little manicure and we also had a couples massage (60mins), which we bought the vouchers with the room booking.

First stay at Magani, on recommendation of family members. Just a four day stay to wind down a 26 day Bali holiday. I took the option of prepaying several months ago, hoping to keep the visit seamless and simple. Started check in process around 1430hrs, thinking I would be in my room in 5 minutes. “If you would like to sit down, we are just checking status of your room. ” After almost 25 minutes. ”Sorry for delay, your room is now ready. ”. When I checked my breakfast vouchers I see my original room 5029 is crossed out and replaced by room 2029, which is much closer to the street. But on the upside I was greeted with a Birthday cake in my “new” room. It’s not my Birthday but I hope the guest who was to occupy my room had a nice day. More to follow.but on a more positive note, my first breakfast was really good, the usual Bali selections but well prepared and presented. And the coffee was excellent.

We have been at the Magani now for the third time and we are totally happy.
The stuff is very friendly and always very helpful. The hotel is very comfortable and well maintained.
The rooms are very huge and comfortable and we did not miss anything.
The breakfast at Mozarella Restaurant is fantastic and providing in combination with the excellent service
a very good start in the day which we were always enjoying.
The restaurant is offering a very good selection of meals, drinks and cocktails for a good price and again the
stuff and service is always very kind.
The included Spa Area is superb and we can only recommend a visit.
The location is on the main street and the beach is quite close and can easily reached.
Also Kuta or Seminyak can be reached within 10 - 15 minutes.
We were fully happy and will come back again.

Great place, the suite is of a decent size with a very nice jacuzzi. Hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly. Surrounding has alot of shops for shopping as well as drinks and food. Highly recommended
