The Point Resort

Very enjoyable stay at the Point Resort. A little off the beaten track so be sure to grab a scooter during your stay there. Resort staff helped us out with this as well as a morning snorkel tour to see the manta rays. Great pool, rooms tidy, lovely staff and service. The point bar at sunset is def a must and be sure to add Nick’s place, Oishi, The deck, cafe at lago and Hai restaurant at mushroom bay to your eatery list. Best swim at Dream beach (go at highish tide and don’t bother eating there).

The point resort has a perfect location the view from the pool is amazing.
The room was very good (small downside the air conditioning was very noisy).
Everyone was very nice, the manager booked us a private duo massage in our room and a 3-hour snorkeling session with 3 stages which was really great!
We were able to see dolphins from our terrace, it was incredible!

We have just recently returned from 4 incredible nights staying hat the incredible property. It was a seamless service from the initial booking to organizing ferry transfer from the mainland and arrival at the resort. The rooms all look out to Mount Agung over the sea providing incredible views. Komang rans an incredible operation and nothing was ever too much hassle for him or anyone of his staff. Once gain the incredible service Bali provides. The sunset bar which is a 1 minute walk from the resort provides the most incredible place to sit and watch sunset back over to the mainland. We cannot wait to book another stay at the resort. I could escape here for a month without any problems at all.

Outstanding stay at The Point. Boutique style resort of only 4 rooms with a spectacular view.

The place is very relaxing, service is amazing.

The room has everything you need, with a huge bed and an endless water view.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very nice and the staff was courteous. The view from the pool is breathtaking and you can experience beautiful sunsets.

We came to watch the sunset and drink coffee, but the menu only included black coffee in a kettle and we were just about to leave when a man from the staff ran up to us and began to kick us out of the establishment in a raised voice, saying that these were not places for free seating. And he repeated this until we completely left the territory, drawing the attention of all visitors to us. Disgusting attitude towards visitors! Thanks for spoiling the mood!

Probably the best stay of our entire trip! The view was really something else, rooms we'll maintained and staff was polite and courteous. The best thing was probably the location and the privacy that this property offered.

However, would like to see a better/larger menu with more choice in the years to come as we would surely love to come back. That being said, the food was good!

Amazing! We spent 3 days at the Point and it was by far the best accommodation we have been here in Bali. Only 4 rooms and great views, the staff was always taking care of us and helping us organize and move in the island. The rooms and facilities were all renovated and the wifi good if you need to work. We would definitely go back and recommend it to all of our friends.

The location is the best. You have an infinity pool with ocean view. In the ocean there are dolphins, Manta rays, turtles swimming at times.
It is an absolute joy to just sit in the pool for hours. They've good spots for eating meals too. There's also a sunset point where people come in the evenings.
The rooms are also pretty good, good bed size and there's a porch outside with chairs and sofa.
The staff is good, not extra ordinary. Food prices are too high and we generally ordered food from outside.

We truly had the most wonderful stay here, it really was a little slice of heaven on earth.

We were warmly welcomed by the lovely manager Komang and the bar staff with an ice cold and freshly made lemonade/juice which was the perfect start to the holiday.

There are only four rooms here and due to Covid we were the only guests for the weekend.

The stay itself was magical, the view is spectacular, we saw dolphins and turtles and felt utterly lucky to be there. The peaceful atmosphere was perfect for us as we hired a bike and stocked up on pool snacks and even had wine delivered by the local shop.

Komang was the perfect mix of super hospitable without being over the top, he left us to enjoy the pool and the view in peace, but made it very clear he was available around the clock via whatsapp if we needed anything at all.

There were a great range of breakfasts that were available, served in the restaurant or on your balcony.

The view here is phenomenal, that topped with the lovely Manager and being able to enjoy dolphin and turtle spotting by the pool meant this was one of the most wonderful weekends ever.

The best accomodation on our 2-week trip in Bali. The view from the infinity pool is amazing, not to mention the upper terrace where you are surrounded by the sea. They have a nice lobby and restaurant area. The manager is very nice, he let me use his outdoor gym equipment (hardcore lifting only). They lent us scooters and we could explore the beautiful parts of Lembongan. I'm glad we didn't stay only in Bali. We will miss this place.

We were quite disappointed with the Point (especially for the premium cost you pay). We are a Canadian couple in our 30s who have spent 3 weeks travelling Bali and Lombok and spent time at 4 different properties. The Point was one of the highest prices we paid and the lowest service. You obviously are paying for the viewpoint and that is about all.please know that we do not expect to be waited on hand or foot by any means lol but there was little to no service, especially when you compare it to the other places we stayed at in our journey all of which costed substantially less.
The good:
-The view and the location (10 minute walk to mushroom beach, dream beach and devils gear)
- great wifi
- cold mini fridge
- good tv
- the Warung down the street (k jendra) we ate there every day just to avoid the staff at the Point and honestly.we’d rather help a kind local man than the resort.

The disappointments:
- the staff are very inattentive - again, we prefer not to be waited on but this place had no service (and again, for the price that is quite crazy!) we would spend 6 hours sitting at the pool and not once asked if we wanted some water or to buy a beverage. When we went to ask the staff a question they would always be sitting (hiding) on the floor playing on their phones. I understand when staff are busy with their hands full but there are only ever a max of 8 guests.
- the rooms were quite dirty (which honestly, we aren’t that picky with - we understand it’s bali and there is going to be smells and critters but the towels and mosquito nets reeked: ().
- our bath tub would only fill up 1 inch haha, we didn’t even bother to let management know as we found him not really that helpful and we just wanted to enjoy our last few days in Bali and make it the best we could?
- the pool is gorgeous but the set up is so silly! There is only seating for 6 (2 beds and 2 single chairs) makes for an awkward situation when all the guests would like some pool time.

Honestly. I could keep going but why!? With this review I just hope to save you some money! It’s a gorgeous location but way way way overpriced! We stayed at the Pramana in ubud and Sanur and pink cocoa in gili air.all in which blew us away with their kindness and service. We certainly did not feel the Balinese love at this resort and we’re quite sad this is where we finished our amazing adventures in Indonesia!

My partner and I spent two nights here and it was seriously the highlight of our whole trip. The location and hotel itself is breathtaking with ocean views from the pool. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were lovely and attentive. We also want to say a special thank you to the manager who took extra care of us and helped my partner with spear fishing off the rocks. He waited with me for nearly four hours to supervise my partner while he was in the water. We are so grateful for your service and hospitality and we can’t wait to be back!

A perfect choice and quiet getaway for our honeymoon! Staff was very friendly, helpful, and they can arrange anything you ask for. 85% of what we spent on Lembongan we either got from here or they arranged it. Yes it's a little out of the way but we weren't looking for a party resort and the few bad reviews of this place probably were expecting that. It's a 15 min walk to Mushroom Beach (4 stars) and 20 mins walk from Devil's Tear (5 stars) but it has a less known set of cliffs that face the sunset only 2 mins before you enter the property. Most people arrange a scooter for the day but we decided to walk it. There are only 4 villas on the entire property so you'll likely chat or say hi with the others who are staying but each one has its own view and privacy. We stayed in #4 and that's likely the best one if you had to choose. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.

For the bad reviewers out there, this is a developing island and this is their livelihood so be courteous and tell them directly if they missed something or could improve before you post on something public

Just got back last night and I'm already in the planning stage for our stay there again asap. It' perfect for what hubby and I need. Btw I fell asleep 3 times during the massage waking myself up by my own snoring lol. Fantastic accommodation, views, staff and food.there's nothing else like it at The Point on Lembongan. The feeling of a completely relaxed calm and peaceful experience is what you will get when you stay here.

Great spot to get away from the craziness of all the traffic. Well priced and great hospitality.

Only come here for the view and sometimes dolphin sighting.

If you are looking for comfort, quality food, excellent service, clear idea of activities, cultural and local feeling, it is unfortunately not here.

Also, local animals may occasionally crawl into the room. There is a horrid humid smell of the mosquito net (sometimes stained), towels, bedsheets, floor, wall. Hard to be pleasant.

View is stunning, breakfast is average, AC is not strong enough for the rooms, staff are very friendly and helpful.

PROS: As everybody mentions, the pool and the view are wonderful, no doubt. It is basically what you are paying for. The motorbike they had for rent was new and price was good.

CONS: The property is rated as a four star hotel and resort. However, it is not by far what you would expect from a property with that category. As seen in the photos, the hotel's state is not good, the rooms are poorly decorated, dirty and in need of renovation. There are no amenities in the bathroom, none at all (just some empty hand soap bottle and some shampoo). There are also no other amenities such as bathrobe, slippers, etc. (and there were almost no plugs available, we had to unplug all lamps to charge our phones).
The "restaurant" (which is actually both the restaurant/lobby/reception) closes whenever they please, you would come to the hotel at around 8PM and you wouldn't be able to order anything to eat or drink.
There is no phone in the room, and no way at all to contact anybody if there's something you need. And even if you go to the lobby/restaurant/reception area, it's hard to find anybody there to help you (we found the staff in a garden several times; playing cards, drinking beer and smoking).
And finally, we had to pay a 3% extra, on top of the "final price" for paying with credit card, which is not mentioned anywhere.
All this sounds too bad to be true, but unfortunately for us, this was our experience.

To sum up: Overpriced. Dirty property, in need of renovation. Bad service. No four stars or resort at all.
