The Royal Purnama

What a wonderful resort. Everything just works here. From super clean rooms, a very neatly maintained resort and extremely friendly staff. This way they memorize your names and corresponding room numbers so that you don't have to justify yourself every time.

We had the private pool villa and it was really great. Everything so beautiful. Room is cleaned twice a day.

Restaurant: so far the best food and drinks we have had here in Bali.

Location is a little far out but that contributes to the idyllic charm of the hotel. Everything was fantastic and all the staff extremely
polite and friendly.

We were especially impressed that the restaurant staff assiduously recorded our dietary needs to make sure we were covered for the entire stay. Major props to the restaurant for the
range of interesting vegetarian options available and the great cocktails!

Room cleaning twice a day is also amazing at a time when many hotels are cutting back to once every 2-3 days.

The Black Sands Spa lives up to its reviews and the massage and bath were incredibly relaxing.

We truly enjoyed our little slice of paradise and it was a perfect weekend getaway!

Absolutely incredible experience here. The service is top notch, the staff are always lovely. The hotels are well designed and luxurious. There’s transport from one place to another within the villa. It takes you from the room to their restaurant and even your own designated driver. The front desk is 24 hours and Their restaurant has one of the most talented chef I have ever seen and yet is so down to earth. His food is amazing, every bite is incredible and mesmerising. It really tells a story of its own. I almost cried eating one of the meals here of how amazing it was it. Everything is made fresh from breakfast to dinner. They have dinner events with singers and dancers toped by an amazing brow. There’s so much love and attention to detail here and I will definitely be back here again and will recommend it if anyone comes to Bali this is amazing thank you for the wonderful experience here

Absolutely lovely hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well designed. The main pool is beautifully designed and quite cozy.

The service was great and they accommodated all of our special requests. It was everything I expected.

Hotel with soul. They make you feel cared for and cared for at all times. They have a team of 10. At the head is Mr. Barry. A hotel manager in love with his job who conveys genuine interest in his team, his hotel and the well-being of his guests. The restaurant has a remarkable quality of food. Maybe a little slow at peak times but they make up for it with friendliness and a good atmosphere. The villa, we were in a Cempaka villa with generous space, with a fairly large private pool and a huge bathroom. It is advisable to take a walk along the silver at dusk. We will be back.

The most magical place! Truly do not have a me bad word to say about this establishment. The friendliest staff and they made bookings & transportation so easy. Was very impressed with the food & cleanliness of our Villa. Server, Ade was an absolute gem and always went above & beyond for my guest and I. Highly recommend!

Wonderful resort, picturesque location with black sand beach, beautiful pool and unique standing stones make it great for photos. Rooms are large and spacious but the best thing is the friendly staff who are all local Balinese and happy to assist you. The restaurant staff remember your name and your preferences which is very impressive.

The black sand is so glittery and soft.
No swimming allowed in the ocean, the waves are quite a lot.
Lovely service, amazing room, great dietary adjustments, vegan afternoon tea, very helpful staff.
Sign says don’t take grab here support locals so remember to do that.
Stay: 5 nights (quite end to our trip)

I just came back from my Bali holiday and I must say it wasn’t a good experience. I always enjoyed my beach vacations in Bali but this time around both resorts weren’t great at all. The reviews I read prior to the trip simply weren’t the experience I had. The Royal Purnama is a worn out property that hasn’t been well maintained. The toilet in the villa was noisy and the room wasnt entirely clean. The beach was also not cleaned and there were cushions, towels piled up near the pool area. The reason I gave a 2 star is because the food from its restaurant and the spa treatments were really good. This definitely isn’t a 5 star accommodation.

Great place to stay on your holidays when in Bali. Great service from the staff from book in to restaurant and massage. Beautiful scenery from the restaurant, great looking beaches. Can't fault this place, do yourself a favour and go there.

Nice, quiet place, lovely rooms. Great staff.
A bit isolated and if you want to move around can be expensive.
The beach is not usable. One over priced restaurant.
Yoga at their convenience, not the guests.

Cant speak highly enough about the royal purnama, such amazing rooms/facilities/amenities, location, food etc etc but its the supremely accomodating staff who make the place as outstanding as it is. Props to Barry and the crew for creating something so special.

It is a perfect place to have a relaxing and peaceful holidays with very nice food and drinks in the Standing Stones restaurant, an open air beach lounge with its meandering freeform swimming pool merges with the sea and the sky. It was our favourite place to hangout with amazing ocean view and soothing balinese music during dinner!

We experienced the Balinese hospitality and 5 star luxery at The Royal Purnama resort. The villa's are stunning, with great privacy, a swimming pool and a lush garden. Staff are friendly and thoughtful, they made our stay a wonderful experience. The menu choice in the restaurant is amazing, even for a vegetarian there is plenty. Breakfast was a feast for me everyday. I will definitely try to go back.

Had my Brother’s Tamil Nadu-Indian style destination wedding here with ocean view on back. Place was awesome and the Villa we booked was Top notch.
Bit Pricey yet it was Perfect.

The Royal Purnama is my favorite stay in Bali. They encompass Balinese tradition in many ways, from their room architecture to their great food and kind service. If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay, this is the place.

Excellent resort, they truly treat you like Royal. Very smooth check in, pick up from airport, restaurants staff, housekeeping all very customer service oriented. We had an amazing 6 nights at one Bedroom Jacuzzi Suite. Very memorable experience.

It was an increadible place for our honemoon stay and we could not have chosen a better one! Each and every person there - from reception to the driver and service at the restaurant are absolutely increadible - so kind and caring! The team in the restaurant is absolutely lovely - we especially loved Mega and special thanks to the manager of the restaurant, but also the ladies at the reception were extremely nice and supportive. We also used the Spa treatment and loved it. It is a perfect place to have a relaxing and peaceful holidays with very nice food and drinks in the Standing Stones restaurant. If you are looking for a party around the corner, than it is most probalby not the right place for you. But if you are looking for a place to calm down and be connected with the wonderfull nature, here the sound of the ocean and have lovely and caring people around you, than it is definitely the right place for you. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy your holidays on Bali. The Pool Villa we had was extraordinary. Pool access from every room, a huge bathroom with an outdoor shower and a huge bathtub. The breakfast was a la card and the egg benedict was amazing. The restaurant is ok. The service was the best I ever had in a hotel. Try the spa.the massages are really great and the staff is super friendly. We stayed here for 12 nights and had a beautiful time. Highly recommend.
The only little downside was the we had some issues with clean towels and clean bedsheets from time to time. But when you call room service they immediately brought new ones.

Just amazing! That's how a five star hotel should be. The staff really takes care of you and make sure that nothing is missing. We participate in the free yoga classes and enjoyed a floating breakfast at our pool. We enjoyed our stay in the Royal Purnama and we are already planning to come back again.

Absolute bliss. Couldnt want for more in a hotel in a great location, attentive friendly staff, fab accommodation & clean. Would return for a 3rd time.

This beach side resort is one of the best! The service, the stay, the rooms, the restaurant was just perfect! If you get a good deal on any travel agency apps, go ahead and book this place for a relaxing vacation. Their pool suite is worth the price and really amazing. Also they have a in house spa which is decently priced. Overall our only bad experience was the travel from this place which could be priced at a better rate.

Lovely place by the beach. They got an interesting setting with standing stones and a small garden. We only visit the restaurant for a drink. The staffs are very friendly and the price is reasonable. Hope I could stay here the next time I come back to this island.

We loved our stay! The villa was clean and luxurious and the outdoor shower was amazing. We could view rice fields from our room. The staff were extremely attentive, even learnt our names. People should be aware that there are no shops near the hotel so come prepared unless wanting to leave the resort.

My boyfriend and I stayed at The Royal Purnama at the end of June after backpacking through Indonesia for 20 days. We stayed for 3 nights and never needed to leave the hotel. It was gorgeous everywhere, even the bathrooms. I cannot speak highly enough about the service their staff provided, everything was quick, and everyone was so kind. They learned who we were and our names quickly.
The food was excellent and we tried many things from the menu. Chef Jay even visited our table on a few separate occasions to ensure we were enjoying our meals.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a place to relax. We didn't use the shuttles to Ubud or Sanur but we heard great things from other guests about them.  
Would love to go back soon!

Saya seorang fotografer, dan mendapat kesempatan moto disini. Sebagai pengunjung saya merasa Royal Purnama menyajikan tempat dengan area cukup luas dekat pantai dengan orang-orang yang penuh perhatian. Kamar yang didesain sangat cantik, saya rasa pengunjung yg menginap akan sangat betah berada disini. Apalagi pemandangan pantainya yg sangat Indah. Pasti menambah kesukaan pengunjung berada ditempat ini.

The pool suites are absolutely stunning- everything is maintained to a high standard. Staff are a pleasure to speak with. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious and with fresh ingredients. Our only suggestion here is for the owner to invest in cleaning the beach environment adjacent to the hotel. This would not only please the hotel visitor (a beautiful photo is easily ruined by plastic beach debris beyond) but also do your bit for the planet and the local community.
Note: We were impressed by your bamboo straws!

Nice and cozy resort.perfect for away from daily life.location is bit away from downtown and airport.there is only one restaurant in the resort.

It was an amazing hotel with great views. Staff was friendly rooms were just amazing. Bathroom was bigger than bedroom. Fud was amazing should try chicken wonton and crab claw in d rest.loved it. We had a movie night at the hotel in open air in d garden and to my surprise they kept a cake for my birthday. Overall it was a 5 star stay.
