Great sushi, good serving for price, they didn’t tell us that our cocktails weren’t 65k on special night, but after questioning they rectified their mistake and gave us at that price. Would recommend

Good sushi (but Californian is not made of Crab). We tried 3 special ones: Krispy, Californian and philly crunch. I was disappointed that Californian is announced as being done with crab but it’s only surimi sticks. The other two were very good. Been there on February 2020

Cold atmosphere, sushi didn’t taste good. Air conditioning unhealthy cold. Waiters friendliness was just okay. Interior not beautiful. Cold Shisha bar atmosphere.

We have ordered one tuna bowl and one salmon bowl, there was not a lot of fish, but as usual in other places. Chicken gedza was tasty.

Ive traveled so many places and never found a sushi restaurant with rolls as good as this one! This is my favorite restaurant in south east Asia! The food is amazing, prices are good and its a relaxed atmosphere so you dont have to dress up

The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was sooo good, hard to find raw tuna and they had so many items! Good price too, really enjoyed it. Pictured is the salmon lovers & ‘nachos’ which is rare tuna on a wonton with avocado—a must try!

One of the better sushi joints we found in Bali with really good promotions daily. No complaints at all. Love their house sauce.

Cool place, big variety of sushi based meals, good sashimi, nigiri and rolls. Exciting drinks and cocktails. Japanese beer and sake.

Awesome sushi place, very chilled out vibe. Taste is on point. The wasabi was a bit mellow but the dishes make for it.

The food is so so. The literal definition of okay. There's no pork there which is rare in bali. The place and ambience is a 4 star tho, its a good place to hang with friends, its not noisy.

Late services in the bar area. I can not give opinion about food because I just wanted to drink a beer but even when there were not so many people it took long time to serve it

Please rebuild your employees, the work is very bad, too busy playing on the cellphone, to the point of forgetting to give me food, until the food is no longer hot! Your employees in Batubolong are much better off.

A good sushi bar in Canggu, the salmon is quite fresh with special Wasabi fusion sauce. They are on discount every Wednesday. The parking is quite small, as always in Canggu, so bring your scooter instead

Atmosphere is a bit bland. Service was lacking - focused behind the bar, ask if you have allergy & then laugh it off, rather than offer refills on tea automatically announce loud when you ask for one ‚you want a ‚free‘ refill? ‘.
Fish quality was 6: 10 on the sushi. Tempura used local batter (maybe to cater to local taste?) - why not use fluffy original Japanese batter? Readily available on Bali.
Only highlight seems to be the sauces. There is also one on the table but staff won’t tell you it’s there and can’t really explain what it is nor if for specific dish. Tempura sauce was excellent (only positive note).
If you’re desperate for a sushi fix at Genki sushi quality (theirs is probably better though) and TYGR is near by or on the way okay, don’t travel to try.

Very slow to get Takeaway order ready. Food seems overpriced. I ordered four things by Whats App this afternoon, asking for them to be ready at 5.30 (one hour later) for me to collect. Reply by WA was this is fine, and that they will start cooking it at 5.15 pm. I wanted to be able to collect the food myself, to be able to have it ready to eat with friends who were short of time, and needed to leave soon after. When I got there at 5.31 it was not ready, and one of the items (Vegan Ramen) they hadn't even started cooking, and said it would be 15 minutes. Explanation given when I complained was that they said they had other orders which had delayed them cooking mine. There were 6 other people eating in the restaurant at the time (group of 3, a couple, and one on their own) so hardly a crush. I suspect they had prioritized Grab etc orders over me coming in personally to collect a takeaway. My order was not small either (INR 260k). They looked and sounded sheepish in apologizing. The Ramen appeared finally at 5.46 pm. I suggested they should in future avoid committing to a takeaway collection time, unless they can actually meet it. Food itself was okay, nothing more. Vegan Ramen was okay. Mixed Tempura platter was good. Spicy shrimp sushi seemed a very small portion, for the price. Katsu chicken curry was a bit bland, and also quite pricy. Overall this place did not meet my (not terribly high) expectations, Food seems overpriced. Service for takeaway is poor. I was late getting the food, and my friends were delayed.

If you are looking for excellent quality and affordable price sushi and other Japanese dishes, this is the place to go for.

Sushi is quite plain. Nothing really special. Overpriced, considering very cheap cost of the seafood in Bali market.

It was good sushi, we are lucky not that many people as usual. Normaly mant people and we dont even find table for us. So this time we decide eat in the front of sushi bar, sudenly we saw big rat pass just in the table behind when the guy make a sushi. It was surprise but we are not complaining, we just tell the guy there is rat and he saw it too, i know how difficult keep them away/out from kitchen, no matter how hard you tried to rid them away they can come again from roof or even small holes. But we still enjoy the food, in the end they give us 10% discount and apologize. It was nice as we dont expect any discount. Anyway we still like going there and this is the 2nd time we eat here. Thank you

I love their sushi and their ambience, really comfortable for hangout with our friends or family.

I get the impression that it’s trying to be a Japanese/Balinese fusion sushi bar, but unfortunately I didn’t feel that it’s neither Japanese nor Balinese. The fried dishes were too greasy and the sushi rice to filling/topping ratio was off, and the Balinese twist weren’t bold enough. Some of our drinks also tasted ‘watered down. ’ It’s such a shame that the dishes were a miss since the service was good and the staffs were attentive. When we complained about a dish, they took it off our bill and promised a 10% discount for everything. However, we got more than the promised cut. Thank you!

Tasty small tapa restaurant. Definitely wouldn’t call this a sushi restaurant as there are no sushi rolls on the menu.

The food was tasty and good. We were here on Sunday, and they had a 2 for 1 deal on sushi rolls, but were told that it only covered the plain single-ingredient rolls and not the dragon rolls. Quite a disappointment, but the single ingredient rolls were still delicious. We also ordered two plates of the same dish- one for me, the other for my companion. The dishes came out about 10 mins apart. Perplexing.

Good place to get a Japanese food, the waiters are very polite, the place is very clean n comfort, but it's a bit narrow.
So far so good.

Great food, excellent ambience, but the service was a mixed bag. Maybe it was just an off day for our server who seemed extremely bored and unenthusiastic. The value could've been a little better but it's about par for the course for this pricey section of Canggu.

Hip atmosphere, friendly service, cool merch, GREAT sushi at a reasonable price.
Recommend coming on Sunday when they have a buy one get one free promotion on certain sushi rolls.

The sushi isn't exceptional but through some magic they've achieved the most perfect ice ever. Just look at this, you can see into the future through this ish. It's the most pure thing on the planet. Also they pile on absurd amounts of wasabi, but it's pretty low quality

Best sushi in Canggu. Super friendly staff, tasty food and a good selection of drinks (including beervana craft beer).

Just expand the choice of sushi and it will be perfect. Place is nice, food is nice, service is nice, but after three times there you are familiar with everything:) I love their promo sundays, part of my Bali weekly routine!

Went there yesterday. Food is good. The pregnant woman staff (cashier) not friendly and rude. Really disappointing.

Perfectly made hand rolled sushi with frozen glasses of Sapporo beer made this an awesome little place for lunch. If you blink you will miss it but definitely worth stopping here.

I don't usually like sushi but this is amazing. The rice is just perfect, and they have this special sauce that tastes like heaven

Love the seats by the bar, feels so much like Japan. But on flip flops instead of snowboard boots.
The sushi is fresh and tasty, but at the same time you can’t go wrong if you decide to have the hot dishes.
New favs are the agedashi tofu, chicken karage and spicy tuna on fried rice.
Definitely my favourite japanese food experience in Bali.

Sushi is prepared in front of your nose, cosy ambiance. Just weird that the price is not on the menu itself
