I ordered the lymphatic boreh treatment for 120mins, thinking it was a 120mins treatment focus on the lymphatic system. Instead, I received a 75mins Balinese massage (which btw was fantastic), a 15mins boreh scrub and 30mins bath, none of which was mentioned on their website. Had I known what the treatment was really all about, I would have gone elsewhere.

During the treatment, I thought there was a mistake and ask the therapist treating what I was receiving. She confirmed that she was giving me the lymphatic boreh treatment.

Disappointed and confused, I mentioned it to the receptionist afterwards. I got the impression that this wasn’t the first time that this was raised.

It is extremely disappointed to be misled and dishonest on the part of the management/owner. Hence the one star review.

It was difficult to make a same-day reservation as the reviews suggested.
The staff were all friendly and it was much cooler than other places. The thorough massage was very pleasant and refreshing.
My husband was especially satisfied with the male masseuse's pressure.

Had such wonderful experiences with Agus and Sudiani. Felt very safe and cared for. They were particularly attentive to my personal needs in specific muscle areas and incredibly professional. The setting at Ubud bodyworks is so tranquil, set in a traditional Balinese garden - a true hindu sanctuary filled with good energy and kindness. The touch of a plate of papaya and a cup of ginger tea after each session was lovely. Thank you so much for your time and help!

Great place to get a great massage. They have an amazing therapist named Wulan. Her hands are magical. Their deep tissue massage is just perfect.

I would consider this the best place to get a massage in Ubud hands down. I had an appointment with Astri (Asti? Sorry!) and she is very good. The massage was very firm as I had requested and you could tell she knew exactly what she was doing with a thought process behind every move. I had an amazing massage and scrub and would highly recommend this establishment- this is coming from someone who is extremely picky and judgmental when it comes to massages

Excellent massage (head neck & shoulders) today. Best in Ubud. I felt very confident in her ability. I wished I’d an hour not 30 mins. Excellent!

Great gym. Reasonably priced and has all the equipment you need for a workout. I went as part of Aria wellness resort which has a deal with the gym (class free @ 4pm).

Deep tissue massage is good.
Place is traditional balinese, have 3 floors.
Room is clean and good air ventilation, even with no AC feels just fine.
They wash our feet with lime and galangal before massage.
Compliment papaya and ginger tea at the end.

DON’T BOOK MASTER SESSION (SERIOUS)! I visited your master more than a month ago. I expected a healing session because this is whats written on your website. I put in your form that I had a SERIOUS back surgery and also told him when we met. He didn’t care. All he did was giving me a very intense massage and then started walking on me. Completely irrelevant than whats written on your website. I warned him about my surgery again he said I should just relax.
As a result it’s been a month and I have all my pre surgery symptoms back. I have lower back pain and sciatic pain all over my leg as well as numbness on my right leg. The definition of this session on your website is completely different than what he did. I want him to know the outcome of his actions on people like me. Please let him know. This is serious. I haven’t message you up until now because I thought why would you care and it was all my mistake that I came to you. But I am really angry about what I am going through and you are responsible of that. I will start sharing my story in everywhere possible because people should know. Your master is a scam and you should stop lying people on your website. This is a serious matter you can not play with people’s health like this.

I came here for a Kundalini yoga class & this is a warning NOT to go here for kundalini yoga. I was the only student in the class & there was a male teacher. He didn’t introduce himself or check if I was ok being in a 1: 1 class as a female with a male teacher. (Normally I would never do this.) I’d already paid at the reception & no one told me this. As someone who has practised yoga for over 10 years & kundalini for 5 years, and now a qualified kundalini tantra yoga teacher, this ‘teacher’ did not have a clue what he was doing. He was making it up as he went along & I don’t think I have ever been to a ‘bad’ yoga class in my life, but this was the first. The teacher also had a very strange/bad vibe about him. He was not able to explain well, and what we were doing in the class did not make any sense. I actually seriously thought about leaving the class halfway through because I sensed something was not right. However I stayed because I wanted to complete & close the practice & thought maybe I would learn something new or different from this teacher. He was intent on trying to push the body beyond limits in asanas & if I was not as flexible as him he would laugh. He told me that he helps his students to be ‘successful’. I asked him what success is & told me it is being able to get into difficult postures. This man did not even have an understanding of basic principles in yoga. Later that day I had quite a serious injury & it could be totally unrelated, but I can’t ignore that I’d had contact with this person with very bad energy earlier that day. Be careful, stay away.

I had a massage here in 2012 that I still talk about as the best massage of my life - returned in 2020 and it was still the same standard. Excellent.

Lovely place hold by the loving, healing and joyful energy of Master Ketut Arsana. Amazing and transforming kundalini yoga practices and divine massage procedures. One of my most favorite places in Ubud!

Beautiful surroundings. One of the best messages I’ve had in awhile. The therapist was very knowledgeable and cared how I was doing occasionally asking if the pressure was good. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonable message while on holiday.

I had the one hour deep tissue massage. About $7 more expensive than other massage places in the area but entirely worth it. They hit meridian acupressure points as well as doing the nicer deep tissue massage. I actually left feeling healed rather than pounded which is rare. Next time I would even try to extend the time as it does feel vaguely short here for some reason. Worth it!

The skilled technicians and relaxing space for a full body experience is worth the bit extra cost.
