Nice gallery to visit for local ubud paintings and Indonesian art works. They also have villas to stay just behind the gallery.

Very inspirational experience to have visit here. Art itself is more than academic and high end fashion, but also could be attachable to daily life. Nice talking to Richard as well! He will let you know more to open the door of ubud-lish art!

Interesting to see all the collections at Ubud Diary, its like travel to modern museum and see pieces of history inside. The owner must spend years to collect all those rare items!
Some of Ubud Diary's colections include paintings (Ubud style, where details and colour are very specific), old carving statues and wood carving from all over Indonesia. I believed those carving is more than 60-80 years of age.
They also have barcode in each item to learn what it is and the history behind it.
You dont need to buy the items to come here.

Ubud diary have so many painting collections that show represent ubud culture, very recommend for visit

Beautiful place with outstanding furnitures from Bali, Java, Sumba, Flores. The paintings to me are just ok.boring. Overall I love the garden, the arrangement. I also love the breakthrough in which you can get the detailed information on each art piece viw UBUD DIARY apps.

One of the real galleries in Bali, you could even say it is the most beautiful and remarkable one, in here you could find rare wood carvings, furniture, old wood and brass accessories and wood antiques, from all over of Indonesia. At the second floor, you will be thrilled by the huge collection of Balinese paintings, all are from the famous painters of Bali. It is a real eye opener. While it sell and display antiques, This gallery itself is very modern, every painting has its own QR code, once scanned, the description of the painter and history of the painting will be showed on your phone.
