Do not miss the experience of a batik class, or natural dye classes. The teaching is world class, and I learnt how to harvest indigo and extract the indigotil then make an active dye vat. Komeng is very knowledgeable, and if you wish he teaches about the chemistry involved in starting and maintaining the vats, along with fabric preparation. A wonderful experience for artists and beginners alike. Komeng and Wayan help through all stage of the natural dyeing process, helping where needed but also leaving you to explore your own processes. Exemplary. And the project itself has much to teach us about sustainable process and business which has humanity at its heart. Your money will be well spent in supporting this outstanding workshop.

I stayed here for two months and really liked the view of rice fields up from my balcony. The facilities were complete with the big kitchen, huge bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. The hosts were so lovely and helpful. I recommend staying here if you're looking to find a peaceful place to stay.

Nice quiet place for test or small wedding in ubud area

An amazing place to stay near Ubud, just 10 minutes driving. The house is beautiful, as well as the food and the activities that they organize. I particularly enjoyed the cooking class. The best thing is the amazing staff, always willing to help. I will definitely go back.
