Got amazing services at this quaint little shop. I'd definitely travel to Ubud jusg to get mani pedis!

This place is very well organised and easy to communicate with. I reached out on whatsapp to make and appointment and they kindly followed up to confirm on the day. It's very comfy inside the air-conditioned studio and they offer you a drink on arrival. Ratna did an amazing job removing my old gel, and cleaning up my nails for a new polish. Thank you Vive team! Would definitely come back again

The two ladies who did my mani and pedi are the best, always making sure that I’m enjoying the service. I strongly recommend to book in advance as they are quite popular and busy business.

The best pedicure I have ever had. Wayan is incredible. In fact, all the staff are exceptional in all that they do.

Arrived in Ubud with my gel (Shellac) nails that I’d had done for my wedding. I’d already lost one extension so was in a bit of a state and came across these ladies. They fit me in immediately with no appointment to remove and reapply gels.
Iluh (sorry, I hope I spelled your name correctly!) worked hard to get the gel off as it was very stubborn. I was scared to let her use the grinder/filing tool at first but she was so gentle and careful with it. She used a mix of acetone and grinding to remove it all.
When it was all off she did a fantastic job of shaping my nails. I’ve never seen them so uniform! She took such care in painting them again. Honestly they are PERFECT! I can’t recommend her enough. And her hand massage was lovely too. Thank you so much ladies. Can you come back to England with me? Best nails I’ve ever had! ️

I did brow waxing and a pedicure. I’ve professionally been a licensed cosmetologist in California for over 10 years and taught esthetics. This is the only shop I’ve seen in Bali using barbicide (a very specific sanitizing concentrate for the industry). Actually has new, clean, sterilized tools right from the autoclave.

The waxing was incredibly professional (though I wish they would have you sit up for brows!) they powdered then waxed and used a light moisturizer to remove. My tech asked several times to make sure I was comfortable and I was satisfied with my somewhat unconventional brows (I do a slightly longer moth brow and most people have no idea what to do!)

The pedicure is my first in months that has been so thorough with cuticle remover, actually removing every ounce of previous gel.

They’re fantastic! I’m still in the chair and I’m so blown away with the level of service and how clean and sanitary they are, I had to write this review because I’m personally so sick of lack of hygiene in the industry and cross contamination I see all the time in salons and spas. This place is the exception! And they’re so nice!

The person who did my shellack nails was an absolute perfectionist! My nails look perfect and have held up beautifully over the last days. If you want a good manicure, I would absolutely recommend this place. Also, the communication to make/reschedule my appointment was very good and reliable.

Awesome place! We came for pedis and were satisfied with the quality of work, precise & clean, pleasant staff, sterilized/one-time use tools, great choice of polish. They also offer you a complimentary drink to enjoy during the procedure. Definitely coming again for other treatments & Recommending it to everyone!

Did brow waxing and colouring + lash colour, I’m so happy for the results! It was perfect, I would recommend this place 110%, the therapist even gave me massage while waiting for the colour to finish!

I was worried about finding the right shade for me. Rudi did a very good job, I am very satisfied with the final result. The other employees of the salon were also attentive, and I was also very satisfied with the price.

I have dark hair and got balayage and highlights done here. April did such an amazing job and did my hair exactly as I wanted it. And he did it so easy:) I also got my eyelash extensions done in this salon, great experience and I will be a regular customer here.

Small salon but great service! I Would recommend this place if you want just a basic spa mani and pedi without any color or added nail. I cannot review that service since I didn’t have that done. Very pleased with my mani and pedi tho!

The rating is not personal but critical one.
1. Staff is super friendly and nice, cannot say anything bad.
2. I had nails done in Berlin, needed either a filler or removed in Ubud. Salon ladies presented me with issues, but not a solution. I am not a nail technician, I am usually presented with options. So when somebody says that they don't have this color of gel, or that they can't remove them, I'd appreciate options.
3. For the salon that advertises on the front pages, that they serviced celebrities, they have a limited color choice, prices higher than in Berlin for when I get a brand new set with a design, with lower quality. Nail that was replaced, is obviously thicker and sloppier.
Posting pictures for comparison: orange peach nails are from Vive and white nails done in Berlin (from the scratch). For 3/4 of the price.
4. Filling took 2 hours.

Nice work on my gel nails. Tea, coffee or water while you wait. Air conditioning works great! Friendly staff that are willing to accommodate and help you achieve what you want on your nails. Thank you!

Came here for a full set and they did an amazing job. This is exactly the shape and length I wanted and I love the colors. One of the best nail salon experiences I have had!

Very satisfied with the service at Vive. I had a manicure and pedicure, while my husband had a massage and a haircut. We made the appointment through WhatsApp and they were really prompt in answering. Everything was clean, relaxing music and hot tea on a rainy day.

Had an awesome hair cut today with Avril. He took the time to cut, dry, texture and thin my hair. I have a lot of hair and he was so patient. He even straighten my hair at the end. Such an awesome hair stylist and very friendly too. I felt so comftorable and confident in Avrils hands. Thank you! Very happy

The best blonde highlights of my life! Not an exaggeration! If you have been in Bali for some time and are researching places that can cut your hair and freshen up those blonde highlights, let me save you the time: go to Vive Salon and ask for Chetan!

The blonde color he created was brilliant; the way he blended the highlights and low lights complimented my complexion perfectly and gave my hair depth.

Let me also add that this man is a saint—so patient and professional. I was extremely nervous about getting my Western hair done in a new place in Asia. I went back and forth on what I wanted for at least 30 minutes. Despite my being a real pain, he was nice and patient with me the whole time.

After the color turned out so exceptionally, I booked Chetan two days later for a cut and keratin treatment (his recommendation, given that I was going to be swimming in the ocean every day for the next two months). Again, I was nervous the whole time as I had never gotten a keratin treatment before. But, of course, he was right—it did wonders and was a Godsend after getting in and out of the saltwater every day. The cut, of course, was perfect as well.

10/10 would recommend! He is really outstanding at what he does, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience and his work!

I had a great experience at Vive today. The manager was very friendly and chatted with me while I waited for my hair stylist. Lovely woman. My hair cut was great, the young man (I've forgotten his name) had great skill and was very friendly. I overheard the other hair stylist next to me dealing with her new client and she took such care to find out what she desired. Overall the service and finish quality was better than I've had before and all of them spoke English very well and made me feel very welcome. Will go back again before I leave for sure.

Prices are quite high, higher than in Europe, but the service is at a excelent level. I am blonde and it's difficult to find a hair dresser in Bali who can work with this color. Chathan did not disappoint me and chose the color perfectly. I highly recommend this salon.

Tried to stay positive about this place, but 2/3 services were not up to par. The pedicure was just ok. My gel nail extensions however began falling off within several hours after the (3h long) service, and were completely off within 5 days. However, when I came in the following day to repair (at that point only 1) nail, another lady redid it and it is still not even peeling on a single corner 2 weeks later!
On a positive note, after my 2nd nail coming off, I got offered a full refund of the extensions, which attributes to good management.
In summary, I would go here and make sure I get a very experienced (older) lady to have a chance at a great treatement.

I am so pleased with my haircut! Rikke is an excellent hairdresser. I have short curly hair and was nervous about getting my haircut abroad but Rikke knew exactly what to do! I showed her a picture and explained what I wanted and she gave me exactly that! I very rarely walk away from a hair appointment with a smile on my face in the UK so this was such a treat!

Very clean spa offering modern facials and hair treatments. Owner Nini is the sweetest person. In the 3 weeks I have been in Bali I have recommended this place to several people who went and were satisfied.

Very happy with my shellac nails that I got done at Vivé Salon. The beauty therapist that helped me was very sweet and friendly and I felt very looked after. The salon has a nice atmosphere with comfy chairs, and is very clean and neatly organized. It is also highly popular as the day was booked out when other ladies came in asking for treatments. I mentioned to my therapist that I had gotten engaged recently and I received a little congratulatory candle as a gift upon payment of my treatment. How thoughtful! Highly recommend this salon for any beauty treatments here in Ubud.

Overpriced and no customer service. Went in for a haircut in the morning and they told us to come back at 6: 30pm. Arrived 10 mins late due to traffic and they said they couldn't do it. Such a waste of time. Staff are rude, not very welcoming.

Had an SNS manicure by Titra. She did an amazing job. Cleanliness and attention to detail was exceptional. It does take longer and costs a bit more than an SNS in Australia but I have never had such a beautiful manicure. Very pleased to find a salon with SNS in Bali and I can already tell this will not crack or chip over the coming weeks. Fantastic!

Manicure and pedicure Gel Lac every month. Acryl extensions and acrylic layover. Wide range of colors. Skillful stylists. Hairdressers are also very good. Facial is lovely. The best in town. Very friendly staff. Nice and friendly owners. If I could I would give 6 stars. Ps would love for you to start doing hair extensions.

Super satisfied with my haircut and service!
I have a short quite technical haircut with a quiff sort of (and fine hair) but hairdresser did an excellent job and was very calm and had a pleasant presence about him.

Good, but can get a little claustrophobic as chairs are spaced tightly. Make sure you have reservations in advance.

Definitely one of the pricier plantest go to but it is worth every rupiah!
The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, everything is clean and the products are of high quality.

I already had my pedicure done at Vive last year while in Bali and I’m back again, very happy with the result. They removed the cuticles and hard skin nicely, I chose OPI nail polish and it stayed whole 2 weeks of my holidays without chipping so couldn’t be happier. Price is maybe a bit higher but still a bargain when compared with my home prices (Amsterdam), highly recommended

We had hair cut, manicures and pedicures here today. The most comfortable pedicure I’ve ever had. Staff are super friendly and able to meet clients needs.

Went in for acrylic nail refills. Pretty disappointed with lumpy nails that did not come close in length for one broken nail she 'fixed', among other complaints I have. I kept asking for her to correct so many things I started to feel bad for asking and just wanted to pay and leave. She took over 2 hours to 'complete' the service which I haven't had ever take more than an hour and a bit at most.

I came in a few days ago for a set of gel extensions and I wish I got my nail tech's name. She has done a better job than I ever received in Australia.
The length and shape are perfect, they sit really comfortably and are not too thick. I love the job she has done and I'll definitely be back. She took her time, made sure the lengths were all perfectly balanced and often checked in with me to check and see if I wanted any adjustments.
They (Vive Salon) might be a little pricey compared to some other places in Ubud, but the quality and standard really showcase why.
