Always eat here when in Sanur. Have had lunch each day so far. Working my way through the menu! The coldest Bintang I had. In a quiet side street not far from the main road. Authentic Balinese food - no poke bowls, pasta or acai.
Filthy! Sorry for the bosses but the place is very dirty with the surprise arrival of a rat during our meal. Toilets not clean at all. Chicken Satay not good at all, served with rice and 2 mini cucumbers. Very poor. Mi Goreng not great which bathes in its sauce.
Restaurant that doesn't look very minimalist decor but on the other hand, their meal is really very good, their specialty a slightly caramelized chicken with rice, a delight. The prices more than correct. The quantities are not huge for big eaters.
Portions are too small for that price I had bigger portions in other restaurants so don't be fooled by the price of each dish because you'll have to order a lot if you want to be satisfied which will end up as quite pricey, also the order took too long to get ready (more the 40min) and they don't accept card payment, only cash. I personally have eat in much better restaurants in Sanur.
Just had lunch here. 1x Nasi Goreng with chicken and satay sticks and 1x Mie Goreng with chicken and satay sticks with 2x pineapple juices. 140,000. Delicious! Will be back.
I was very dubious about the reviews as it was completely empty the two times I walked past.
But we came here the last night of our trip, vowing to leave the food if it wasn't up to scratch.
This place did not disappoint. The nasi goreng, spring rolls and chicken skewers were all really good. So good we ordered more skewers. The chicken curry was fragrant but a bit lighter in flavour.
All in all, a good food experience and a great last meal for the trip.
Had lunch at this little gem today. We had soto ayam, mei goreng and a beef rendang. All food was 10/10 for taste and price. Average price 30,000rp to 50,000rp maximum. I looked up a review written today from someone by the name of Prerana Singhal which was written 2 hrs before my lunch arrival. The warung was not open yet for the day and they claim price up to 75,000rp.which is totally false as I spoke to the owner Anna who is a hard working lovely local woman working hard for her family.please support these hard working local warungs.
Fantastic homemade dishes at reasonable prices. Chicken betutu and "my village fried rice" were out of this world. Carmelized fried bananas were amazing! We will be back! Cash only.
Loved their spicy fried chicken! It was so good that we had to order another one! Tried Nasi goreng as well, and it was full of flavours! Price is also reasonable
Verdammt! Zu spät gefunden! Kult.
I came once and had the beef rendang which was ordinary. However the beer was cold and prices were good. The guy recommended I try the spicy stir fry chicken next time and I’m so glad I came back. He will make it as spicy as you like. I just loved it. So come for the cold beer and spicy stir fried chicken!
The crispy chilli chicken is amazing! The service can be a little slow but if you go for the spicy chicken you won't be disappointed, and the prices are really good value
