I returned three times in a row during a 3 day stay. You absolutely must try the ayam batutu dish

We wanted to try a low cost “hotel” during our stay in Bali.

The experience was disastrous and we recommend that you do not go to this hotel.

The photos in the reservation do not correspond to reality at all.

When we arrived, the welcome was disastrous. The lady asked us our names and after confirmation she showed us the room and left us.

No smile, no hello and no explanation. This does not at all resemble the benevolence of the Balinese.

The room was really unsanitary: mold, hole in the floor, linens that smelled of decomposition, windows that didn't open well, broken drawer and a huge dead cockroach (even though they are very resistant creatures) in the drawer.

We asked to change rooms but it was the same thing.

After a lot of hesitation, we still decided to spend a night there. The hot water in the shower ran for 2 minutes then turned cold. Afterwards, we saw a live cockroach crawling into the ceiling.

The next day we took all our things and went to sleep with locals we knew the same day in order to forget these bad memories.

The owners did not even ask us the reasons for our early departure and did not question it.

I would rather have the Black Death than spend another night in my life there.

If you get a basement room, then your view will just be the trees in front and the bathroom is very small. But the top rooms have a lovely view from their windows and balconies and decently sized bathroom. The staff was very lovely, we wanted to have masala chai and tried explaining how to make it to them, finally they allowed us to use the kitchen to make tea on our own. Very generous, welcoming people.

Today we ate in this friendly restaurant where the dishes are delicious like Ayam Betutu or Ayam Kecap - the team is very pleasant and conscientious - the wait may seem long but the result is delicious - there is a very nice view!

The accommodation itself was comfortable and cozy. The rooms were clean. The hosts of the guest house were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. From arranging local tours and transportation to providing insightful recommendations about nearby attractions and activities! Thank you:)

Perfect place to spend your time in Munduk. Hot showers and incredible views. The food here is amazing and you must try the coffee. Everything was catered to from motorbike rental, laundry and transportation nothing was ever an issue. Even our guide for when we went to Mt. Batur was organised. Perfect location to explore all of the waterfalls and use the hand drawn map to get to them all.

I have been traveling for 6 months throughout Asia and I have never encountered such a warm and welcoming place.the staff is smiling, kind and very helpful.the room is impeccably clean, very comfortable bedding and has a very nice view
Regarding the restaurant, the prices are cheap and the food is excellent, the owner is always present to give you some advice and explain the dishes on the menu. 10/10

Very friendly service. The food was fresh and delicious. We were also lucky to get a special dish: fresh fish from the local lake. The owner caught and prepared the fish himself!

Booked their "Munduk Panorama" room in Agoda, turned out the room was too dirty, everything was unorganized, hot shower wasn't working, and mold everywhere so yeah.

The view from the balcony is spectacular! The room is tiny but really cozy and it feels like home. We can use the kitchen downstairs to cook also! The owners are really kind and feels like a happy good vibe family. Loving my first time experience in here!

A simple place serving simple food but that's not meant in a bad way at all. The view is fantastic, the staff is very nice and the food is good. It's one of the very few (if not the only) places in Munduk open 24h.

Beautiful view with reasonable prices and fine service. We really liked the fried banana and traditional green cakes would recommend it!

I have quote a mixed feelings about this place. View was amazing, chicken satay as well. Service was 50/50 - good from the start and after we had our main meal, no service at all. We had to go to them and order the juice and water directly from them. And the juice was the second issue. We had a lot of them over past couple days so we have a lot to compare with. V
Both of the juices (watermelon and pineapple) where quite watery. For the same price we had much better ones.

Tough pork ribs, food came on dirty old wooden board instead of a plate. Sweet potato and dipping sauce were pretty good though. No hand soap at toilet, just dirty old bar soap

We stopped for a coffee which was with ginger and was nice. The views are very nice as with most cafes overlooking the valley. I was very disappointed to find the toilet really filthy hence the low score.

The beautiful panorama (as the name of the restaurant) was really undeniable! The food was just OK even though we had waited for long time. No parking lots was available so we parked on the busy main road side with very terrible traffic. We had the food in hurry!

The view is amazing! However this restaurant is a tourist trap who is only looking to get your money. When we didn't want to pay the 120.000 IDR for the buffet, the waiter instantly lowered the price.
It might be worth it to you, but it wasn't really for us

Great place with an awesome view over the valley and the sea, perfect to watch the sunset. Staff friendly, not to say adorable. Nice food, good prices. Recommended!

Menus were thrown on the table, half of the menu was unavailable. Eventually ordered the spaghetti. Waited an hour for the food and then received noodles with red sauce. Half of the noodles were undercooked. Relatively expensive compared to what's around. All in all not worth the visit.
