Watercress Cafe

We discovered this restaurant on our last day. It’s set back from a busy road. The style and atmosphere is cool and relaxed. The staff are adorable, warm, discreet and professional. The menu is interesting with a mix of different cuisines. Great!

We visited watercress Ubud several times because of this super delicious avocado toast. After we moved back Denpasar area we found out, that a second watercress Restaurant exists. So we visited that place too and we were more than happy, that we got here the avocado toast in the same quality like in Ubud. Thank you for that. All other dishes we tried were tasty as well. So we can highly recommend this place.

So bad quality food, The cook is horribly prepared, burnt bread, old curd cheese and cold meat, yesterday's croissant. I recommend not visiting.

Honestly i can’t even explain to you how good this place is. We had breakfast and it was super delicious. We had eggs with toast and it was soooo yummy. And french toast it was brilliant. Hence, i am coming again for another breakfast so you definitely needs to come. Do not miss it

After 3 weeks of breakfast in our favorite brunch, we decided to try a new place, it was the only meal of the day, and in the evening the strongest poisoning and intoxication of the body, thanks for breakfast

Nice place, if they didn't rip off tourists. Maybe that's the norm here, but I'll write this just so other prospective customers know.
Careful to specify what water to get in the beginning or they will give you something much more expensive than what's on the menu. Seriously, 35,000 idr for sparkling water? And at the end you're slapped with an extra 6% service charge and 10% tax. Food is average and definitely not worth that kind of price.

Bad experience after and during the meal. Food was average. Not impressive. And Do you really have to ask to finish fast by clean up good that’s not done yet? And ask for more order right after meal while it is not crowded that much? There are many places like watercress but with common- sense service! So I wouldn’t come again or recommend to my friends.

If u r vegan, this is the right place! All food taste good! The place small, same as the others restaurant around Bali. But quite nice. Definitely gonna back to this place again. Love it because there are some plants to make it greenish

Good place to relax and have delicious meal, if you are Vegetarian person you can have great Vegetarian meals as well with their wide option.cozy place and staff were so good like every where around Bali.

Great cafe with a lovely atmosphere and great food! The service was perfect and my french toast and scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. I also liked that my breakfast was highly customisable with the many extras and sides available on the menu.

Awesome breakfast place. Reasonably priced, fresh and high quality. Everything we tried here was delicious. Coffee and teas are also well made. The ambiance is very casual and full of beach city vibes. It's clean and modern. Remember to order the sides off the main menu because most of the dishes don't come with any extras such as bacon, eggs, toast etc. If you are craving fresh cracked coconut, they have it off the menu for 30k each.

Unfortunately the „new“ renovated Watercress did not satisfy our expectations. The location looks nice and fresh but the portions here are pretty small for the price you pay. The poached eggs were almost fully cooked inside and the granola yogurt ratio was off too. The smoothie is sweet but nothing special for that price compared to other restaurants in canggu.
Also after 11: 30 they wanted to charge us the tap water which was free before 11: 30 which we only had in one other restaurant here in Bali.
We really liked this place last year with its nice salads, especially the one with pumpkin (which is no on the menue anymore).
I hope that in a couple months Watercress is gonna be on its alltime high again.

Just re-opened after renovations. Beautiful, breezy and slick layout.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Great food. Quick service. Standard Canggu prices. 360k for two breakkie dishes, 2 coffees and one juice.

First cafe that I visited on my first trip to Bali. Food is good but we had to wait for quite awhile before the food got to us. Service there is good.

After having a magnificent breakfast at Watercress in Ubud we thought we'd try the Seminyak establishment, apart from getting the order completely wrong the meal was average, the portions were small and the food bland. Very disappointed. Watercress at Ubud was sensational.

I had dinner there several times, the food and service was excelent, the best food I had traveling in Bali for 3 weeks.

My favourite place for coffee in ubud - and then we went in the evening for the cocktail happy hour and some small plates from the dinner menu - everything was super delicious. I'm always surprised this place isn't busier but I guess it's mid-range prices. Staff always friendly and helpful. Love it. The brown butter edamame, nommmmmmm

Located in seminyak, good for breakfast. The menu is good and the price is not expensive. There are parking area next to the location.

I ate there almost dayly for about 12 days, either breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.
First things first: the food is delicious, fresh, prepared with care and beautifully set up. The coffe is fantastic, both Bali style and expresso. The fresh juices, smoothies, acai bowls. Awsome!
Additionally, the place is cosy, well designed to catch air flows and with enough ventilators and plants to create a very pleasant atmosphere even during the hottest most humid days.
The staff is not only friendly but good vibe spreading, they make you feel welcome and at home since day one. They keep smiling at any weird crazy european request. They truly check on your well-being during your stay.
In short, fabulous hearty place with adorable staff and delicious food. In Bali. Paradise)

Amazing selection of buffet-style foods. Very healthy and soooo tasty! Good service. If you haven't already been there you've gotta try it!

Great food and friendly service. We felt very confident in their food safety practices, which was a very pleasant change. Worth the extra money you pay. Try the avocado smash and the lime squash.

Food is delicious, plenty of staff so you don’t wait long to get order taken, food to come or to get the bill! Free wifi which is a bonus and inside or outside seating is a plus!

Please turn off the menu if its not available.they give me wrong menu. When i already confirm to the customer, they just said " we can't make it " whats the fvck.wasting my time so much.

Place is extremely well put together!
The ambiance here is amazing and they’ve got a great atmosphere for sitting down on laptop and getting some stuff done.
Smoothies bowls are a bit small but delicious!
Large smoothies are totally worth and can definitely vouch for it! Worth checking out if you don’t want to go to Kynd.
