I can't say enough good things about this stay. 10/10 experience from arrival to check-out.
The rooms are beautiful and spacious with an absolutely incredible housekeeping staff.
The staff as a whole are amazing with great communication! The daily surf schedule posted on the whiteboard and messaged out via WhatsApp to all of the guests makes keeping track of plans so easy.
The surf instructors are top notch. As someone who had never even touched a surfboard before I felt comfortable learning and had so much fun! The feedback the instructors provide is personalized and you can tell they care to see you progress.
And the food. Oh my goodness the food. The breakfasts each morning are absolutely gourmet with more options than you could ever want.
I can't wait to return!

Best time at the Wavehouse, all the instructors were attentive and pointed out areas where I had to improve with their video analysis. Will definitely be coming back.

Had the most amazing stay at Wave House, booked the studio villa - was so clean and beautiful, although can’t say we were in there much as there is so many things to do! Surfing was great, the instructors were sooo helpful and explained everything really well. Breakfast and coffee was excellent - baristas/bar staff are super friendly. Location is 10/10, only a short motorbike ride to anywhere you need to be. Also provides access to Finn’s Rec club that has a decked out gym, sauna, ice bath and HIIT classes all included and only a 5-10 min walk away. Guests were all so friendly and respectful, a mixed bunch from all over the world.

Simply amazing. I can only recommend this place and hope to come back one day. Amazing surf teachers, great location and an incredible value for the price. Also, definitely the best dorm room I have ever stayed in. I had a truly perfect stay.

It’s an incredible place with lovely staff who will do everything to make you feel at home.
I stayed in the girls shared room and it was really clean and spacious. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the servers really nice.
Thank you also to the amazing surfcoaches and videographers, i really saw my surf improve in 2 weeks!

Had a lovely week at wave house. The surf instructors and videos really helped me improve. The hotel, rooms, pool and vibes were super nice. Nephrita at the front desk so nice she even took me personally to he pharmacy when I was sick, Era, the barista made coffee so nice, any Melbourne barista would be proud. The rest of the food was delicious. The yoga was great.

Had a great time at surf camp, i’ve been twice! Staff is great and helpful.wayan, alextot, and irfan were the main surf instructors i’ve worked with and they really helped me grow as a surfer over these past two weeks.it was nice to work with them individually.they were very attentive, gave great tips and have lots of experience.they made each surf trip fun to be a part of, and had plenty of laughs:) it makes learning much better when you have the right teachers and guides.i will miss wave house and all of the staff! I hope to visit soon and take some more lessons while in bali.highly recommend this surf school.

We have visited all surf camps at Bali (to find a the best place for our couple) and stoped on wavehouse. I’m sure it was right choice, really cosy and nice place. And after we met Wayan (the best teacher ‍️) everything became perfect

The place is stunning, I took a dorm room and it was the most luxurious dorm I have been to.
But the best part is the staff, from reception to cafe to surf instructor they are all sooo nice.
Loved my week there and of course the surfing!

The surf lessons were great, all the instructors really nice and funny. The food and location was amazing too. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

I stayed 10 days at Wave House and had a blast. The accommodation is great and the pools and restaurant excellent. I had a great time and enjoyed the surf lessons very much. I was quite a bit older than most of the young adults at the camp (I am 56 yrs old:), but the camp is incredibly welcoming and inclusive and included people from across the world. I have made many new and wonderful young friends from Germany, Russia, China, Singapore etc:) I really had a lot of fun! The instructors are fun and encouraged me to do my best and enjoy the experience. I would definitely recommend Wave House and I look forward to coming back soon:)

2 star rating is a misnomer. Beautiful accommodation and new “cafe” is jaw dropping. Lovely staff. Great surf instructors (thanks Brazil!). Safe. Quiet but also communal if you wish. Love it!

This was my second time at Wave House and it already feels like a second home. I love coming back to friendly faces and experienced surf coaches. It's always a very comfortable stay and makes for a relaxing but fun holiday!

Amazing atmosphere and services provided by the camp. Good lessons and activities. Comfortable rooms.
It would be great to improve photos management and delivery, cause the process is slow and sometimes takes hours. Also, the possibility to use credit cards for payments will make my stay perfect.

I have enjoyed every single bit of my holidays, amazing comunity, helpful and welcoming staff, great and detailed surfing sessions what was my initial goal and I achieved what i came for. Room was neat and clean at all times, amazing breakfast choices and overall facilities. Areas for improvement in the future - understandably the russian speaking comunity is really big that eanglish speakers do not get as much attention that could be improved. Also booking clasess proces is a bit complicated once you’re busy on the timing camp posts the scedule, you have to take the leftovers and cannot choose, what is very unfortunate.
On the other hand staff was always trying to help me alocate the class I want, but there was times when I didn’t get my choice simply because I was busy at scedulle uploading hour.
Over all I would come back again as I enjoyed my week so much. Thanks for such an experience.

I have been to Wave house three times in the past year and hopefully come back many more times. It is exceptionally well designed, quality built, well kept and clean. Food served at the cafe is a very good value. Included breakfast is high quality- it includes any dish off the extensive breakfast menu plus fresh juice and coffee.
But the best part is the people that work and stay there - they create an amazing atmosphere. Employees are very friendly and accommodating and other guests are cool, interesting people from around the world. What really bonds guests together is shared experience of learning/improving their surfing. Surf lessons are very well planned and executed, instructors take you to the spots that work best on the day - i have had some unforgettable moments catching some of the best waves of my life. Instructors are friendly but they do challenge you to ask more from yourself.
The camp is walking distance from grocery stores, shops and cafe's. Fins club is 5 minute walk.
You have to give it a try!

Amazing place, instructors are all really good. The rooms are the nicest I’ve seen in Bali. The food is also very good. I would give them a 10 out of 10. I’m in Uluwatu and missing it already. Considering going back if there is room.

Pros
- Staff: Generally friendly and helpful staff
-Instructors and method of teaching: Mostly friendly and encouraging instructors. I liked the theory and photo reviews. The gradual approach helped to build confidence and skills quickly
- Site: Nice, clean looking rooms and grounds
- Finn's Club: You can use their VIP passes to Finn's for free. Nice place for sunset drinks (includes day beds and 30% discount).

Cons
- Construction: They are renovating an entire building, and work starts by 8/8: 30am and is going loudly all day. They should either close the place or offer a discount. If you don't want to feel like you are living on a construction site, consider going elsewhere over the coming few weeks, at least. I'm sure the new rooms will be beautiful though.
- Customer service: Making things as easy as possible for guests was not the focus. Instead, it felt like it was all about making the business efficient. The booking system never worked well and causes stress (if you don't book in time the day prior, you will lose the slot for the only class that is in your level, for which you have already paid, to outside customers). Additionally, they wouldn't switch me to a bottom bunk when one was available for the last few nights because it's too much hassle in the system. (I was happy to settle my bill and start a new one with the different bed number, but even that was too much of a hassle.) That really should not be the answer in the service industry
- Diversity of guests: I was one of only a few non-Russian speaking guests. I was the only English speaker in my lessons. This is a major bummer when you've chosen to pay more to be in a social, friendly environment. (Obviously, not a con for Russian speakers:)
- Laundry: It takes 3+ days, is relatively expensive compared to other guesthouses, and is not well organized (I received men's underwear back and was charged for it. And was hopefully reimbursed. I had no visibility to my final bill, so who knows. On that front, keep a separate ledger of your charges so that it isn't a black box at checkout.)
- No bug nets: Count on getting attacked all night, every night. I had no problems anywhere else I stayed for the month I was in Bali. I asked for a bug net and was told they would try to get one. They did not. (Again, poor service.)
- Dorm beds: They are not attached to the wall and shake like crazy. If you are on the top, you feel like you can't get up in the middle of the night to pee. If you are in either bunk, you will be woken multiple times per night
- Outlets: There are not enough outlets in the dorms (2 total for a four bed room). Plus, there are none that reach the top bunks, so you can't charge your phone and use it as an alarm (important for those early morning surfs!)
- Location: Close to a beach, but an hour drive (each way) to the surf school and 15-20 min scooter to the main area of Canggu. Feels pretty isolating
