Felt so safe, the staff are so nice and the owner is incredible! Loved it! Good prices, great food and never got sick.

Payed 100k to play beer pong thinking the beer would be supplied, skulled a cup and it was tap water. No one said not to drink the cup. What did we pay for? Haven’t ever played beer pong with Bali tap water… Been vomiting up to make sure we don’t get sick. Absolutely swindled. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This is the best place I’ve ever been to, the staff is so nice and you feel so at home. The food is amazing and the vibe it’s just amazing. If you need a place to go to this is the one!:)

A lot of variety of surfboards, the bad thing, too commercial brands, they should support local brands more and make them grow instead of wanting to earn more money by selling foreign brands, but it is understandable

Besides that the local staff is very nice and helpful, but that can’t make up for the attitude the american owner brings…

Hands down best acai bowls in Bali. Gland bowl is the best- their peanut butter and almond milk is homeade! Helpful staff and great parties on Wednesday nights.

Such a great surf shop! Came here in January of 2023 looking for a sweet board and they delivered. Some of the coolest people in Bali working here. The staff and owner are really nice and know alot about surfing the staff also is super knowledgable about what kind of board and fins fit your style of surfing! My next board purchase will most definitely be at the White Monkey Surf Shop!

I bought my board here in April 2022 and was assisted by Fhytra. He helped me choose an affordable board based on my surfing history, skills, and physical stature, and of course, budget. As a beginner wanting to step up my skills with surfing on my own, he took the time to teach me the basics on caring for the board, how remove the wax, how to wax, how to put the leash on, and how to mount it on the scooter—all of which are not usually done by a student going surfing with an instructor. Fhytra was very friendly, and so were all the other lady staff I interacted with when I needed to repair my board one time. The shop sells used and new boards, as well as other surf accessories and clothing. A bit on the pricey side, but a great collection of used surf boards in the Bukit area. Fhytra is also a very skilled surfer and offers lessons, and if you're up to it, you can go surf with him!

Read the reviews guys. I must agree the owner is such a joke and such a salesman in a very bad way.
As soon as he thinks you don’t have knowledge about surfboards, he tries to sell you anything just to make money with his brand. Probably this dude cant even surf himself.

He starts saying things like: when you buy a board you wanna buy a mercedes

This dude does not belong to Bali, does not belong to the surf culture ans should not be supported. Everyone is so nice and friendly and then there is this joke of a man who tries to rip off everyone

Surfboard consultants are busier than presidents, no chance to talk with them. The worst store expirience in Bali.

This has to be the hardest shop to actually buy anything from. None of the staff know what the prices are of items and seem disinterested most of the time in selling anything. One two separate occasions we tried to buy a board and the a board back - both worth millions of rupes but they couldn’t sell them to us as they didn’t know what price they could sell it at! Even more annoying was the whole process to get to this point took about 30 minutes for us to walk out empty handed. The only thing it has going for it is lots of stock - but good luck trying to buy any of it.

Disrespectful and rude owner. Needs a major culture shift. Staff trained to upsell the expensive merchandise and doesn’t genuinely care for the customers needs.

Incredibly rude, dishonest and misogynistic owner. First of all, I immediately overheard the owner expressing to the shop manager that they need to be hiring “more sexy women” for the shop. Secondly, after agreeing upon a board rental price, his well-trained staff member immediately back tracked and pretended like there was a language barrier and that he could not honor that price. Thirdly, after requesting to extend my board rental, the shop owner insisted I buy a brand new board instead (which had very limited options above 35L). Not to mention his constant rude comments towards customers and his own staff. I cut my losses and took my business elsewhere, where I ended up being very satisfied. Please, go to literally any other shop on the island

Good board selection but dishonest staff. Lied to me about the price of renting a surf board for two weeks in an effort to sell me on buying a board instead. Great shop if you know exactly what you want and good prices, but do not trust the staff.

Had the worst surf lesson from them.
We booked a beginners class, guys we're not talking to us and just dropped us in the water with crazy waves and no supervision. Even the "teachers" were impressed. They didn't even go back with us to the shop after the "class. " We had to pay for 2hours but we're only 1 hour on the beach and only 20mins in the water. We definitely do NOT recommend these guys!

Great selection, super friendly staff and a ton of boards with great deals. Luke was awesome in helping me find my best Indo board, super knowledgeable and friendly. Would totally recommend this shop!

Rip off shop! They charge extra at the end without any price lists! Surprisingly rude staff. There are other better shops you can use. Avoid these people.
