ZANZIBAR BEACH FRONT RESTAURANT

I had carbonara and pizza for dine in. The pasta was good but a little bit too salty. Overall it was not too bad. Then I had takeaway the other night, while waiting they offered me a cold water and bread sticks, nice service, very thoughtful.

I was there in October, arrived at around 3 pm a foreign family were swimming in the pool, but i realized the water was cloudy. Went to the beach for sunset and came back at 6: 30 pm and sat on the pool end with my feet inside, until other guests were trying to warn me not to use the pool and i was confused because no sign was placed. The staff came and explained that the pool was given cleaning chemicals bcs it’s dirty, i asked them why no one told me and it was as dirty as since i came at 3 pm and ppl still swam there. Anyways first, no signs that pool is not usable, second it was embarrassing to be warned by other guests as if i was a fool. Food was okay, we tried pizza, spaghetti aglio olio, and 4 drinks. I wrote my orders before anyone judge me as poor Indonesian that only order one drink but enjoys all facilities and know no manners. I spent a lot there

Great restaurant with a magnificent view! I recommend coming at sunset.

There is a swimming pool available, the staff is friendly and the food is super good!

We had to wait a very long time for our food. The pizza was a bit too crispy, which is why we only got three stars in the end.

Had a laid back morning here and amazing bfast by the beach. The food was beyond good (price and taste wise, quality ingredients) the price is affordable. Service also good. Plus Point: pet friendly place, but please for all dog owner, make sure your pet to behave

Hi this Lidya and Peter. We live permanently in Seminyak and are very regular guests. Several times per week we visit your resto and love your starters calamari, spring rolls and dip platter. Today we suddenly find out that these starters are not avaiable anymore. Menu is suddenly changed and will go change more next month. This is only the beginning the staff say. This is NOT GOOD. We and many other people like these food items. Just check your sales figures on that. Why not keep the good sellers / stuff and put extra ones if you want. Not all changes are for the good! Please reconsider and put these starters back on the menu. Thx. Lidya and Peter

First time visiting this restaurant and I’m impressed by the service and quality of the food! We had big breakfast and it was delicious, comes with fresh fruit and tea/ coffee on the side as well. The staff were very polite and service was quick. Totally recommended and will not hesitate to return:)

Restaurant with a nice rooftop with a pleasant swimming pool! The service is fast and the dishes are served for all the guests at the same time, which is rather rare! The cuisine is very good and the products are of high quality! An address to recommend!

Makanan lumayan enak, cm tidak d sediakan sambal hanya saus, mngkin target market bukan orang lokal. Ice creamnya enak banget. Bisa bawa anjing juga. Viewnya bagus langsung ke pantai pelayanan ramah dan cepat

We love everything about Zanzibar. We have eaten here on a previous trip to Bali but the two times we visited this time was just lovely. The service from all of the staff was amazing but I would like to do a shout out to Demas, what a lovely young fella, his service was impeccable on both occasions we were there. The food was beautiful and oh and that soufflé pancake… it was the best desert we have ever had. Massive compliments to the chef. The price is so reasonable as well.
We look forward to returning when we visit Bali in the future. Thank you so much!

Love this place! The cocktails were the best we had all trip. Tasty and very well priced. Food is the same. Staff were amazing every visit. Highly recommend.

Only had desert and drinks, but seems fairly authentic.
Red wine served cold, which is a bit creative.

Amazing upstairs area. Decent food. Service was amazing on one visit, then minimal on the next (but he tried hard). Very friendly staff.

Really helpful staff. It rained for a bit and they did their utmost to make sure everyone was comfortable and dry. Really great service even though they were rushed off their feet as it was new year's eve. Pasta was yum! Highly recommend the Aglio Olio and the carbonara was good too.

We had breakfast in Zanzibar every day during our 6 weeks holidays in Bali. We enjoyed the food and the Balinese atmosphere at the beach. The staff is very nice and helpful. For sure we will be back next year.

Staying close by Double 6 beach, Zanzibar has been our place of choice for breakfast and some dinners.

A lovely restaurant set on the road overlooking the beach in the Legian region.
There is an deck arrangement outside with large umbrellas to give you a view of the sea. Of course you have to look passed the road, traffic wall and stalls but none the less a nice enough ambience. There is also an ‘inside’ area but we opted for the deck.

Un be known to us initially there is, upstairs, also a lovely bar with chairs and tables adjacent to a beautiful infinity pool probably 7m by 2m in size. Not a pool for swimming but rather to cool off and take in the awesome ocean view.

The staff was very friendly and the menu sufficient.

The food was not overly priced and when it arrived it was nicely presented with chicken, sauce, salad and chips.

The main problem with the food was there was virtually no flavour. I’m not really sure how one does that but the presentation was nice, texture fine but no flavour.

It of course may have been our selection but other than that The Zanzibar was a lovely place for lunch.

We will probably go back there because everything else was really nice.

We are at Zanzibar now having our 3rd Breakfast, service is fantastic looking over the beach. Since coming here since covid the owners have put more toilets in downstairs but when you go upstairs you go Wow; there is a pool up there day beds beautiful view of the ocean watch tge planes fly in.

Had the museli and truffle scrambled eggs. Food was quite delicious - portions not huge but still tasty and high quality. Sourdough bread was super yummy. Juice was the best one I've had so far in Bali and coffee was really good as well. Service was so friendly and the setting was really comfortable and calming. Lots of breakfast options and clean toilets as well.

I was sick all night after I eat half of my fish and chips. I knew something was wrong I should not have eat it at all.

Back in Bali finally and back to Zanzibar. This place has never disappointed over the years. This night I went with the barramundi with potato hash and salad. Everything was perfect, the meal the service the lovely staff the value for money.
This is one of the places that I was so very happy to return to after a few challenging years for all.

Pizza Zanzibar is so delicious!
The portion is also quite big. I know the prices of food and beverages have all gone up but this is quite reasonable with the taste they serve.
What I miss is the ice frappe as my favorite drink, but its not available anymore: (
This is the first time I've come after the renovation, it's pretty good and still comfortable as it used to be, equipped with soft seats and cushions as well as music that isn't too loud to make me feel at home.
The best time to come is at sunset time.
The service is quite good and everyone who works here is friendly and polite:)

Been here many times in the past and enjoy the food every time. Loved their Pizzas the best. This restaurant opposite the beach was the best Italian food in Bali before Covid. Sadly they had to get rid of the Italian chef due to Covid I am guessing.
The young Balinese cooks been trying their best but food taste and quality isn’t what it used to be.
I wish them the best and hope they will re employ Italian chefs to re capture the quality and taste.

Food was good, well priced but the best was the young lady servicing us she was exceptional, so polite & knew how to serve drinks & food.

Zanzibar has always been a family favourite for many many many years.
Such a beautiful restaurant, incredible staff, and the renovations are stunning. Sunset drinks in the pool over looking the beach is to die for
Unfortunately though the meals have shrunk dramatically in size and the prices have increased.
The food is incredible but since shrinking the portions they are fat from filling. The American breakfast used to come with a basket of fruit, basket of bread, coffee, juice and a hot meal. Now you receive the smallest amount of fruit, 1 slice bread, no juice etc.
It’s a shame the portions have shrunk as it used to be our daily breakfast spot everyday as we’d be full until dinner, where as this trip we found ourselves only there 3 morning as we then had to go elsewhere for more food.

Been here for a few times. The staffs are super friendly and assisting. Loved the dinner as well as breakfast here.

Efficient and welcoming. Always making sure you have what you need.

Food:
Wide variety of western food as well as Indonesian options. The meze plate, calamari and fish and chips were extremely tasty. The size of the plates is large. Great prices for the high quality and quantity.

Drinks:
They have a couple of special options. Including the bucket of 5 Smirnoff which we had a few times during our stay. They also have a wide range of cocktails, beer and wine on the menu.

Atmosphere:
Brilliant for a cool break from the heat. Great for watching the world go by.

Our go to whenever we're in the neighbourhood. Great Italian food. Friendly waitress. Love the pastas & pizzas. Yummy desserts too.

I ate in Zanzibar for 4 consecutive days and I was very pleased with the food and service (especially Mrs. Sri) Thank you!

For dinner we had the spaghetti aglio olio e pepperoncino (65k), the linguine prawns & mushrooms (99k) and the Mediterranean pizza (110k). Each dish was pretty much perfect! Seriously. If this was in Melbourne id be there every week considering the prices! The serve of pasta is entre size so just order 2 dishes if you want main. Found out the chef is from Italy which explains the quality of food.

Nice breakfast and pasta dishes. Loved the Mezze plate and Espresso Afacato.

Zanzibar is a classic here in Bali bit not what it used tk be. Place is out dated. Service is terrible. View is perfect by the way.
