Garuda Lounge International Flight

Booked business class and ended up in the economy lounge.
The Garuda Lounge impresses with plenty of space and. Oops, nothing more!
Glass of champagne - none. Or nuts to nibble on - not with us!
There's a noodle mess, salad bar and boring cakes.
At the entrance it says "silent lounge" but in the seating area the TV plays the children's channel loudly.
You won't find any information displays about the flight - only Garuda Indonesia flights are shown here - but this display is also broken. You're happy when the flight is called for check-in and you can leave this experience behind you.

The lounge is clean, but there are insects here, the food is not varied, there is a children's play room, a small toilet, lots of sofas. More attention is needed to protect the lounge from insects and increase food variety

Old. Especially the Bathrooms. Hot water was finished after one minute. The fan couldn’t be closed or adjusted. Staff friendly. Shower Kit not really helpful.
For food there are no options. Drinks are unfortunately not drinkable.
It needs to be improved.

Several kinds of light meals are prepared, but the pasta was not delicious.
Beer and alcohol can be provided if you ask the staff at the counter.
Because it was a late-night flight, it was quite empty.
There are plenty of outlets, so you can work and charge.
There was also a free shower room.
The helpful thing was that there was a kids' space in the lounge, and a video for children was being played, so I was able to wait while relaxing with my child.

It’s located airside. You can access from the escalator behind the small pharmacy. There is no visible sign there, so don’t miss it. No waiting time required, just show your boarding pass. I was ok with the food here, buffet style mostly Indonesian. (Black rice porridge was an experience!) I would have liked more if they have more soft drink options because I know Indonesia has wide range of them. I also used shower to prepare for my midnight flight. You can get a shower kit by asking staffs in there. (not the front) The dryer wasn’t working but overall ok. There’re enough seating and sockets, but I might prefer to use USB and softer and wider seatings. First class lounge is completely separated. One concern I’ve noticed here is that, I don’t know why though, there was many fruits fries “inside” the sandwich cage. Maybe better to eliminate meat and cheese?

Unfortunately too many insects everywhere in the lounge, specially in food area. That’s mean they don’t clean well.

Packaged food mostly with 1 or 2 hot options Liz Only drinks are coke and sprite - No alcohol. Stacked up chairs like it’s been abandoned in areas.

Just like another lounge. Confortable place while waiting you flight. One thing for sure, the food is very delicious.

First of all: this Lounge is HUGE! VERY SPACIOUS! I found it out when I tried to walk from one end to another. Excellent!

This lounge provide confortable waiting area with decent food and beverage. Choices of snacks, salads, soup, sandwiches to heavy meal are provided to fulfill your needs. Drinks from plain water, coffee, tea and soft drinks are also abundant.

The staffs are neat, very friendly and helpful.

Children corner, praying room and business center are here to comfort the guests.

There are 2 toilets and shower area near the end of its 2 corners. Fairly clean and no smoking. But somehow some ignorant people were still smoking in the toilet. Maybe they thought others wouldn't smell it. Genius!

The whole establishment is fairly beautiful. Unfortunately the cleanliness is still a bit "not there yet". I found bread crumbs on the table where I sat from the previous guests.

Overall, it looks like a 4 star hotel lounge. So 4 star it is.
