WE OPENED OUR DOORS ON JULY 13,1937
Vernon Rudolph bought a secret yeast-raised doughnut recipe from a New Orleans French chef, rented a building in what is now historic Old Salem in Winston-Salem, NC, and began selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts to local grocery stores.

The delicious scent of cooking doughnuts drifted into the streets, and passers-by stopped to ask if they could buy hot doughnuts. So, he cut a hole in an outside wall and started selling hot Original Glazed doughnuts directly to customers on the sidewalk.

Birth of the Display Case
After the war, a showcase was designed for this space. The top served as the counter. Since cake doughnuts and cake sticks were made as well as yeast doughnuts, an attractive display could be made of the variety. The display case is a feature you cannot miss when entering our stores today.

Krispy Kreme Fundraising- Special business ordering from churches, schools, clubs and other organizations took an upswing in 1955, and has grown steadily.

Fundraising
Using the Fund Raising Plan to sell doughnuts has enabled many schools to buy uniforms and take school trips. The Plan has also helped organizations buy air conditioners, pianos, and libraries for schools. It has helped to fund scholarship programs.

My kids joined the doughnut dipping activities and they enjoyed it. The staffs were all helpful and patient. The ingredients and tools were clean. Price was very affordable (45K for 2 doughnuts & a drink, plus apron and paper hat per kid) and you can get discount when you order via Traveloka.

Not recommended for family dining. Staff are unprofessional and the fact that they have a very limited number of baby chairs is a joke

Today me and my friend had dinner at Maison Tatsuya, i choose a Gyoza as the appetizer and it taste pretty good, Meanwhile the Chicken Teriyaki was nicely plating and the flavor are good as well. The chicken are moist, tender and well marinated with teriyaki sauces. It taste sweet, salty, savory and umami. Complete with sunny side up, white rice, mixed veggies like cabbage, mushroom, sliced carrots and dried seaweed. Overall the flavor was the bomb and the miso soup are taste perfect, still hot, with some dices tofu. It's a Japanese Fusion meal and i really like it.

They have indoor and outdoor seating area which is the view are the fountain, where kids are playing around and screaming happily. The services are pretty good, where the menu are shown from tablet, and they provide free dessert like soft serve ice cream, pudding with vanilla sauces, waffle, fruits skewers (pineapple, watermelon).

One of the best teppanyaki place I have ever had. The Teppanyaki Sakura set comes with Salmon, Prawn and Rib Eye beef, fried rice, vegetables, all cooked in front of you by the chef.

Restoran Teppanyaki, koki masak di depan kita. Ada pilihan paket2 nya, tinggal pilih mau yg mana. Tapi bagi yang makannya biasa2 saja, paket yg paling murah sudah pas.itu sekitar 195 ribu per paket/orang. Bisa juga kalau 3 orang pesan paketnya 2 bagi yg makannya tidak terlalu banyak. 1 paket terdiri dari macam2 sayuran, tahu jepang, salmon, udang, ayam teriyaki dan nasi goreng. Paket yg lebih mahal ada tambahan steak sapi, dll. Harga paket belum termasuk minuman.

Salah satu tempat kopi yg lumayan sering didatangin karena ada label halal MUInya, kopinya enakk.donatnya enakk.pelayanan ramah, banyak promo pake aplikasi, promo ikutan survey.udah gitu aja.

Salah satu restoran Jepang yg ada di ÆON Mall BSD adalah Maison Tatsuya. Konsepnya cukup unik yaitu teppanyaki gt tetapi makanannya langsung dimasak di depan meja kita oleh chefnya. Kami memesan menu paket Ume, jadi diawali dengan vegie, kemudian lanjut ke udang dan cumi, lalu daging sapi sirloin 100gr, baru ditutup oleh nasi goreng. Cukup kenyang dan puas makan di sini. Bisa free flow ocha jg. Harganya, ya agak mahal sih, bisa Rp 200.000an+/ orangnya. Tp masih worth kok. Cobain deh.
