A wonderful experience at Arjuna, we did a photoshoot here for my sister in law and her partner, we all had a lovely time. The team provided a full service from make up, costumes, plenty of rooms for the couple to have different background settings. The colonial and heritage elements to the space were mostly hand-picked and designed by the owner Teddy and we felt that there is no other photo studio like this in Jakarta. If you appreciate history, sophistication and great customer service i def recommed Arjuna Photo Studio.

This studio provides many attributes as well as traditional costumes to rent for photo shoots. They have an amazing team of a skilled make up artist and experienced photographers at your service. I just had a photo shoot at Arjuna last week, and could not be happier with the result. This place a hidden gem tucked in South Jakarta which offers a non-mainstream photo concept with Indonesian traditional vibe. I am not a professional model yet I feel super comfortable during the entire photo shoot process. Teddy (the owner) and his team (Ana, Andri, Deni) are so amazing, I cannot thank them enough for the positive experience that I had in my photo shoot. I've been a fan of Teddy's work for a while now, and very happy that he was the one who did my makeup and photographed me.
We started with brainstorming ideas, they carefully listen to what you want and they also proposed some ideas that they feel might suit you best. I love that my photos truly reflects who I am in a better form (hope this makes sense:)
If you are a tourist visiting Jakarta, this is a good option which you can experience Indonesian culture in a unique way. And if you are Indonesian looking for place for family portrait, beauty shot or prewed with Indonesian concept, I highly recommend Arjuna.
This is the second time I had my photo shoot with Arjuna. One thing for sure, the team has never failed me. One of the themes that I'd done was "Srikandi for Arjuna" theme. Amongst many ideas and themes I brought to the table, Arjuna's team was always there to accommodate and give the best shot. Everything is nicely done from the make up, angle, background, and of course the overall service itself. Can't wait to have another photoshoot project in the future with Arjuna! Unique place. Very beautiful and traditional. Both inside and outside deco are very java style. An quiet and perfect place to take beautiful photos. The meals are better than I expected.

Awalnya mau foto studio sama keluarga, ternyata di Arjuna juga ada cafenya, jadi bisa nunggu yg lain siap2 sambil makan hehe studio nya keren, photographer juga bisa mengarahkan gaya dengan baik, puas dengan hasil dan pelayanannya, makanannya juga.

Hari Minggu 7 Juli 2019, adalah hari yang menyenangkan buat kami alumni Fak Ekonomi 87 UPN Veteran Jogjakarta yg domisili di Jakarta, mengadakan kegiatan HBH disini, kami memilih tempat ini karena suasananya yg spt rumah, bisa lebih dekat satu sama lainnya, dan tentunya dekorasi yang unik sehingga foto2 kenangan kami begitu berkesan, tempat yang pas banget buat kegiatan reuni.pelayanan yg ramah membuat kami merasa nyaman, makanannya juga enak, jadi tidak ada alasan lagi untuk.bilang top banget.

I had a chance to go to Arjuna for our family photoshoot. Due to many reviews showing us on how fit the location setting for cultural-heritage photoshoot, we think we got to try this and pick the similar photoshoot theme.
And undoudbtedly, it is worth it!

Just finished my prewedding in Arjuna with 2 session, casual and traditional photoshoot with javanese attire. Amazing Indonesian food with good deal price, and comfort place photo studio. You will enjoy to spend time here and having a best results for your photo studio
Came to this place thinking it would be a simple photoshoot, but we were wrong. When we got there we were equipped with light makeup. You can also chose to use Indonesian traditional clothing, but we chose not to. The both of us each tool photos one by one and then finally together. A small place, but there are MANY places and backdrops around the small building to take pictures. Nice traditional and rustic walls, colourful and vintage objects. The cameraman was very patient and friendly. Then the boss came and had a chat about where he got his influence of this place and what he wanted it to be. There was also a TV channel that was there to film him talking to us. Although it was a bit pricey you dont only get photos, but also an experience. I personally loved the place for its traditional atmosphere. Location is a little hard to find, but located very near to main roads, in other words, I'd call it a hidden gem. Recommended to those who want a fun yet professional photoshoot. Dont forget to bring friends and family
Amazing experience through and through. Did not expect such a beautiful sanctuary in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Jakarta. It's like stepping back in time. The decor, the aroma, the collection of Indonesian traditional wear, the hospitality, and of course the talented Teddy Lim (photographer/make up artist), made me enjoy every single moment and promise to come back. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a one-of-a-kind portrait taken, delicious food, relaxing yoga, or just to appreciate the beautiful collection of Indonesian heritage.
