Most coziest bar with superb ambience and nice live band and hats off to the amazing DJ. My favourite Bar

Refined and welcoming pub restaurant located in the basement of the Shangri-La hotel. Very kind and attentive staff, fast and professional service. Alcohol prices are quite high but on the other hand we are in a 5-star hotel in a Muslim country.

Apparently this is the go to place. 150,000 as a drink cover charge for non hotel guests is not a big deal as it’s on par with bar prices. Basically they want to get at least one drink out of anyone coming in. Seems fair. Was way to quiet while I was here but definitely a nice place to sit and have a drink. Oh and they don’t stock Baileys Edit: hung around and it really got much better after 11.

While I write this review I stay at Shangrila so I visited this Bar which is at the basement of the hotel.

Seductive bar with Live band, great music, live and DJ, cool and attentive staff, wide range of drinks, nice ambience with a classic prohibition-era feel, made of wood, steel and bricks, beautiful unpretentious crowd, relaxed but trendy and sexy dress code.

Ideal place for a lonely man seeking for a hangout where he won’t find any difficulty to mingle and have a chat with other nice and pretty patrons.

The staff is amazing, very polite and informative!

After 1 year this place is still amazing! Outstanding staff great music and good location. Bar seating is limited so get there early. 10pm.plenty of table seating for live band. Before 10pm great happy hour and cozy setting similar vibe for speakeasy bars.

For me this one is my fav one for hangout night club in Jakarta. Live band is sooo grear with foreigner band.

The place is really nice. I pick from the menu Australian tenderloin and imported beer, all was super. They got live band entertaining the guest. I will visit again for sure.

Quite a generic bar that doesn't offer much unique experience or ambiance. The drinks are overpriced but without special taste/feel to them. A fascinating place to witness and mingle with working ladies in action.

It's an okay place to hang out, I guess. I came here for an event and sure I had a good time, although it's mostly from the crowd. The music isn't the best, I would say. Besides drinks, my friends and I also tried their food. Pizza, to be exact. And it was a good thin crust pizza. I wouldn't make it a regular hang out place, but I may consider for events.

The place was nice at all. Live music and the environment, but the song like 80's generation, I don't like it because it's too old

Small cozy Bar with good band. Drinks are $$$ with entry fee 150000IDR with 1 free drink. Lot of regular SPK inside, looking for Expats. DJ guy is awesome and very polite, plays both Top10 Dance Western, Asian and Arabian songs. Even if you coming alone, you will not feel lonely, there will be definitely some SPK waiting for you. By the way safe place, good security inside. However all SPK regular in the Bar so very less chances of bad experience. All kind of drinks available for you at average 150-200k idr.

Love this place because it brings a lot of good memories.love this place because of the manager, Paul, who has been entertaining me and my friends for the past few years.love this place because it offers great drinks and foods too! Love this place because they have great live music.but.there are nights were there are too many creepy bule who seems to be haunting for ONS and too many local 'thirsty' Indonesian girls on the same mission too - which is kinda annoying at times.overall, if you are looking for a hide-out in the centre of Jakarta, this is the place!

Amazing band and excellent food! I always visit BATs when in Jakarta because they have great live music. The band plays all of the classic hit songs and are incredibly talented musicians. By far, the best food I have had in Jakarta is here, too.

One of my favorite good steak dinner in town. Jumbo size, good to have when you really hungry:)
Service not as good as food.
Staff bit slow and didn’t pay attention/hear you properly. Food come really late, ordered med-rare steak but took forever to be delivered to the table also they missed my cream spinach and took another 45 mins again even after 3 people came and check my order.

Nice place. Band good, drinks bit expensive but overall if you looking for company as a expat this is a good place to have a drink and meet someone. Dont bother going before 23h00, close about 3.30 to 4am.

Its one of the most private bar in Jakarta its downstairs like a bunker. But don’t let the bunker fool you this place is lit! Every night they have live bands and local band and if thats not enough a Dj also. Thats everyday. I love going to this place its away from all crowd and the city busy area. If you want a closed Bar and awesome music this is the place. The food is just words cant describe. The area is huge also they have an area for family dining and just occasional drinks at the bar.

House band plays pop hits with their own medleys applied. Good crowd response. Decent size dance floor. Plenty of western people.

Love the live music! Good atmosphere and tasty food. The staff are really good, they'll look after you and keep the drinks flowing.
