Daitokyo Sakaba

Great food. Lovely place for an intimate dinner with close friends, as the tables are located inside small-ish cubicles. We were lucky enough to get the last available cubicle. The place is also around 200m away from Taman Literasi and the Blok M MRT station.

Improving a lot from last time i went there few years back. Yakitori are good size. Price point are attractive. Definetly will be back.

Makanan khas jepang dengan suasana dan rasa ya.g jepang banget. Gyutan don nya the best. Sate satenya juga enak. Walaupun sedikit mahal untuk maknanan.

Tempatnya unik, berasa di Tokyo, biasanya selalu rame. Rasanya enak, tapi masih lebih enakan Kas**wa, harga cukup bersahabat. Menunya variasinya banyak, ada banyak pilihan sake. Penyajiannya ga terlalu lama walaupun rame, sate kulitnya mantap.

Daitokyo Sakaba terdiri dari 2 lantai. Yang pertama area bar yang langsung menghadap ke open kitchen dan beberapa meja private. Area ini dipisahkan oleh lorong panjang yang menuju ke lantai dua. Sementara di lantai dua, terdiri dari beberapa ruangan yang menggunakan tatami. Kalau mau duduk di lantai dua, minimal pembelian harus sekitar Rp 300.000, -.

Authentic Japanese cuisine with chill atmosphere. The food is superb. The gyu tan don is delicious. The waiting list can be a bit long, it's better to reserve a spot a day or two before you dine here.

Salah satu restoran jepang di blok m square dengan sebutan little tokyo. Lokasinya ada di sebelah kiri blok m square, bagian ruko ruko. Sangat gampang dilihat karena interior luarnyabsangat kentara akan khas jepangnya. Kalau mau lihat menu, tersedia buku menu didepa restoran. Jadi bisa memperkirakan berapa spent yang akan dikeluarkan

Menu makanannya enak dan banyak pilihan, saya suka butter rice dan yakitorinya. Bisa reservasi tempat terlebih dahulu dengan minimal order 300ribu rupiah. Namun pelayanan bisa ditingkatkan lagi.

Menu makanannya variatif dan good taste.untuk harga termasuk standar. Disaran kan untuk booking dulu karena antrian nya panjang.sayang masih ada yang merokok di dalam ruang makan.

The food is so so, can't enjoy the food even if it was good due to the thick cigarette smoke. Tried the ramen, kushiyaki/yakitori, pickled veggies. The best item on the menu was the crispy chicken skin. Wouldn't recommend going back. Service is horrible on top of all these shortcomings.

Japanese restaurant on Melawai area, i suggest to make a reservation before you come.wear something light because it kinda hot inside.all area are smoking so not recommended to bring children here.

Japanese delicacy and yes serve pork so im not sure about the halal.price range from 20 (yakitori) to 200rb for japanese bbq.

Portion are okay for one person however i find the taste quiet okay compare to the price.
Their karage was a bit too indonesian tastebud which i love it.

I love the chicken wing and chicken skin yakitori.gyutandon rice bowl is good but ramen just okay.

Good experience as my friends whose visit japan told me its similar like eating in japan (ambiance).

But if i have to que i dont think its worth but hey you can always make a reservation.

Place quiet hidden no signage clearly, go inside melawai area and park nearby seiko or freshmart and walk just around 2 minutes.

Or park in blok mall or pasaraya grande and walk about 10 minutes.

I used to be a fan of their buta mayo don but tonight's experience is kinda disappointing. The pork are chewy and not as marinated as it used to be. They also didn't bother to sprinkle any spring onions on it. Understand that it was already quite late, but I think the waitress shouldn't be very unwelcoming. I guess next time I'm here, it would just be for the beer.

If you love Japanese Food, I really recommend this place. Only Open after Office Hour (Around 5 or 6PM until 11PM) this place never empty, so it's better to make Reservations before you go this place.

Located in Blok M Square Area at Melawai, sometimes it quite hard to get a Parking Spot Near the restaurant.

For the food itself, it's one of the best and recommended.

Notes:
On Rush Hour, staff response it's little bit underwhelming, because most of their staff it's on kitchen area, only around 3-4 staff on serving area, so be patient.

Tempat yang sedikit nyaman untuk hangout bersama teman hanya saja boleh merokok di dalam ruangan membuat kenyamanan berkurang

Tempat duduk kalo makan sendiri agak kurang pewe dan rapet banget, mungkin kalau didalam ruangannya lebih nyaman. Kmrn nyobain lidah disini, enyaaak2

Great small Japanese yakitori joint. It's their forte, but let's not forget those awesome ramen. Rich and very fulfilling.
But watch for the long queue line. Worth the wait!

Salah satu resto jepang yg lagi hits d area blok M, little tokyo. Tempatnya ga jauh dr halte Busway Blok M. Deket sama filosofi kopi. Tadi dateng d hari libur jam 6an. Lumayan rame. Suasananya cukup otentik jepang si, ala ala bisnisman jepang gitu. Ada ruang tatami juga. Tempatnya cukup banyak. Nah tadi pesenannya cukup banyak, ada 9 menu lah. Rata2 makanannya enak. Untuk yg ga terduga nabe nya ternyata enak. Ada minum refil juga ocha. Nilai plusnya servisnya cukup cepet, rasanya juga enak. Minusnya bagi yg ga merokok. Ruangan disini ga dipisahin area roko ama yg ngga. Jd cukup terganggu jg. Terus tempatnya terlalu remang2 gelep2 gitu. Hahahah. Tp overall ok kok.

Nice food, but too crowded if you need a quiet place. Bring your friends here and have fun together.

Not bad for the food. Kinda a bit salty. One thing I don't like is, all the waitress are not too friendly.

Great food and great ambience! The place was decorated with traditional Japanese interior, so you would feel like you are eating dinner is some real Japanese restaurant (I love the ambience!). The food was.amazing. I forgot the names for each dish, but all of them was really tasty and juicy. The miso soup was really salty, so if you can't handle it I won't recommend it. The vegetables are my favorite (it helps you to get those greasy meat down to your stomach) such as kimchi, butter spinach and buttered corn. If you're planning to go here for dinner, I recommend you to come fast since most of the time they will put you on the waiting list first. It was worth the wait!

This is a great japanese place where you can enjoy the beef and pork at a reasonable price but the Don is the greatest one you can find in Jakarta! Both the beef and buta! If you want to come here on peak hour, you better reserve your spot earlier as the struggle is real to get a seat in here!

Good food but too much effort to be on the waiting list. I came from 4.30 pm even though the store open at 6.00 pm and i'm already at number 14th (waiting for approximately 2.5 h.o). The waitress told me that you should be RSVP first at least 2 days before you come so you don't have to be waste your time too long.

Kawa (chicken skin) salty or sweet
Tori karaage (fried chicken)
Hamburg teppan (miced beef on teppan)
